Chapter 1033: Flame Core Formation (2) [Bonus]

"So pure"

Kent appeared in a large room filled with an overwhelming amount of pure flame energy. There was something akin to a water pool at the center; however, as he looked at it, he could see it was actually a pool of fire.

"So pure," Kent said again as he walked toward the pool.

However, after just three steps, a message appeared in his vision.

⟪Your Flame Resistance has reached the next stage: Perfect ↠ Transcendent⟫

⟪Your Flame Comprehension has reached the next stage: Perfect ↠ Transcendent⟫

⟪Your Chaos Soul Flame has upgraded: Tier 12 ↠ Tier 13⟫

Kent’s happiness was so much that he wished he could stay here forever.

The feeling he was getting from this place was unlike anything he had ever felt before. It was like there was an infinite amount of flame essence here for him to absorb.

"This is wonderful. I will form my core and form more flame veins here before I go back up." Kent started walking forward again. "With the strength I have amassed, I need less than a year to kill that fallen angel."

He had indeed become very powerful.

After walking forward for a few minutes, he arrived in front of the pool but didn’t step in. Instead, he dipped his hand in, and thankfully, he wasn’t burned.

However, he also felt like he could step in, so he stepped in, and right at that moment, he felt so much flame essence wash through his flame veins, activating all 35,000.

"Oh, it is happening." Kent walked forward and sat down. Then he retrieved a Soul Flame Fruit and swallowed it.

Then he waved his hand, and over 400,000 flame cores appeared, hovering in the air. He formed a hand seal and started absorbing the cores.

Kent wasn’t absorbing these cores for the flame essence. No, he was merely absorbing the flame aspects imbued in each of these cores.

With the amount of energy surrounding him, he could form his flame core using the primordial flame essence alone. However, Kent wanted versatility. He wanted to gain the ability to wield many flame aspects, so he gathered the cores for that.

The Soul Flame Fruit was merely to purify his core and give it some spiritual qualities.

So the process began, and it promised to be a long and rewarding one.

An hour later, Gaap also arrived, and when he saw Kent sitting at the center of the pool, he froze, but then a smile appeared on his face.

[What a monster]

He walked toward the pool and stepped in. However, unlike Kent, he was only able to move four steps before he was unable to move any further.

So he sat down and started cultivating too.

Meanwhile, on the outside, Avotha sat, his eyes closed as he worked on understanding the concept behind cultivating the Genesis of Death.

This technique was something Chaos wanted to choose at first, but the Abyssal Leviathan slapped his hand away and gave him the Primal Bone Tempering Art instead.

However, the two techniques were, in a way, similar.

The first form of the Primal Bone Tempering Art involves tempering the bones and body. Once that is done, the second step will be refining the bones using blood runes.

In the aspect of the Genesis of Death, Avotha will first have to temper his body using the energy of death. Once he manages to do that, he will start forming the seals of death, which are in the form of tattoos.

The more tattoos, the more dangerous they are.

Abyssal Leviathan even told Chaos that if he were to meet someone with more than ten death tattoos, he should run—unless, of course, he too managed to form more than ten blood tattoos.

Naturally, what he had given Avotha was going to change his life in ways that, if he didn’t die, would make his legend eternal.

[Four years after Kent entered Hell - Shore of the Damned Hell Sea]

It had been close to four years since Kent challenged the sixth level of Hell. However, over the past four years, nobody had seen him or had any idea what he looked like.

However, because the 14 pillars were still active, they knew he was alive and still inside the Damned Hell Sea.

As to what he was doing there, nobody had the heart or will to go check it out. After all, they valued their lives even if they were in Hell.

However, being made to wait four damn years was already frustrating the hell out of them.

"I will first burn his eyes out of their sockets, then break his fingers using needles. I will cut his arms off, then his legs. Afterwards, I will open him up and carefully remove his organs while keeping him alive.

When all that is done, I will hang him while still open and roast him over insectoid flame," a chainfiend with three hooked arms said, his expression ugly.

Well, in his defense, he was already ugly, so his expression was just bringing out his looks. However, his expression and everyone’s presence were quite unappealing.

They had come to hunt, but their prey was hiding from them. This alone was too much to make them plan all the forms of torture they would inflict on him.

"His death will be slow and painful."

"I will be sure to cut off his penis and shove it into his mouth."

"I will ensure he regrets being born."

"I will stomp on his head until it turns to powder."

As more people joined in, the entire space soon turned chaotic. Everyone was letting out their frustration.

Suddenly, the Damned Hell Sea trembled, and an overwhelming feeling of dread washed over everyone. They all shuddered, and soon they moved back as the sea began to shake.

The entire Damned Hell Sea was shaking like a solid object, causing the surroundings to start caving in. Those closer were swallowed as vortexes began to form.

"Run back, everyone — two overlords are fighting," somebody shouted, causing everyone to run several miles back.

They were afraid, and it was evident from the expressions on their faces. However, as they continued to move back, another thing started to happen to the sea.

"It is boiling... The Damned Hell Sea is boiling."

They all turned pale, feeling an overwhelming sense of helplessness. All they could do was run. The brave and strong ones remained much closer... but if 2,000 miles could be considered closer, then so be it.

---

Meanwhile, at the core layer of the Damned Hell Sea, Kent sat with his eyes closed, his expression focused, and his hands formed in a seal.

All around him, billions of flame runes moved in the air, pulsing with so much energy. They were moving and entering his forehead, appearing inside his soul sea.

Gaap and Avotha stood 200 miles away, covered by a barrier raised by Avotha.

Inside Kent’s soul sea, a beautiful green core approximately 10,000 km in diameter formed. However, because of how huge Kent’s soul sea was, this large core appeared rather small.

But, as more flame runes merged into it, it started to grow in size, and it was being filled with so much flame essence.

Hours passed, but millions of flame runes still remained.

However, just when the core reached 15,000 km in diameter, the 1,200,098 blood essence that Kent and Gaap had reaped appeared, and, like a hungry lion, Kent started absorbing it.

It turned out that to form the Flame Core, he had to first form his core gate. However, before that, he had to complete cultivating the first form of the Primal Bone Tempering Art.
