Chapter 869: Chapter 1086: Main Quest Completed

"My dear grandson!"

Just as Julian was about to continue boasting to Lilligant about his lofty status in the outside world, a familiar voice came from above.

Looking up, he saw his grandfather riding his Metagross and arriving right in front of him.

Lilligant, seeing the sudden appearance of the Metagross, immediately became alert. This was the outside world—and although it trusted Julian, basic vigilance was still necessary.

"It's fine, this is my grandfather," Julian quickly explained.

Lilligant nodded, though its gaze remained fixed on John's Metagross.

John, meanwhile, looked at the completely golden, regional-variant Lilligant with astonishment and asked, "Is this a new Pokémon you have captured?"

"No, Lilligant is my friend. It's the ruler of the Crimson Mirelands," Julian clarified.

Because of Julian, John and the others already knew that this Primal Secret Realm housed five King-form Pokémon, and their most distinctive feature was their golden appearance.

Just like the Lilligant before him.

John immediately understood what Julian meant. So this Lilligant was one of those King-form Pokémon.

His gaze grew even more curious.

Previously, when they had entered the Primal Secret Realm, due to the erosion of the realm's energy, they had only managed to barely explore the Horseshoe Plains. Reaching the Grandtree Arena would have taken an unknown amount of time.

"So why did it come out with you?"

Earlier, Julian had told them that King-form Pokémon couldn't be captured.

But now this one had come out with him. Could it be that he had truly managed to win it over with his personal charm?

Capturing a Pokémon didn't necessarily require a Poké Ball. If one's charisma was strong enough, a Pokémon might just decide to follow you on its own.

For most Pokémon, a Poké Ball was really just a place to rest and sleep.

"Lilligant loves to dance, and it wanted to see what dancing is like in the outside world, so it came out with me," Julian explained.

Hearing that, John nodded in understanding.

Although he felt a bit regretful that it wasn't because of his grandson's charm that it had chosen to follow him, at least it was clear that the two of them had a pretty good relationship.

Soon John's attention shifted to Lucario.

"Hahaha, Lucario's a Champion now. Congratulations!"

Lucario had just broken through, and the aura of a Champion emanating from it was extremely obvious. John couldn't help but chuckle cheerfully as he made the remark.

"Luca~"

Lucario nodded in acknowledgment.

With Lucario's breakthrough to the Champion tier, Julian had completed the final stage of his first Main Quest.

---

Metagross, Moltres, Gengar, Aggron, Dragonite, and Lucario—at this moment, Julian now possessed six Champion-level Pokémon.

One million points, two Golden Legends, Shiny Rayquaza summon card and the lifespan increase had all been credited.

His heart stirred with a slight tremor of excitement.

Golden Legend x2 wasn't the same as Golden Legend Fragments x2; this was a complete item. This meant Julian could elevate the potential of two of his Pokémon from Purple to Gold.

That was the potential of a First-class Legendary.

And then there was the Shiny Rayquaza Summon Card, even if it was only for ten minutes.

He also still had the standard Rayquaza Summon Card from the fifth stage reward.

If he ever got the chance, summoning both Rayquazas at once—now that would be a scene truly worthy of the history books.

After all, First-class Legendaries had never appeared in shiny form before, and each was supposed to be unique.

The appearance of two Rayquazas would absolutely shatter human understanding of First-class Legendaries.

"At 26, my dear grandson, already has six Champion-level Pokémon. That old man Duke had only just become an Elite at your age."

John patted Julian on the shoulder, his eyes brimming with gratification and pride.

If he were to die and go down to meet the ancestors, he could damn well stand tall and talk back to them now.

"How about Grandpa opens a separate family genealogy book for you—first page, first line, your name?"

John recalled scrolling through TikTok recently, where a blogger had said that if he became an Elite, his family would open a new genealogy book just for him.

Given his good grandson's achievements, opening a separate genealogy for him really did seem reasonable.

Seeing his grandfather so happy that he was almost losing rationality, Julian felt amused, but still said, "Grandpa, if you really do that, Dad will break my legs."

"He dares? I'll remove that brat from the family tree entirely!" John barked.

Julian smiled, then asked, "Grandpa, did anything happen while I was inside?"

John waved his hand dismissively. "What could possibly happen? Though Primal Secret Realms have appeared in Celestria, Anglia, and Volkaria."

"Mm, that's to be expected. More Primal Secret Realms should appear later."

Julian wasn't surprised. There was absolutely no way there was only one Primal Secret Realm—more should appear over time.

Primal Secret Realms were divided into two types: concealed and non-concealed.

The one behind Julian was a concealed type, requiring Regigigas to pull it out. While the non-concealed ones simply appeared directly.

He had thought there would be more concealed ones, but it seemed that wasn't the case.

Currently, there was one concealed realm and three non-concealed ones.

Julian wasn't interested in the other three Primal Secret Realms for now though. After all, he hadn't even finished exploring the one behind him yet—he'd only covered about two-fifths of it.

"Grandpa, don't worry about them. Although Primal Secret Realms represent opportunities, they're also extremely dangerous. Even if they do gain something, they won't be a match for me," Julian said confidently.

He had simply too many trump cards now.

Never mind Zekrom and Reshiram; the two Rayquaza summon cards alone were enough to handle the vast majority of crises. Plus, he could summon Mewtwo, Kyogre, and Solgaleo. There was also a Regigigas sleeping in his backyard.

He held Jirachi in his arms, as well as the future First-class Legendary, Nebby.

Counting it up—there were already ten First-class Legendaries connected to him, even more than his number of Champion-level Pokémon.

After listing them all out, even Julian was startled. He hadn't realized that, without even knowing it, he had somehow tied himself to so many First-class Legendaries.

Being this awesome and still not having taken over the world just proved he really had no ambition.

Maybe, deep down, he actually just wanted to be a salted-fish?
