Chapter 1949 Chapter 1941: A Strange Identity
Chapter 1949 Chapter 1941: A Strange Identity
The Unfettered Dawn soared across the Dark Void before the observant gazes of many experts. Since the Dawning Day of Supreme Death, Wei Wuyin's every move was scrutinized by every information-gathering organization. After the shift of opinion and fact, proving that the Neo-Dawn Alchemic Saint was legitimate via publicly announced recognition of the seven Zeniths, reassuring those with ears to the ground that he was not in violation of possessing a genius alchemic talent, Wei Wuyin became a focal point of the galaxy.
Since stepping into the galaxy all those months ago, the topic at almost all levels of society was of him. Whether it was his identity as a brazen foreigner of a nascent empire or his recent ascension as a Heavenly Saint Alchemist via concocting a genuine product of the Mystic-Heaven grade, he was on everyone's tongues. Especially so for the latter, allowing even those who were mere mortals to hear of his fabled name, establishing himself as the eighth Zenith Tower, breaking the conventional limits of the galaxy.
The sequence of events that had to play out to allow all seven Zeniths to agree to such an outrageous establishment was certainly unprecedented and extraordinarily well-planned! Praise echoed out like mythical hymns of his feats-a growing legend.
Wei Wuyin!
The Neo-Dawn Alchemic Saint!
Ascendant Emperor of the Neo-Dawn Empire!
Moreover, there were many speculations regarding his true power and abilities, especially his cultivation base, which was said to have been openly admitted as a Mystic Ascendant Realm cultivator. The waves of his achievements were growing and growing across the galaxy, even extending further beyond.
However, amongst those speculations and tales of greatness was a single name that infused a tension into it all. This name was none other than: Magi.
Silver-eyed.
A single trait that many living had of all races, but there was a specific shade of silver that was unable to be imitated by even purposeful attempts of bodily modification, almost as if it was the embodiment of pureness and essential creation that could never be copied, that contained a spiritual presence that was unmistakable.
During his return from seclusion, at the Dawning Day of Supreme Death, Wei Wuyin's eyes were no longer those of Alchemic Stars, showcasing their true colors as a distinct silver. As gorgeously alluring as they were, paired with a face that was so unearthly handsome in features that few had ever seen anything remotely close in magnetism and appeal, made them unforgettable and easily identifiable.
While certain details regarding Wei Wuyin were clarified and answered, additional questions and concerns began to arise. Questions that the Dao Enforcers and Zeniths dared not ask, exposing their faint fears towards this newly inducted citizen. This was especially so if the implications of his cultivation base were true, and they were aware that his cultivation base was true!
Various currents surged above and beneath the Utmost Purity Galaxy. And at the center of these currents, the epicenter of it all, was none other than a young man whose age had yet to reach two hundred years of age!
Ancient Zenith World.
The Ancient Zenith World was the unique brand of Zenith World that was created by, and used only by, the current generation's Ancient Zenith. The sole Resonant Soul Realm Alchemic Resonant Soul Heavenly Saint Alchemist of the Utmost Purity Galaxy, requiring spiritual qi of the heavens.
It was a glorious sight to behold. From within or beyond, the hue of seven colors decorated the clouds and skies, while the seas, mountains, and forestry were alive and vibrant, synchronizing flawlessly with everything else in a complete, seamless cycle enriched by spirituality. Atop its deepest ocean region was a palace that floated stably upon the waters, and there were several personal-sized Void Vessels anchored at a port.
Among them was the currently anchoring Void Vessel that Su Yi had come in, owned by Heaven-Saint Ancient Zenith herself, piloted by her envoy. Su Yi stepped off the vessel; his white robes were clean, his bearing was unfettered, and his spirit was serene and confident.
During his past life, it had always been a goal of his to meet the Ancient Zenith of the Utmost Purity Galaxy. A goal of many Supreme Sages, and despite his status as a revered Cardinal Eminence, he was unable to do so, almost always speaking through envoys and representatives. He was rejected time and time again.
Now, in this life, he was invited here personally. What a twist in fortune this was, wasn't it? He didn't feel too bitter about the rejections, fully aware that most Supreme Sages, even a Microheaven Envoy who'd attained Cardinal Eminence status, weren't remotely comparable to this Ancient Zenith. In past generations, perhaps. After all, those Ancient Zeniths were merely a greater authority of their brand of Alchemic Dao amongst their peers, never a Resonant Soul Realm expert.
And those who abandoned their Alchemic Souls for the Resonant Soul Realm were no longer qualified to be classified as Zeniths of any type. Who knows how many abandoned their Alchemic Souls yet failed to attain that legendary realm? Just thinking of it was enough to generate some pity.
"Daoist Su," the envoy flatly gestured for Su Yi to follow into the palatial structure established upon the ocean. Su Yi nodded.
Suddenly, both he and the envoy halted. Their eyes shot upwards. A silver ship of Ancient Void Vessel design was blazing a path towards them. It was remarkably swift, almost as if all of space and time refused to provide any resistance to impede its travels. When it arrived, the sky and clouds parted.
The Unfettered Dawn didn't halt as it flew in. Without stopping, and with exquisite control as if the ship itself was a living creature in full authority of itself, it landed at the anchorage, locating a spot, and with an abrupt halt that seemed to defy the laws of generated momentum, the ship perfectly anchored itself without disturbing the ocean.
Su Yi's eyes widened slightly.
Four figures departed from the ship, and at the lead was the same man who had saved Chu Xing and Superior Yujin, leaving him to fend for himself, granting him just a modicum of opportunity to live. He had seized it entirely, and with his victory came a hoard of treasures and rewards from his kills, placing him on a path to advance further. It was hard to say if Su Yi had good or bad feelings towards him, but at the very least, he knew that at this moment, Wei Wuyin was not an enemy or ally of his.
There was a distance to his every action. Clearly, Wei Wuyin wanted to establish that relationship as such, not helping him easily or too much, and almost strictly on behalf of Yue Baoyue that silly girl. However, it was impossible to deny that Wei Wuyin had assisted him several times already.
Now, behind him, Hong Xuannu stood. Moreover, there was that unknown elderly Supreme Sage of his that was rumored to be his Dao Protector. Observing her aged form as they stepped off the ship, a strangely familiar feeling emerged in his mind. He couldn't quite place it, but it felt as if he should be able to.
Wei Wuyin's silver eyes located Su Yi. After exposing his identity, he no longer used the Alchemic Stars to disguise his origins. In fact, he hoped to draw out other Magi or those tied to them. After all, he was a Magi Royalty. However, Fuxi had left without explaining how to contact other Magi. His only clue was perhaps back in the Onestar Galaxy, waiting for his assistance.
It was unfortunate that Su Yi's Karmic Sky occurred before he could be used as bait. This left him a little exasperated, but that was simply life for you rarely do plans work out exactly as you wish.
"Heaven-Saint Neo-Dawn," Su Yi greeted. The envoy did the same, and his stoic disposition melted, giving up to great reverence.
"Daoist Su," Wei Wuyin faintly smiled in response. Acknowledging the envoy with a quick nod before moving onwards, followed by these three wild women. In a way, they each had their own wildness about them, from beastly to devilishly cunning or vicious, but all gorgeous to an extreme.
"Walk with me," Wei Wuyin invited. Su Yi didn't hesitate, walking shoulder to shoulder without fear. Despite their interactions, he had never thought he was inferior to anyone in this lifetime. The envoy didn't dare to take the lead, standing behind the trio of women. He did, however, transmit spiritually to Pakhet, the publicly known Alchemic Knight, the path to take to arrive at their destination, not daring to send it to Wei Wuyin directly.
Wei Wuyin and Su Yi walked into the palace. It functioned as if an unseen hand was guiding them, opening doors, and leading them through the halls.
"You were invited too, it seems. Do you know why Heaven-Saint Ancient Zenith is seeking us out?" Su Yi probed. He didn't try to speak spiritually.
Wei Wuyin softly chuckled, "It's not for your secrets. If that's what you're worrying about."
Su Yi frowned slightly. "My secrets aren't that precious. If Heaven-Saint Ancient Zeniths wishes to experience what you experienced already, then I would be willing to offer a fair exchange."
Wei Wuyin's left eyebrow lifted upwards, glancing at Su Yi's calm visage. "She would likely kill you if you tried," he stated.
"I would warn her beforehand of all the consequences, just as I did you," Su Yi replied. "And you survived, didn't you?"
Wei Wuyin smiled at that. Su Yi was unaware that his greatest fortune bestowed by the Heavenly Daos, the Wheel of Samsara, had been thoroughly excavated and developed into an Eye of Dao's variant—the Eye of Samsara. He wasn't too cruel.
"You do know that I'm fluent in every language, right?" Wei Wuyin said teasingly, giving him a cunning look.
Su Yi's calm visage began to shake, quaking into one filled with shock. Seeing this, Wei Wuyin added, "That wheel is surprisingly profound. Cultivating it into something of my own took a little bit of effort, but it wasn't too difficult."
"...!!!" Su Yi's heart began to explosively race within his chest. Even his breathing began to grow heavy, slowly shifting his gaze to behold the silver-eyed young emperor before him. For the first time, he felt as if his secrets were exposed before this man.
Without even realizing it, Su Yi had found himself standing before a grand door that led into the meeting room where the Ancient Zenith and the others were. It wasn't simply with the Ancient Zenith as prominent talents, and galactic authorities were present as well. However, his mind was in disarray.
Were the secrets of the Wheel of Samsara genuinely exposed, or was this man playing with him? Within Su Yi, those spirits that accompanied him, bearing a striking resemblance to Spirits of War, echoed out advice and soothing words to console his mind. They had once tried, and failed, to trap Wei Wuyin in a Faux-Resonance Array known as the Cage of Boundless Dreaming.
Standing before the door, paused, Wei Wuyin said, "I wouldn't mind meeting those Spirits of yours. When they're not too scared to do so."
The Seven Greater Spirits of Sky Harbor Mountain, Dai Yangbao, and Wu Yintian shuddered within Su Yi's Mind's Eye. They felt naked and exposed.
Wei Wuyin chuckled heartily, emphasizing: "Especially that Imperial Yin Spirit."
Wu Yintian's spiritual form shook, feeling as if Wei Wuyin's silvery gaze was inescapable.
Su Yi's expression darkened. "When did you—"
"Come in."
A strong yet bewitching voice resounded, enough to generate desires of grand ambition. It was as if the heart, soul, and Spirit of Cultivation could jointly sense a grand opportunity behind the door. The invitation spurred Su Yi's Mystic Soul, causing it to thrum excitedly.
"That's enough chatting for now. Let's go," Wei Wuyin didn't hesitate to push on the door, causing it to swing wide.
The picturesque scene of a gathering of greatness and talent unfolded immediately, especially as the senses were overwhelmed by a heavenly fragrance and air imbued with mystic-heaven grade essence and energy. This was an ideal cultivation venue for any Mystic Ascendant. For every Mystic Ascendant.
The room was spacious, holding over a hundred figures, and among them was a singular focal point that was undeniably attention-grabbing. Wei Wuyin could distinctly remember his first thoughts upon seeing that person's appearance all those years ago, the words he mentally used to describe her.
It was a woman.
And what a woman it was.
Sleek, long, and wavy navy blue hair adorned her head, full and flowing with a healthy, gleaming sheen, at the tip of which were shimmering highlights of the Alchemic Dao's seven unique colors. It cascaded like a miraculous waterfall down her back, almost touching her perfectly round, plump, and curvy rump that was a handful and a half. She was slender, but not skinny; her figure filled out her seven-colored robes with impeccable curves, lending her a voluptuous form that was clearly well-trained and fit.
She wore a large golden belt around her waist, and it accentuated her modest yet shapely breasts. She didn't lack in any department. This included looks. Her countenance was galaxy-toppling, from her big, bold eyebrows, exceptionally light-blue eyes, thin, confident lips, and warm, golden complexion; it was hard to find any imperfections, if there were any.
With some details changed, she was almost exactly the same.
The main difference was her eyes. Those enchanting eyes. Her light-blue eyes were of the Alchemic Stars of Transcendent Purity, and from the purity of their light, Wei Wuyin could confidently say that she was holding back, possessing the Alchemic Stars of Pure Enlightenment, on par with his current Alchemic Stars of Unparalleled Creation in terms of level of Alchemic Dao cultivation.
When she spoke, her voice was deeper, richer, yet the foundation of it was unmistakable. They originated from the same set of vocal chords, only changed by age, experience, authority, and preference of tone.
"Heaven-Saint Neo-Dawn and Daoist Su, I welcome you."
Wei Wuyin smiled. The Blessed, which was a mere Bloodline Clone of Liu Yinlan designed to serve as a key, seemed to have a history and origin that goes far deeper than the Ancient Sealed Regions, akin to his own.
Su Yi returned politely with a cultured clasp of his hands, "And I feel welcomed, Heaven-Saint Neo-Dawn."
"I feel as if I already know you," Wei Wuyin said, adding mentally: 'Tian Xiaolu.' Before continuing verbally with a grin, "So I can't wait to get to know you more."
