Chapter 1102: Lord Munny
Chapter 1102: Lord Munny
"You really traumatized them, Kent," Elaine said, walking toward Kent after the battle ended and he was declared the winner.
"They can only blame themselves for having shitty parents."
Because the Ancient Sea Race attacked Sonox, Kent showed them no mercy. If it were up to him, all of them should just die. However, he needed them to protect Sonox, so making sure they understood their place was only to be expected.
Of course, the crab was unlucky. He happened to bear the name of someone who bullied Kent when he was weak. So it was only his bad luck to be a crab.
Elaine only smiled and hugged him, using her healing spell on him. Kent was in no way hurt or drained. However, Elaine just wanted to make sure he was fine.
"Big brother, you were amazing." Of course, Nyss was overly excited to see Kent in action. "Are we still on about hunting them all down and slaughtering them?"
The faces of everyone who heard her broke into a smile, knowing that if care was not taken and Nyss managed to pull Kent into her evil desire to slaughter the Primal Beast Sect, the massacre would be very gory.
"We should let them go for now. However, we will keep a close eye on them. If they dare make any stupid move, we will be sure to wipe them out."
Nyss nodded and turned to the Primal Beast Sect disciples. She pointed her dagger at them and said, "Wipe your necks and wait for us. One day, when you least expect it, we will appear and send you packing."
Nyss laughed, and then she turned around and began to follow Kent and the rest of the disciples from the Supreme Immortal Sect. The match was over and they had won, so they could only leave.

Lord Munny is the Alliance Head. He achieved Core Formation 65,000 years ago. Naturally, if he were to base his existence on his lifespan, he would have long died.
A core formation cultivator can only live up to 15,000 years.
However, once one breaks a limit, their lifespan doubles, and Lord Munny had broken 14 limits.
In the entire Celestial Ascendence Planetary Alliance, he was the strongest. Many knew this, and they respected him for that. However, even someone as powerful as him had never met someone like Kent before.
From the start of the battle, he had seen something many hadn’t.
He saw someone so powerful he couldn’t even bring himself to measure his strength. Basically, he just couldn’t handle what he had seen.
Kent was powerful. There was no doubt about that. His presence was commanding when in battle, and after his trip to the past, he had become even more powerful.
However, for a being who was already at the peak of the Core Formation stage, the idea that even his strength couldn’t be quantified was already too much for anyone to handle.
Kent formed his Blood Core Gate and further absorbed a significant amount of Blood Essence back when he was in hell. This alone had taken his strength far beyond that of a normal Core Formation warrior.
Then, if that wasn’t enough, he had formed his Flame Core using a Supreme Grade Primordial Flame as the source energy.
But even with that, he went ahead and fully cultivated the first form of the [Primal Bone Tempering Art], making him awaken the Blood Runes that would fuel his strength for generations to come.
His strength, the speed, and just the aura around him told Lord Munny all he had to know.
Watching Kent walk away with his people, he knew what he had to do.
So in the evening, he secretly left his mansion and headed over to where the Supreme Immortal Sect was staying. He had to go there because meeting Kent and having a talk with him was the only way he could finally rest.
If only he knew his eagerness to see Kent was all his, but also amplified by Kent, who wanted to get things done much faster before he ascended.
He had a very important mission he would embark on once he ascended, so finishing up here quickly would be both beneficial and delightful.
"You really shouldn’t be sneaking around, Lord Munny. People may mistake you for a stalker." Just when Lord Munny was about to take a corner, a voice spoke from behind him.
He stopped and sharply turned, meeting Kent’s gaze.
Kent waved his hand, and the next second, they were standing atop a small mountain overlooking the lit city bustling with life.
This was a cultivation world, so naturally, sleep was not something people did very often. So life was buzzing like crazy.
"I am a simple man, Lord Munny, so I will get straight to the point," Kent said, his tone turning serious. "How can I help you?"
Lord Munny, who had indeed come for help, sighed, and then, despite his position as the Alliance Leader, he bowed slightly and said, "I would like your guidance on how I can transcend beyond my current limit."
Kent expected nothing less.
Someone as important as Lord Munny wouldn’t drop everything and start following him just because he wants to become strong. He needed help, but he also had a reputation to uphold.
If he were to be heard following a brat like Kent around, many would laugh at him. So, as the face of the Alliance, he could only raise his shoulder a little and ask for what he wanted without sounding or looking too desperate.
"I understand," Kent said, his expression calm.
"To tell you the truth, I planned to come see you even before you did."
Lord Munny raised his brow at Kent’s words. He had never expected to hear that; however, once he did, he could only wonder why someone like Kent would seek him out.
Kent didn’t make him wait long.
"The reason I want to come see you is to discuss ways I can help this alliance grow into becoming a Star system.
I am already aware of the power dynamics in this Alliance and know that an ancient ruin is set to open in the next 100 years, which you would want to explore.
My aim this time is to ensure this alliance gets the most out of it. So, I plan to make you someone akin to my subordinate who would take care of that for me.
Of course, I will help you grow far beyond your current level. In fact, I plan to make you and others so powerful that surviving in a supreme High world will be possible.
However, it will come at a cost, and that cost is something only you can pay. All you have to do is become my subordinate."
"Become your subordinate?" Lord Munny asked with a calm expression.
"Yes."
"Just that?" he asked again, and Kent nodded with a smile.
"Deal."
Of course, Kent expected this answer. So the moment he heard it, he retrieved two pills from his space ring and handed them to him.
"The competition will end in two days. Use this time to see for yourself what I am capable of. Once you understand, see me here again in two days, and I will officially make you my subordinate."
"Try to play smart with me, and you wouldn’t know how you died..." Kent grinned, and Lord Munny shuddered. He was about to say something, but Kent vanished from sight.
