Chapter 1203: 360-Degree Surveillance

[Gluttonous Blue Fish] seemed strong on the outside, facing these bystanders that kicked down the door and disrespected her, but she was actually panicking inside.
She remembered those streamers that had used to be so popular half the world knew their names, the streamers who were attacked by the masses after they’d said one wrong word or sentence. The streaming platform had had to shut them down in order to deal with the pressure. Would she have to deal with that even though she wasn’t popular yet?
The thing that she was most confused about was the person who’d leaked all of these out.
It definitely wouldn’t be her, but those small rich people… They wouldn’t be this stupid, right?
“Not me! I didn’t! Stop saying rubbish!” She denied everything from the get-go, but the bystanders didn’t believe it at all.
“This QQ number and Wechat account are yours, aren’t they?”
“It’s her! I checked! The Wechat profile picture and photo album contain her selfies, heavily edited, of course!”
She was stunned, but she insisted on being stubborn. “What a joke! Any Wechat account that has my face as their profile picture is my Wechat account? So then you ugly people can become Leonardo DiCaprio if you all change your profile picture to his face?”
She was using her computer to game and livestream. Her phone was beside her. As she spoke, she quietly went to touch her phone and unlock it, wanting to delete all of her chat records and her photos in her moments as well as change her privacy settings to “friends only.”
Her arm was in the shot in the first place, and it was difficult for the audience to notice when she does anything sneaky. She often replied to her rich fans’ messages while streaming or sneakily turned on cheats while gaming.
“Take note! She’s about to delete her Wechat records!” [Watermelon] commented.
She internally swore. “What the f*ck?”
What was going on? This person had seen? How had they seen?
Her hand had only just touched her phone, and this person had sent a comment at the same time, as though they’d known even before she did it.
No one could type that quickly—unless the person had been typing from the moment she’d moved her hand!
In an instant, all kinds of delusions formed in her mind, like this person had installed a pinhole camera in her room and was watching her every move, or the computer she used to livestream had been hacked.
That… That was impossible, right?
It was only a coincidence. That was right. That was definitely it!
“Rubbish! With which eye did you see me deleting my chat history? I don’t do such useless things! There’s nothing I can’t show the world in my chat history!” She pretended to still be composed.
Her right hand carefully put down her main phone before she purposefully reached out with her left hand, picking up her backup phone and showing it to the camera.
“All you antis shut up! Do you see this? This is my phone! Don’t you want to see my Wechat logs? I’ll unlock it and show you right now!”
Saying this, she unlocked her phone, showing the Wechat main screen to the camera so the bystanders could see everything clearly.
“Even if I deleted my chat records, I wouldn’t be able to delete them so quickly, right? What do you haters have to say now?”
She clicked on each chat one by one, showing that she had nothing to hide. One by one, until she’d showed all of the records before Sihwa had saved someone.
Even though she did it quickly, the audience could still see that every single chat was fine. Even though a few chats were suspiciously flirty, they were still normal. She didn’t proclaim that she had a boyfriend, after all. It was normal to have a few backups on hand.
“I don’t know whose Wechat ID you were referring to before, but it’s not mine. It’s most likely someone among one of you who applied for another Wechat account, changed their profile picture and photos to mine, and used that to defame me! You guys are too much!”
She put down her spare phone in a huff, doing her best to squeeze her eyes so some tears would drop, even wiping the corner of her eyes. Internally, though, she let out a sigh of relief, giving herself a pat on the back for her intelligence.
A portion of the bystanders were understandably swayed in their conviction, some of them agreeing that she was framed, and another person bringing hate onto Sihwa.
“Forget it! You have two phones, and each one of them has a different Wechat account!” [Watermelon] kept sending comments.
“You’re using the spare phone that you use to contact your parents, relatives, classmates, and real-life friends!”
“Your main phone is placed 20 centimeters in front of your right hand. If you dare to, pick it up and show everyone!”
Her heart nearly stopped, the blood rushing away from her face. With how powerful her filter was, she looked just like a sheet of white paper now!
What…what was going on?
Her palms were wet with sweat, her right hand shaking uncontrollably. The main phone, 20 centimeters from her right hand, was just like a ticking time bomb. She didn’t even dare give it one more look.
“You wouldn’t dare to. You will say that there’s no phone at all and sneakily swipe the main phone before picking up the external webcam you have attached to your computer and pointing it at that exact spot on your desk.” [Watermelon] sent another comment.
She swore. This thought had just popped into her head, and before she could even mull over the details of it, this person with the ID [Watermelon] had sent that comment at the same time!
“Who is this person?” she wondered silently. “They not only know every move I was going to make, but even every thought that I have in my brain… This… This must be a monster!”
Sweat started to form on her forehead, but her back was chilly, as though there was some sort of monster watching her with a sickening grin, bony fingers reaching out towards her shoulder, just waiting to strike…
The webcam filmed most of the area of her room behind her form and projected it onto the screen, but the small portion hidden by her body was not visible to her.
No! She couldn’t! She couldn’t turn around to take a look!
She forced herself not to turn back. The moment she did, she would just be proving that she had something to hide. But the feeling that someone was watching her from 360 degrees around was so scary!
She had to think. What could she do? Oh, right! As long as she insisted that there was no phone there, then it should be fine, right?
She couldn’t fall into the other’s trap! Why should she prove that there was no phone there?
Unless that person really did show up in her room, picked up her main phone and showed it to the audience, there was no way to prove that she had two phones at all, was there?
That’s what she would do!
It was daytime right now. There was no such “monster” at all, and she could not let her imagination run wild!
“Hehe! I don’t know what you’re talking about. I only have this one phone, and I don’t have the spare phone you’re talking about…” She laughed, feigning calmness.
In the next second, her laugh stopped abruptly. Another sound started ringing through the room.
It was the phone’s ringtone.
The spare phone’s ringtone sounded first, and then the main phone started ringing as well.
Someone with two phones usually set two different ringtones in order to prevent confusion when calls or messages came in. She was not an exception.
Two different ringtones played in the room.
