Chapter 1240: A Simple Question with Deadly Consequences

Their screams were loud but didn’t last. In less than 2 seconds, over 7,000 warriors were devoured by the darkness filled with the power of death.

Even the Heavenly Ascension warriors rushing to the city survived only because they reacted quickly. Some even burned their life force to free themselves from the insidious darkness.

Liora smirked as if she could read his mind and instead turned to Tianpeng... "I have always disliked you," Liora said, her expression turning from disdain to intent to kill.

Seeing this, all the Beast warriors panicked. However, before any of them could move, Kent waved his hand, and a powerful pressure fell on them, halting everyone in their place.

Kent just smiled and threw Tianpeng into the mountain garden, where Uncle Drew and the four demigods were having their afternoon tea.
