Chapter 1242: Meeting The Sky Fox
Chapter 1242: Meeting The Sky Fox
Kent threw Yun Wusheng into the Mountain Garden. He could have sent him straight into the Tower Prison. However, he wants Uncle Drew and the others to have some fun torturing him first.
When he arrived, Tianpeng, who had already woken up, was hanging upside down by an invisible thread, blood coming off his nose, mouth, eyes, and ears.
It had already been a day inside the tower, so he had long woken up.
The sight of his most trusted allies hanging, blood coming out of his nose and other orifices, terrified him, causing him to make a run for it.
He was just too scared to face whoever was hanging Tianpeng. Although his legs and hands were moving as if he were running, he couldn’t even take a single step.
It was like he had been left in a suspended animation where he could move but couldn’t make a run for it.
Inside the garden, Avotha smirked.
This was his doing. The others didn’t want to dirty their hands, so the abyss dragon chose to do that for them.
He bent space around him, creating the illusion that he was running several miles per second when, in fact, he was in the same place from the start.
As for Tianpeng, he wove a deadly battle into his mind. In the battle, Tianpeng somehow managed to escape from the four of them and was slaughtering his way out. In his mind, he would soon regain his freedom.
When the illusion breaks, he is going to find himself suspended in the air, bleeding profusely. The freedom he seeks is something he would never obtain.
For the time being, he will keep them in this state. Once he grows bored, he will send them into the new and upgraded Tower Prison.

Meanwhile, on the outside, Kent held Liora’s hands, staring into her eyes... "Are you alright?" Kent may be okay with her getting her revenge.
However, he also knew he had to check on her mental health.
She had just slaughtered over 40,000 people in her quest for revenge. Of course, she was an assassin before she became an alchemist.
In that life, she had killed her fair share of scums. However, Kent knew this scale of massacre wasn’t something she had committed before.
So naturally, there were bound to be some side effects. However, he seems to have forgotten Liora isnt the same person anymore. She had changed, and with that change came her now robust mental strength.
Liora merely smiled and nodded, "I am fine, Kent. No need to worry about me."
"Don’t be silly, Liora. I am your husband, so of course I’m going to worry about you." He brushes a strand of hair from her face and wipes the sweat off her forehead.
"I will always worry about you"
Liora blushed, but she leaned in for a kiss.
"I promise I am fine, Kent. I finally managed to defeat my heart demon and saved my people, so I am fine."
Kent nodded.
However, hearing that Yun Wusheng was Liora’s heart demon, he made a mental note to take pleasure in torturing him.
Heart demons had ruined many powerful people. Once a cultivator develops one, they will face many roadblocks in their path to immortality. Of course, there are ways to remove heart demons.
Many had done it before, just like Liora had.
However, every heart demon has a unique way to remove them. If not removed in time, it could become permanent. And, to some extent, even transform the person into a twisted version of themselves.
Alina developed a heart demon from her past trauma when Kent met her. Thankfully, she was able to move forward after Kent helped her kill the bastard.
Now, Liora had also handled her heart demon, freeing herself from future struggles. Kent could only hope and pray she would be the last of his wives to have one.
Kent hugged her, but instead of feeling comfort, Liora shuddered as a cold aura emanated from him. The dangerous thoughts running through his mind seem to be influencing him.
The space around them froze solid. However, he quickly recalled the ice... He would need some more training to have a good handle on his ice element.
"Sorry, I guess I was just angry that bastard nearly ruined you."
Liora smiled, "It’s alright. He is now in our hands. Also, I don’t feel the heart demon again, so we will take our time to torture him."
"I like the sound of that," Kent grinned and kissed her again before turning toward the black mist. She also turned to the floating island, still covered by the black mist.
"What should we do with them?" Liora asked.
"Let’s talk to them first and see if they will be up to moving into the tower. If they decline, then we will figure something out for them."
She nodded and waved her hand, clearing the dark mist. When everything cleared, and the Sky Foxes saw the massacre that had occurred, they all turned pale, fear gripping them.
"Aunty Yuyin, glad to see you are still breathing," Liora said, turning Yuyin’s attention to her.
When her eyes landed on Liora, all fear was replaced by genuine happiness. Although Liora had changed in terms of appearance, Yuyin recognised her in a heartbeat.
"Little Lola, is that you?" She wanted to take a step forward; however, before she could move, Liora was already standing in front of her.
"Yes, Aunty, it is me, Liora." What followed was a big and heartfelt hug. Kent remained behind, staring at the two ladies’ hug.
The only living relative Liora has aside from the entire Sky Fox race is Yuyin. She is Liora’s mother’s little sister. When Liora was just a child, she always took care of her when her mother was away.
Since the Sky Priestess was akin to the Queen of the Sky Foxes, Liora was the princess. However, her mother was extremely busy, so Yuyin raised her.
Yuyin went out of her way to make sure she had everything despite her coming out as a human instead of a Sky Fox. Her mother was a Sky Fox, and her father was a human after all.
It can even be said that she shielded Liora from the rest of the Sky Foxes, who believe a human cannot be a princess and possibly a queen of their race.
So she is happy to see her again. She had been worried about her when she chose to run from her father thousands of years ago.
Now, as it turned out, the human they despised came back when they needed help, and now looking around, they can boldly say the peace they needed had returned to them... at least for a while.
After the hug, Liora quickly introduced Kent... "Aunty, this is my husband."
Kent smiled and moved toward them in a single step. His commanding presence instantly drew Yuyin’s attention.
Yet again, Liora didn’t tell him she still has an Aunty and a beautiful one at that. Although Kent already has a Nine-Tailed Fox in his harem, Arien is a Void Fox, while Yuyin is a Sky Fox.
Of course, Kent also didn’t know Liora was a princess and that her father killed her mother. All he knew was that she left to pursue her dream as an assassin, which she did, but later had to create a second identity.
It was through that life that she met her. Now, it seems he is bound to learn more about her from her aunt, whom Kent also found a liking for.
"Pleasure meeting you, Yuyin," Kent said with a smile, causing Liora to blush while Yuyin shook her head.
It took only a single glance for Yuyin to recognise the kind of monster shaking hands with her. However, she swallowed her fear.
"You can call me Yuyin... no need to add the Aunty."
Kent smiled and gave her a firm nod.
"In that case, you can also call me Kent Madson..."
Yuyin froze.
Liora giggled, and Kent merely smiled.
