Chapter 1030: Chapter 1247: Xerneas?

A pure Fairy-type First-class Legendary—Julian suddenly thought the name of a certain First-class Legendary.

"It can't be that coincidental, can it?" Julian muttered.

There were only two First-class Legendaries with a pure Fairy Typing, so the one they were dealing with might very well be the one Julian was thinking of.

As they moved forward, the Fairy-type energy grew increasingly dense. Back at the edge, Metagross and the others could still sense a trace of other energies.

But now, they couldn't feel any energy apart from the Fairy-type, and being here made them feel exceptionally uncomfortable and suppressed.

The only ones unaffected were Jirachi and Deoxys.

So Julian recalled Metagross and Celebi back into their Poké Balls; otherwise, the deeper they went, the more unbearable it would become for them.

There were only two First-class Legendaries with a pure Fairy Typing: one was Xerneas, and the other was Zacian.

Julian had guessed earlier that it might be Xerneas, and sure enough, he had been right.

"This guy is sleeping like a log. It doesn't even know guests have arrived. What if we were bad guys? Its vigilance is terrible—really embarrassing for us First-class Legendaries."

Deoxys: 'Please stop talking. You know perfectly well who the real embarrassment is.'

Jirachi flew out from Julian's arms, wanting to poke the other party, but was immediately grabbed and held back by Julian.

'Don't even think about it.' If they woke it up and it turned out to have a bad temper when roused, wouldn't it end up fighting them?

"It has a protective barrier around it. Don't tell me you can't see it?"

Julian felt that Jirachi had truly been spoiled useless by him.

"Alright, Deoxys, do you want to take a picture with Xerneas too?"

Just as Julian was about to put his phone away, he suddenly remembered Deoxys was still beside him.

"No need," Deoxys said, quickly shaking its head.

Are you kidding? Did they think it was as reckless as the two of them? Watching Julian and Jirachi taking photos had already made Deoxys nervous.

It was afraid that Xerneas might suddenly wake up.

"You really are a bit of a coward."

Seeing Deoxys's reaction, Julian immediately understood that it was scared and couldn't help but give it a look of disdain. His Pokémon could have any flaw—but fear wasn't one of them.

What was there to panic about? The real danger hadn't even been set in motion yet.

But Julian didn't linger. After taking photos and leaving a few things for Xerneas, he left directly.

He still had to explore this Top-tier secret realm, so he didn't want to waste more time here.

Not long after he left, the slumbering Xerneas slowly opened its eyes, looking in the direction Julian had gone, with a hint of curiosity on its face.

So this was the interesting human that Mew had mentioned. There were traces of several First-class Legendaries' auras on him—and Xerneas could even sense the aura of its old rival, Yveltal.

And that Gengar—there was actually a small portion of Yveltal's Death Essence inside it. Truly surprising.

And also… this thing.

Lowering its head, it looked at the food Julian had left before departing.

Was he worried that it might wake up hungry?

Xerneas smiled inwardly, then picked up a Pokéblock and ate it. Its eyes immediately narrowed slightly.

The taste was really good—no wonder Mew liked it so much, even to the point of letting this human pet it until its head nearly went bald, yet still not wanting to leave.
