Seeing that Julian had actually agreed to its condition, Kyurem suddenly became uncertain again. After all, from its perspective, it had deliberately made things difficult for Julian.

Yet the human had accepted without hesitation.

'Could this human possibly have a First-class Legendary even stronger than Zekrom and Reshiram?'

The thought couldn't help but arise in its mind.

"What? Don't tell me the great First-class Legendary Kyurem is going to go back on its word, no way, right?"

Julian could naturally see that Kyurem was hesitating. Seriously, this guy was way too calculating.

He had met quite a few First-class Legendaries by now, but this was the first one he had encountered with such a thought process.

Just because he had agreed too readily, Kyurem had immediately started feeling uneasy.

Watching the human's exaggerated expressions and words, Kyurem became even more convinced that he was definitely up to something.

"Oh right, there's something called a satellite above our heads right now. Ever since you appeared, it's been filming us from up there."

"Right now, people all over the world are watching us."

"So if you go back on your word, then everyone in the world will know that Kyurem is a First-class Legendary who doesn't keep its word, a First-class Legendary with zero credibility."

Even Julian could sense a feeling of being watched, so naturally Kyurem, as a First-class Legendary, could too—it simply hadn't cared because the feeling posed no threat whatsoever.

Only now did it understand where that sensation had come from—so it was from something called a satellite.

"Really?"

Kyurem's expression stiffened slightly upon hearing that.

"You can treat it as a lie if you want. After all, whether to take the bet is entirely up to you. If you don't want to, I can hardly force you, can I?" Julian shrugged, looking completely unconcerned.

Just then, Zekrom suddenly spoke up, "You're still the same as ever, shameless, disgracing us First-class Legendaries. Just give a straight answer—are you betting or not?"

Its tone carried obvious mockery.

In the past, whenever it met Reshiram, the two of them would immediately start fighting without wasting any words.

But when it came to Kyurem, this guy would always badmouth Reshiram in front of it. So back then Zekrom had thought Kyurem disliked Reshiram just as much as it did.

Only now did it realize that when Kyurem was with Reshiram, it had probably been badmouthing it as well.

"Let's... fight!"

Provoked by Zekrom like that, Kyurem found it impossible to continue hesitating—besides, it cared about its pride too.

If footage of it going back on its word was really made public, how was it supposed to hold its head up among the other First-class Legendaries in the future?

"Where's my opponent?"

"No rush, it's already on its way."

"Oh look, isn't it here already?"

Julian pointed overhead as he spoke.

As the clouds parted, a slender, emerald-green figure slowly descended from within them before quietly stopping in front of Julian.

The moment the higher-ups of every nation saw that Pokémon, their expressions changed drastically.

"Rayquaza!"

Inside the conference room, the Fifth Elder abruptly stood up from his chair and exclaimed in shock, "When did Champion Walker summon Rayquaza? He wasn't even at the Sky Altar!"

The other Elders and Champions were equally bewildered.

Rayquaza was the only First-class Legendary that Drakoria could summon.

However, the summoner had to be a Champion, and the summoning had to be performed through the Sky Altar—and the price was that Champion's life.

The only other countries known to possess similar methods of summoning a First-class Legendary were Celestria and Volkaria.

These three nations had each used such a summoning ritual during times of national crisis, so there were historical records documenting the process.

As for whether other countries possessed similar methods, no one knew.

From the moment Julian left the Land of Extreme Ice until he reached the skies above the Eastern Ocean, satellites had monitored him the entire time, yet none of them had seen how he had supposedly summoned Rayquaza.

And more importantly... when had Julian even established a connection with Rayquaza?

The Elders and Champions all turned to look at John, and even James looked toward his younger brother.

"Why are you all staring at me? How would I know what's going on? My dear grandson has plenty of tricks up his sleeve—how are you people still not used to it by now?"

John sat calmly in his chair, looking completely unsurprised.

And after hearing him say that, everyone felt it actually made a certain amount of sense.

Since even John claimed not to know, they stopped asking further questions.

After all, even if he did know, they doubted he would tell them.

Rayquaza had been summoned by Julian using the Rayquaza Summoning Card. The summon would only last for ten minutes, and the card had been one of the rewards from completing a previous Main Mission.

Julian had never used this summon card—at first, he had been reluctant to use it, later there was no opportunity, and by now, the card had become something of little consequence to him, something he could take or leave.

So this was the perfect chance to use it—against Kyurem.

Otherwise, after another few years, the card would probably become completely useless to him.

By now, both Zekrom and Reshiram had already surpassed Rayquaza in level, reaching the peak of the First-class Legendary tier.

So with the two of them already at his side, the Rayquaza Summon Card really wasn't all that significant to him anymore.

Driven by curiosity, Kyogre began swimming toward Rayquaza's location, wanting to see just what that oversized Caterpie was up to.

Why had it suddenly appeared here? And looking at this human, it felt an unusually strong sense of closeness, a desire to protect him.

It even had the urge to become his Pokémon.

"Rayquaza, I'll be counting on you. Seven minutes should be enough for you to beat it, right?"

This was Julian's first time seeing Rayquaza this close, and he couldn't help but look it over from head to tail.
