Chapter 847: Chapter 1064: Tyranitar

After giving up on the Holm of Trials' Ultimate treasure, the Desert Heart, Julian had lost any real interest in this area. As it was highly unlikely that a second Ultimate treasure would appear here.

However, he still had to fully explore the Holm of Trials because his map required complete coverage of all regions.

He planned to give this map to his grandfather and father later, so thorough exploration was essential. If any danger befell them while exploring this area due to his own laziness, Julian would never forgive himself.

During his exploration, Julian came across several oases. Though these were not formed by a Desert Heart but occurred naturally.

However, they were much smaller in scale compared to the oasis shaped by the Desert Heart. Their water source were also considerably smaller, and the lushness of their greenery couldn't match that of the Desert Heart's oasis.

Yet, every oasis was a sacred land in the hearts of Pokémon in the desert, a fundamental lifeline for survival in this harsh environment.

Plop, plop—

Just as they were drinking water, several objects suddenly fell from the sky.

The Water-type Pokémon in the lake looked up angrily at the sky but saw nothing. Helpless, they fished out the things that had just landed in the water.

'What is this?!'

The shape was so strange.

Holding a cylindrical object in its claws, the Crawdaunt looked puzzled. It had never seen anything like this before.

'Could it be food?'

At that thought, its eyes lit up slightly. It promptly stuffed the cylinder into its mouth, only to spit it out the very next second.

'Not food—damn it, this is just trash!'

'Who threw this? Don't they know you shouldn't litter in an oasis?!'

The Crawdaunt roared in frustration, but the litterer was long gone.

"Celebi, I think the soda cans we just dropped fell into the oasis. Won't they pollute it?" Jirachi asked worriedly.

It had seen the educational programs saying some trash took centuries to decompose.

"Relax, relax, it's fine. They're just two soda cans—how much pollution can they cause? Besides, they're metal, not plastic or batteries. Don't worry about it."

Celebi waved a hand dismissively, looking completely unconcerned. Littering? No big deal—it wasn't the first time. And it had learned this from humans.

As the saying went, one took on the color of one's company. Back when it had still been living in the forest, it had been so kind, naive, and innocent. But after Julian dragged it out…

Only then this fun life began! Sigh—why hadn't Julian come earlier?

"Meta~"

While riding on Dragonite, Julian heard Metagross suddenly call out from beside him.

"What's up?" Julian asked.

Metagross: "The aura below should belong to the overlord of this desert—that Tyranitar."

Hearing that, Julian became a little interested. After all, he also had a Tyranitar, so he patted Dragonite's back and said, "Let's go down and have a look."

On a side note; as Dragonite reached the Champion-level, Julian now had five personally trained Champion tier Pokémon, completing the fifth stage of his Main Quest.

The rewards he received were: 500,000 points and a Level One Legendary Rayquaza Summon Card (10 minutes).

There was no need to talk about the points, but Julian was quite pleased with the Rayquaza summon card. Even though it only lasted ten minutes, ten minutes of a First-class Legendary going all out would be enough to wipe out an entire country.

Now, besides Zekrom and Reshiram, he had another trump card up his sleeve.

As Dragonite descended, a furious roar immediately followed.

"Tyr!"

Accompanied by heavy footsteps, a Tyranitar strode straight toward Julian and his team.

A level 88 Tyranitar—late-stage Pseudo-Champion. Its strength was indeed formidable, worthy of being the overlord of the Holm of Trials.

A wild, ferocious aura emanated from it, and its gaze held no fear as it looked at Metagross and Dragonite.

You had to know that Metagross and Dragonite had not restrained their auras at all—in other words, Tyranitar knew perfectly well that they were Champions.

Yet, not only was it unafraid, it was blatantly releasing its own aura—clearly a provocative move.

This probably had something to do with the inherent nature of the Tyranitar line.

With their notoriously short tempers, the concept of fear held little meaning for them. Once enraged, they could shatter mountains, alter river courses, essentially becoming walking map-altering machines.

A Poké Ball at Julian's waist began to shake.

The next second, his Tyranitar burst out of its Poké Ball.

Pop!

"Tar!"

Julian's Tyranitar also let out a roar.

Compared to his Totem Tyranitar, the opposing Tyranitar stood less than half its height. It looked... well, rather petite and mini-sized.

The opposing Tyranitar froze for a moment, staring blankly at Julian's Tyranitar. It had never seen such a handsome, tall, and majestic male of its species.

Instantly, its aura softened. Its fierce gaze turned gentle, even seeming to hold a hint of bashfulness?

"Something seems off here..."

Julian noticed the change in the other Tyranitar's demeanor. What's with the coy act? Where did all that earlier dominance go?

Then Julian watched as the Tyranitar walked up to his own, looked up at it, and even its normally fierce facial expression seemed to soften considerably.

"Don't tell me it's fallen for my Tyranitar?" Julian said in surprise.

"Very likely," Celebi chimed in enthusiastically from atop Julian's head.

Jirachi's eyes also sparkled. "So are they going to kiss?"

"Tar!"

But what happened next completely caught Julian off guard. His Tyranitar actually swatted the female Tyranitar away with a slap.

Tyranitar: "Don't get so close. It disgusts me."

Gasp—

Julian, Celebi, and Jirachi all drew in sharp breaths of surprise.

Tyranitar actually hit it? And called it disgusting?

"This… this…"

Julian was so shocked he couldn't even finish his sentence.

He couldn't help but wonder: Could that Tyranitar be considered unattractive among its kind, like a human deemed less beautiful?

To Julian, all Tyranitar looked the same. But from a Tyranitar's perspective, every female Tyranitar must look different.

So, judging by his Tyranitar's words, it probably found the other one… not pleasing to look at?
