Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1213: Veirynthia, The Mirror of Shattered Realms

Chapter 1213: Veirynthia, The Mirror of Shattered Realms

After the intense sessions Kent had with his wives, most of them entered seclusion to break through to the Heavenly Ascension stage.

They had absorbed enough juice to break through. So they all entered.

The only ones left are those he had yet to awaken to their True Names. There is also Unity, Zaila and Selene, who were assigned by the rest of their sisters to stand in support for them.

So the moment Kent returned to the Harem Tower, they quickly surrounded him.

Enzi, Liora, Arien, Indie, Runa and Adina would be the ones getting True Names this time around.

Kent had already awakened close to two dozen True Names, so this wasn’t something new to him. However, he most certainly is looking forward to what will become of his women.

"Who would be going first?" he asked, and the ladies pointed at Enzi without any hesitation. Of course, she joined the harem much faster than they did, so it was only right that she go first.

They all wanted to see what became of the glass lady.

"Well then, looks like we have a winner," Kent gestured for Enzi to come to him. She did as she was told and walked into Kent’s waiting arms.

"Just relax and let the process flow naturally."

Enzi nodded.

Kent retrieved a True Name awakening token and activated it. Just then, the process began, aiming to awaken Enzi’s true self.

Most of the time, people say that walking the path that hasn’t been walked before is a waste of time. One cannot go against the rules already set by nature, they say.

Of course, there is a substance to what they say. After all, there are billions of examples to pick from. Many tried to walk their own path, only to hit unmovable and unbreakable walls in no time.

So even rises much higher only to stagnate in the end.

However, some went against the odds and prevailed.

A typical example was Lord Genesis. When there was no path, he carved his own and walked to the peak, where nobody had ever dared to reach before.

Thanks to him, many are now walking the path of swordsmanship with their shoulders held high.

And there are many others.

Aelvara Shardheart was one of them.

Before the Chaos Wars, the great Crystal Rift War was fought between the Crystal Angels and the Creatures of the Beyond.

Years before that battle, a young Crystal Angel decided to walk her own path when she was denied entry into the most prestigious Angel Sect.

She had the qualifications to join the sect; however, she lacked the background. Even if a genius, being born into the lower class and without solid backing, entering that sect was impossible.

So she was denied entry, something that broke her fragile heart.

So out of anger and the need to prove herself, so that one day she could look down on everyone, she embarked on a journey to create her own path.

And so soon she was gone. Nobody knew where she went or whether she was having any success on the path she had chosen.

Not that anybody cared for that. Since she chose to abandon the path the Crystal Angels threaded, she only had herself to blame for her failures.

In their eyes, she was of no importance. The legacy they built wasn’t one she could measure up to. So they didn’t mind her and even forgot she existed.

Years later, when the sky shattered and the Creatures of the Beyond arrived, the battle that forever defined the fate of the Crystal Angel began.

It was harrowing, dangerous and far beyond anything they expected. In no time, the battle entered a state of chaos, one where fighting crystal with crystal was impossible.

The Crystal Angels had an affinity for crystals, the same as the Creatures of the Beyond.

Unfortunately for them, while in the universe, their control over the crystal element was unmatched, but when against the Creatures of the Beyond, they were lacking.

So what could have been their most significant victory had become a threat that threatened to wipe them out, one destined to bury them beneath thick layers of crystal.

However, just when everything was turning upside down, reality suddenly turned to glass.

Legend spoke of the day the first shattering sound filled the air. They talked of reality bending, turning into pure glass and with every shatter, a creature of the Beyond died.

However, while one would expect to see blood everywhere, considering the creatures’ shattering, no blood was left behind. The only thing that remained was pure glass.

They called it the Night of the Shattered Reality, for on that day, the path never walked before was achieved by a young warrior who had long been forgotten.

She came back as she promised, and with her path as a Glass Manipulation, she proved to everyone she deserved entry into the Angel Sect.

When the Chaos War began, she led the Crystal Angels into battle, and with the help of other powerhouses, the war was won.

In that battle, she earned her True Name, a name that defined her true nature as one who transcended the limitations of her own race and created a path that had never existed before.

Her legend spread far and wide, empowering countless others to take the path that had never been walked before.

---

Kent and his wives raised their heads, looking at the figure in the air—each wearing a puzzled expression.

"Uh, is it just me, or is reality turning to glass?" Adina asked, looking at the countless glass boxes shifting and turning like a Rubik’s Cube.

"I know, right. Just looking at it is making my stomach turn weirdly. It is like countless realities are merging, shattering and reforming over and over again," Runa also observed, intensifying the weirdness everyone was feeling.

Liora narrowed her gaze at this sight, recalling something her master told her.

"My master once spoke of a warrior who fought during the Chaos War. She said from what she knew, that legendary warrior could permanently turn reality to glass. She even said she commanded one of the most dangerous domains in existence."

"Do you know the name..."

Before Liora could answer, the process began.

Kent stepped forward and started to speak.

"The path that had never been threaded before remains unthreaded simply because no one is brave enough to walk it.

She chose to walk it, and in the end, she created a legend. They called her the Crystalborne Sovereign, for she rose above and became a sovereign of her own kind.

They called her the Mistress of Shattered Realms for her duelling lines in the realm of the shattered mirrors, an existence with infinite reflections.

Many called her by many names, but the universe called Veirynthia, The Mirror of Shattered Realms.

Rise Veirynthia, and reclaim your destiny."

The moment Kent invoked her True Name, the sound of shattering glasses filled the air.

In an instant, Kent felt his body pulled into a realm where countless mirrors surrounded him from all sides. It was all too sudden for even him to react.

Suddenly, a voice that sounded like millions spoke it entered his mind.

"Aurelion Vaelros, glad to see you still draw breath...bastard"
