Chapter 1100: One Against Seven
Chapter 1100: One Against Seven
Hearing Lady Enzi’s request caused every living soul who came for the Primal Beast Sect to grind their teeth, anger bubbling in their eyes...
There is one thing for easily defeating an opponent in a 1v1 battle, and another to request a 7v1 team battle. That is not something to be taken lightly.
The Primal Beast Sect is no weak sect.
They are the second-ranked sect in the alliance, so giving them the respect they deserve is the least they could ask. However, the words that came out of Lady Enzi’s mouth had no respect whatsoever for them.
This made them extremely angry.
"This bitch, who does she think she is?" Elder Ravenos, the elder who tried to pick a fight with Lady Enzi two days back, gritted his teeth, his expression turning darker.
The idea that only Kent will be facing their sect in the team battle clearly didn’t sit right with him.
"This is just too arrogant," someone in the audience said.
"I never knew a sect could be this arrogant. I mean, what do they take the Primal Beast Sect for?"
"A decade ago, the Primal Beast Sect disciplined them, so it seems they are still angry and want to disrespect them back. However, going one against seven is just too much."
"Maybe they want to lose but don’t have the balls to send all seven disciples to fight. They are clearly afraid."
More comments continue to fly through the air.
Hatred has a way of blinding even the most intelligent. They had just seen Kent defeat the first disciple of the Primal Beast Sect. They saw how effortlessly he did it, yet they were still blinded by hatred to the point that they believed the Primal Beast Sect still had a chance.
If they still had their minds straight, they would have seen that Kent was much more dangerous and that perhaps he had what it takes to win in a 7v1.
But they still believed in the Primal Beast Sect, and so, they continued to curse at Kent and the Supreme Immortal Sect.
Naturally, Kent was more than ready to further infuriate them.
Elder Ravenos selected the seven disciples to fight Kent... Five of them were from the Ancient Sea Race, and the other two were dragons.
The moment they entered the arena, the dragons assumed their true dragon forms and took to the air. Kent watched this with a small smile.
"What a pointless struggle," he lowered his eyes, scanned the faces of the five remaining on the ground, and grinned...
"I don’t like to underestimate my opponents; however, I can’t help but look down on you seven. It is as if you all still don’t understand your place," Kent smirked and looked at Elder Ravenos.
"It doesn’t matter whether they are the seven of your best. Even if all elders in your sect, including the sect leader, were to climb into the arena now, it wouldn’t take me five minutes to handle all of you."
Gasps spread everywhere, but Kent didn’t mind them...
"You losers are in this medium world and think you have seen everything already... What a bunch of losers," Kent scoffed and then looked at the elder overseeing the match. "At this point, declaring me as the winner is the best way forward."
Everyone, aside from the Supreme Immortal Sect disciples, continued to bubble with anger so intense; tearing Kent to pieces and feeding his body to the fishes was all they wanted.
The disrespect was too much...
"Please start the match so we can kill this bastard." The captain of the Primal Beast Sect, a seahorse beast, said, his eyes bloodshot.
The elder, who also wanted to end this farce quickly, given everyone’s anger, nodded and turned to Kent...
"I am ready if they are." The grin on Kent’s face further enraged everyone. They couldn’t wait to see Kent’s dead body, even if it would disqualify the sect. After all, a decade later, they could come back to reclaim their title...
"Begin."
The moment the elder started the battle, the two dragons took a nosedive and unleashed powerful breath attacks at Kent.
Scorching hot flames blasted from their mouths, and Kent, who had every opportunity to evade, simply stood there, allowing the flames to bathe him completely.
Cheers exploded everywhere.
Everyone was happy to see Kent engulfed in flames. They believe that with this one breath attack, Kent is done for.
"Looks like he couldn’t even move under the gaze and attack of two dragons. Good riddance," one elder from the Primal Beast Sect said, his expression filled with happiness.
Others were also happy to see Kent’s body consumed by the two dragon flames.
However, when the attack ended and the flames receded, every last face turned grim...
There, untouched by the flames, Kent stood looking at the two dragons with a mocking smile.
"You call that a flame attack... How pathetic." Kent, who had been to hell and back, knew what true flame felt like. What the two dragons had just unleashed wasn’t even enough to tickle his skin.
His flame resistance was already at the Flame Immunity stage. Although not at the point where no flame would affect him, his resistance was high enough to even survive attacks from early-stage immortals.
He was that strong now. So the two dragons, thinking they had what it took to burn him, were just laughable and, well, very pathetic.
The two dragons froze midair, unsure how to even handle what had just happened...
"Before you two get any ideas, know that your flame attacks won’t work on me. So why don’t you play with each other?" Kent grinned, then unleashed his mind manipulation skill.
He received that skill after adding Zaila to his harem...
With his superior mental strength and the fact that he had already broken three limits on his mind, he instantly gained access to their minds...
"Since you two like to breathe flames, why don’t you spray flames at each other?" Kent walked to the side, evading an attack he saw coming long before it arrived.
"Just make sure you don’t kill each other."
To everyone’s shock, the dragons turned on each other and began attacking one another...
Jaws fell, and shock rippled everywhere. Common sense has finally eluded everyone, causing them to wonder if Kent is even human.
Kent walked to his left again and evaded yet another attack. He then moved a step forward, and he appeared in front of a Crabfolk.
"One only needs two legs; why do you have six?" Kent grabbed one of the legs and yanked it off. It came clean off his body along with a soul-corroding scream, one that caused everyone to turn pale.
"Oh, before I forget, you losers can’t say the word ’surrender,’ so suffer in silence. I promise I won’t kill any of you."
Kent moved to his left again, evading yet another attack. He was not using any Flame Vein to move since his speed was already enough to see the enemy’s attack come at him in slow-mo.
Soon, more and more attacks started raining down on Kent, but with his hands behind him, he continued to evade every last attack.
Nobody could wrap their mind around how he was doing it, but the strongest watching all knew Kent wasn’t even putting in any effort. This scared them very much.
They could tell that no matter how hard they tried, touching even a hair on his head would be a luxury.
They are weak, and Kent, who wanted to send the message, could only grin as he sneakily used his mind manipulation skill on the Alliance Head.
