"Do we get Pokéblocks like this every year?"

After finishing the entire box of Pokéblocks, Deoxys found that their effect was exactly as the Black Dragon had described—they were indeed very beneficial to it.

The condition for completing the "Pokéblock Envoy" mission was to spend a total of 10 million points on System Shop Pokéblocks.

So without even realizing it, he'd already spent 10 million points just on Pokéblocks.

No wonder his points had been accumulating so slowly.

But now, with his Pokéblock costs cut in half, he'd be able to save a huge amount of points going forward.

He had just been feeling the sting of spending three million points on the Psychic Crystal.

And immediately afterward, good news arrived.

Grinning, Julian gently pinched Jade's soft cheek.

Julian took out a Poké Ball and tossed it toward Deoxys. Without any resistance, it was drawn inside.

Picking up the Poké Ball, Julian suddenly remembered a certain iconic pose. Facing the phone, he struck the pose and declared:

"I've caught Deoxys!"

"Meta!"

Metagross appeared behind him and, for some inexplicable reason, let out a cry.

The moment it did, Metagross was completely dumbfounded.

What had come over it? Why had it mimicked that silly gesture?

"Brother is so cool!"

Jade clapped excitedly.

"Heh heh, just so-so."

Julian grinned smugly.

But when he glanced at the livestream comments, his face stiffened.

> "I stopped saying stuff like that in kindergarten."

"What do you guys know? This pose is going to be totally popular one day," Julian insisted.

And he wasn't wrong.

The very next day, TikTok was flooded with videos of people imitating Julian's catching pose—goofy and hilarious.

A new comment popped up:

> "Champion Walker, aren't you worried Deoxys might turn on you? The way you captured it was… kind of unusual."

Other viewers quickly echoed the concern.

> "Yeah, Deoxys is still dangerous. Even with the Black and White Dragons around, if it truly harbors bad intentions, you wouldn't see it coming."

> "So I suggest sending Deoxys to me instead."

Seeing the last comment, Julian chuckled.

"No need to worry. Compared to humans, Pokémon are far more trustworthy—especially First-class Legendaries. Their character is absolutely reliable."

"From now on, Deoxys will also become one of my most trusted partners."

Julian held the Poké Ball containing Deoxys. As he spoke, the ball gently shook, as if responding to him.

You might not be able to trust your parents, your children, your spouse, or your friends—but you could always trust your Pokémon.

In this world, anyone might betray you for the sake of profit, but your Pokémon never would.

That was why even many ill-tempered or morally flawed humans were still incredibly kind to their own Pokémon.

If someone even mistreated their own Pokémon, then that person no longer deserved to be called human—because at that point, there wasn't a single redeeming quality left in them.

And so, a potential disaster was effortlessly prevented by Julian, who also gained a First-class Legendary and a Champion-level Pokémon in the process.

He returned to Henry's house with the still-unconscious Deoxys.

Counting the time it took to travel there and back, the whole ordeal took less than an hour.

The Poké Ball containing Deoxys opened.

"What's wrong? Not used to being inside?" Julian asked.

Deoxys nodded.

Though the space inside the Poké Ball was large, it still felt somewhat confined.

But Julian could tell there was another reason it had come out.

"Don't worry. Your companion will probably wake up in a few days. Jade already likes it a lot."

Julian gestured toward Jade, who was currently squatting beside the unconscious Deoxys and whispering to it.

"Deoxys, I'm Jade. From now on, you'll be my guardian Pokémon. Even though I really like Grandpa's Alakazam too, but you're the one big brother found for me."

"So I like you even more."

"You have to wake up soon. Then we can play together and watch Jirachi and Celebi make trouble."

Jirachi and Celebi both silently protested.

They absolutely did not cause any trouble.

Jade spoke softly, as if afraid of waking the sleeping Deoxys.

As for the Alakazam she mentioned—yes, that was the guardian Pokémon John had originally given to Julian. But as Julian grew stronger, Alakazam's role naturally diminished.

So Julian returned Alakazam to John.

When Alakazam had first followed Julian, it had been at the peak of Elite-level. And by the time it returned to John, it had already reached the Pseudo-Champion tier.

Julian had never mistreated it—he had given it the exact same treatment as his own Pokémon.

Now, Alakazam had reached the early-stage Champion tier.

Having a Champion-level Pokémon constantly protecting Jade showed just how cherished this little princess was in the Walker family.

But now, Julian had found her an even stronger guardian in Deoxys, so Alakazam could finally retire.

Alakazam: 'You Walker family people have no gratitude—especially you, little Jade. What do you mean you like the one big brother gave you more? Don't forget—I was the one who protected him while he was growing up!'
