Chapter 1035: Outside
Chapter 1035: Outside
Outside the Primal Secret Realm, it had been more than half a year since Julian entered, yet discussions about the Primal Secret Realm in the outside world still hadn’t died down.
Everyone was curious about what might be inside the world’s first Primal Secret Realm.
Internationally, the condemnation of Drakoria by various nations still hadn’t ended, all because Drakoria’s actions were seen as too domineering.
The Primal Secret Realm was clearly discovered in the middle of the Western Ocean, but Regigigas was somehow coaxed by Julian into pulling the realm from the Western Ocean to Drakoria’s waters.
In an instant, what was once accessible to all became exclusive to Drakoria’s trainers.
Despite all the condemnation, Drakoria remained completely unfazed. If you had the ability, then come and fight—see whether I would beat you or not.
Moreover, Drakoria had allies of its own. Those nations condemning Drakoria didn’t even need Drakoria to intervene—led by Pannar, its allies directly clashed with them in heated exchanges.
What was rather surprising, though, was that Celestria wasn’t among them.
As the nation most opposed to Drakoria, Celestria was unusually quiet this time—not only refraining from condemnation online but even speaking favorably of Drakoria.
What they were thinking, could the Drakorian Elders Council not know?

> "It’s been over half a year since Champion Walker went in; why hasn’t he come out yet?"
> "I really want to go in too. Champion Walker’s approach is too selfish—how can he go in alone?"
> "If you had Champion Walker’s strength, would you let others go in first?"
> "Without Champion Walker, would this Primal Secret Realm even belong to Drakoria?"
> "So what? The capable should bear more responsibility, but Julian’s actions are just too selfish."
---
Since Julian had monopolized the entire Primal Secret Realm, not only did various countries had issues with him, but even some prominent families within Drakoria held considerable grievances against Julian.
Yet they also knew that the Walker family had always operated with a domineering style. Though they dared not speak out, they secretly reached out to the other Champions of Drakoria.
They hoped these Champions would unite and pressure the Walker family, thinking this might force the Walkers to compromise, allowing them to enter earlier without waiting for Julian to emerge.
But not a single Champion agreed. The Walker family’s current status in the country was all too clear.
Even without Julian’s Reshiram and Zekrom, the Walker family’s three Champions alone were enough to secure a unique and unparalleled position for them in Drakoria.
At the entrance to the Primal Secret Realm, ever since Julian entered, John and Jake had been guarding the gate, with a large number of military forces stationed around it.
Under this kind of might, who would dare to force their way in?
"Dad, it’s been over half a year, and that brat still hasn’t come out. I don’t think there’s anything for me to do here. Maybe I should head home first."
Jake sprawled lazily in his fishing chair. Although he could still fish here, fishing in the same spot for more than half a year had long since become boring.
Drakoria had already constructed a sizable artificial continent around the gate of the Primal Secret Realm, roughly the size of a county town.
After all, the gate stood above the sea. In the future, as the secret realm was developed, it would be extremely inconvenient if there was no place to set foot nearby.
So using this time Drakoria built this town-sized landmass. It might not be the sturdiest, but its load-bearing capacity was sufficient—it wouldn’t break unless battles at the Elite-level erupted here.
Numerous construction workers and Pokémon bustled about, with buildings rising one after another.
"If you dare go back, I’ll break your legs," John retorted, irritated by Jake’s lazy demeanor. "If it weren’t for you giving birth to my dear grandson, I’d have broken your legs right now."
"Fine, fine, I know the greatest achievement of my life was having that unfilial brat," Jake shrugged indifferently.
This exchange had become a near-daily routine between him and John, so he was already used to it.
After all, John was all talk—if he really meant it, Jake’s legs would’ve been broken hundreds of times by now.
"Dad, what kind of treasures do you think that kid will find inside?" Jake asked curiously.
"Two or three Ultimate treasures, at least," John speculated.
"That many!" Jake exclaimed in surprise.
Ultimate treasures were something most trainers never laid eyes on in their entire lives. If a trainer obtained one, they’d have a real shot at becoming a Champion.
So, two or three Ultimate treasures were indeed a considerable haul.
"Is it really that many?" John glanced at Jake dismissively.
"Alright, for that brat, it probably isn’t much," Jake rubbed his nose sheepishly.
Thanks to his son, both he and John had received Ultimate treasures from Julian—more than one, in fact. Otherwise, Jake would’ve had to wait several more years to become a Champion.
Of course, the opportunity in Babath had also been crucial.
As family members, it was only natural for Julian to give his grandfather and father a few Ultimate treasures to enhance their strength.
Although Julian didn’t have many Ultimate treasures himself, if he really thought about it, it didn’t seem like he was lacking either.
As long as he had the Dowsing Machine in hand, sooner or later, the number of Ultimate treasures he possessed would surpass a hundred, two hundred, or even three hundred.
"How many Ultimate treasures did my good grandson give you?" John asked curiously.
"Three," Jake held up three fingers, looking quite smug.
"I got five."
John said with a calm expression, but the faint trace of disdain in his eyes was hard to conceal.
"That unfilial brat! I’m his father, and he gave me so few!" Jake’s previously joyful mood instantly soured upon hearing this.
As soon as he finished speaking, John smacked him on the back of the head.
"I’m your father too, so why can’t I have more than you? These were given to me out of my dear grandson’s filial piety. And giving you three, I think that’s already too many!"
John looked at Jake with contempt, having originally thought it would be two at most, but his good grandson had given three. Yet here Jake was, still complaining even after receiving three Ultimate treasures.
"Dad, it’s biting, it’s biting!"
Just as Jake was about to say something more, he suddenly noticed the float on the sea surface shaking violently. Immediately forgetting his argument with John, he hurriedly lifted the fishing rod.
"This is a big one!"
Watching the fishing rod bend into a crescent shape, the pulling force in his hands filled Jake with delight. The fishing line made a splashing sound as it cut through the seawater.
"I wonder what it’ll be," Jake said, gripping the rod with anticipation.
"What else could it be? A Magikarp," John replied.
During this time, he had watched Jake fish every day, and over ninety percent of the catches were Magikarp. Jake had even reeled in a white, shiny Magikarp.
"A Magikarp is fine too. With this strength, if it really is a Magikarp, it must weigh at least three or four hundred pounds. Dad, your rod seems to have a bite too!"
Having spent so much time here, John had grown bored, so Jake taught him how to fish. Although he hadn’t fully pulled him into the hobby, he had allowed John to experience the joy of fishing.
John looked and saw that his rod indeed had a bite—it was even bending. Luckily, it was firmly planted; otherwise, the fish might have dragged it away.
