Chapter 301 – Dream Messenger

When the Drug Lord came back, he saw Lu Mingshu on the chair and Xie Lianzhen on the bed, staring at each other fiercely, as if they were unhappy with each other.

“You’re awake?” He took Xie Lianzhen’s arm and gasped. “It’s all gone!”

“Sorry for worrying you.” Xie Lianzhen smiled thinly.

“Hahaha, it’s successful after all. I have been worrying for nothing.” The Drug Lord turned to Lu Mingshu. “Girl, what’s with…?”

Lu Mingshu blinked. “It started to disappear after you left for half an hour. Within two hours, it was all gone.”

“Oh, is that so?” The Drug Lord stared at her blankly. “What about you? Why didn’t you show such a reaction?”

He finally asked a legitimate question, huh? “I’ve taken anti-toxins ever since I was a child, so I have stronger resistance to poisons compared to others.”

“Oh, I see.” The Drug Lord laughed, not even suspecting her. “That means there’s nothing wrong with my method, I just need to find a way to increase the resistance to the poison! Ahahaha, I’m indeed a genius.”

Lu Mingshu glared at him. “So you got him to kidnap someone here again? Aren’t you worried that he would harm more innocent people?”
