Chapter 1003: Taming Quest (14) [Bonus]

"So that is why I am here..." Kent said, looking at Ignarok, "What do you think? Do you want to join my campaign?"

Ignarok turns and looks at the six traitors who brought a calamity to his domain and asks, "Haven’t you losers... I mean, monarchs told him who he would be going against?"

Sylvara shrugs and turns away.

Phoenix Queen Vey smirked and chose not to answer simply because she only had insult in her mouth.

Zeraphine smiles and smirks.

Kaelith looked at Ignarok with brotherly eyes.

Orvath sighs and bends his head.

Balrion, however, smiled and said, "He is already aware, but you see what he can do, so perhaps he can kill him for good where we failed."

"What a blockhead." Ignarok chuckled, but Balrion said nothing despite being called a blockhead. He is used to Ignarok’s taunts and arrogance.

"Do you all think that bastard is simple? In case you are not aware, then let me tell you... He only allowed us to live because he needed our blood essence."

This time, the six monarchs became alert, some even suspecting that Ignarok’s words were true. They long thought about why the planet king let them live back there.

"Back when we faced him, he let us live because, as we all know, the forsaken race grows stronger by devouring the blood essence of others.

He wanted our blood essence, so he let us live. But that isn’t even what we should be concerned about.

Back then, while you losers were choking on your filthy blood, I had words with him, and from what he said, it appeared he only used 30% of his power to suppress us.

It turned out that the Supreme Energy in his bloodline is very dense. And as we all know, the Supreme Tiger Clan are renowned for their combat abilities and extremely dangerous bloodline powers

So tell me, do you really think this perhaps has what it takes to kill someone like that?"

"Yes."

Sylvara answered, a smile gracing her lips.

Kent blew her a kiss, which made Ignarok grit his teeth.

"You think this is funny?"

"Nobody said anything is funny. However, what makes you think that idiot has what it takes to measure up to me?" Kent chuckled and scanned the faces of the Monarchs staring at him.

"I think it is time you all know who I really am."

Hearing him, they all started to pay attention...

Kent smiled, knowing that telling them was the only way to win their trust and open more benefits for both their sake.

"All this talk about divine, supreme, and celestial beasts is just concepts used by people to show the hierarchy of power. They wish to use that hierarchy to suppress the weak.

In my eyes, it is but a useless scale," Kent smirked, causing the divine beasts around him to feel insulted. However, they said nothing...

Continue to listen to Kent...

"During the Primordial Era, beasts are known by how strong they are, not by their rank or their bloodline. I was but an ordinary boy with no parents or siblings.

As a young dragon, I was constantly at the mercy of those who claimed they were a great family with legacies stretching thousands of years.

Due to this, even a useless heir was able to look down on me. They had the power to ridicule and command me around. At first, I respected the hierarchy simply because it was a part of the culture.

However, one day, I said no, and so I decided to chase after strength, for I believe that with strength, nothing is impossible to achieve.

That was when the Primordial Chaos Dragon was born."

Everyone except Sylvara narrowed their eyes, looking at Kent.

Kent ignored their scrutiny and activated his bloodline. Then he lit his Chaos flame...

"In my eyes, strength is what matters, and as such, I believe I have what it takes to kill someone you all label as a Supreme Beast.

Or, do you Monarchs think a mere Tiger has what it takes to fight the Primordial Chaos Dragon?"

Perhaps hearing him say he is the primordial chaos dragon made them feel skeptical, but looking at the flame in his hand—a flame that legends speak of as the most dangerous in existence—lit before them, they knew deep in their bloodline that they were indeed in the presence of the Primordial Chaos Dragon.

This caused them to have immense respect for him. Kent could hear beeping sounds in his head, telling him their trust level was increasing at a rapid pace.

"I don’t understand," Zeraphine said and then asked, "I thought you died during the Great War."

The monarchs nodded, even Sylvara included.

Kent smiled and answered, "Death, as they say, is the beginning of a new life." He laughed.

"I died, that is true, but I wasn’t completely dead."

"I don’t understand," Vey asked, and Kent nodded.

"It is indeed complex; even I don’t completely understand why I am here today. However, I believe after recovering the memories of all my lives, I will get the answer."

"Wait, you have lived other lives?" Sylvara asked, her heartbeat increasing at a rapid pace. "Are you saying you have undergone a True Reincarnation multiple times?"

"I don’t know what that meant, but yes." Kent put on a smug smile, "I believe you all have heard of Lord Genesis."

"No way... Don’t tell me you were the father of swordsmen, the Divine Sword, the Genesis Swordsman, the Heir of the Sword Dao..." Orvath continued to list names, causing Kent to blush.𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

"I didn’t know I had that many names, but yes, that was me too. Also, I was the Faceless Assassin, too."

This time, all seven monarchs paled at the sound of him saying he was the infamous Faceless Assassin.

If Lord Genesis was the idol of many, then the Faceless Assassin was a danger nobody would see coming until it was too late.

To add to their shock, Kent put on the face of one of the people he had killed. This completely convinced them.

"Although I am not even a sliver of who I was back then yet, I believe when the time comes, this so-called Planet King wouldn’t know what hit him."

They all nodded.

Ignarok, on the other hand, went down on his knees and bowed, his forehead touching the ground,

"Forgive me, Lord Chaos. I was but a child who failed to recognize the ancestor’s greatness. Please give me a chance to atone for my sins... please, Lord Chaos."

It was already a known fact that every last dragon in existence claimed their ancestry came from the Primordial Chaos Dragon.

Perhaps it was because of that that many dragons, if not all, are so arrogant.

After all, during the Primordial Era, the Chaos Dragon was the supreme authority, and those who descended from him, as they claim, appeared powerful.

Kent watched Ignarok, and while he didn’t want to feel big, his bloodline made him smirk, but thankfully, his human side pulled him back...

"No need to ask for forgiveness, Ignarok, we are dragons, and it is in our blood not to lower our heads to anyone." Kent smiled, "I would have been disappointed if you lowered your head to me before learning who I was."

Ignarok smiled, hearing the compliment in Kent’s words.

"However, now that you know who I am, become my subordinate and aid me in conquering this so-called Planet King for good."

"I will do as you say, Lord Chaos."

"Very well." Kent smirked, "Let’s get right on it then."
