Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1247: The Three Monarchs (1) [Xmas Bonus]

Chapter 1247: The Three Monarchs (1) [Xmas Bonus]

Kent didn’t tap into his bloodline, blood runes, or flame veins.

He merely commanded, but his voice reacted with the spiritual energy in the air, causing a powerful pressure to descend on the planet.

He learned that from Chaos.

The three Monarchs, despite being Death Stage beasts, felt their lives threatened. However, instead of acting on the threat and answering the question, Kent asked, they released their aura, cancelling the pressure.

Clearly, they had no intention of complying.

Khar’mol raised a bone scythe, abyssal energy oozing out from it. He pointed it at Kent and spoke in a creepy tone... "You can’t come here and demand answers like you own the place. This is our domain; you have no right here."

He released a wave of energy from his body, causing the corpses standing behind him to react. The red core on his chest emitted a wave of crimson energy, and lines of red energy moved and entered the thousands of corpses standing behind him.

Their eyes turned red, and a powerful aura burst from them, threatening to level the place. They fixed their gaze on Kent, ready to attack when the order was given to them.

The metallic skin on his armour emitted crimson flashes, forcing a metallic pressure on Kent.

Kent felt a wave of metallic qi emanating from him.

This caused Kent to raise his brow... slightly intrigued, mildly amused.

"This is Planet Modu. You have no authority here, so you will do well to respect that," the slender lady, Lilixen, also spoke in a commanding yet beastial tone before releasing a wave of void energy.

It caused the void to tremble, then burst open, releasing thousands of dark swords, each aimed at Kent. A dangerous will is channelled through the swords, causing the ground to tremble under Kent’s feet.

Every last sword will be a threat to a Heavenly Ascension Stage cultivator. However, Kent merely stood calmly, his expression unreadable.

As for the third Monarch, Azrakul, he raised his hand, and somewhere on the planet, a large pillar rose from the ground and started emitting demonic qi from it.

It surged forward, appearing behind him in a flash.

"We were told you would come. However, they said nothing about how arrogant you are." His body expanded, rising to 12 feet tall.

"Now, since you have come, then you might as well stay."

All three had no intention of complying, a clear sign to Kent that someone else was at play. These beasts may lack intelligence compared to real spirit beasts, but they aren’t stupid.

If anything, they are aware of what was about happen, yet they refused to comply with Kent’s request. Of course, maybe they are too high and mighty to listen to his command, or perhaps they don’t want to behave.

But they can sense the danger surrounding Kent, and so they know going against him is a bad idea. However, they still choose to oppose him.

Kent sighs, slightly disappointed.

He expected them to heed his command, but since they refused, he might as well go ahead using the hard way.

"Such a pity. I came with hope to converse with beasts with brains. However, it turned out you three are brain-dead duds." Kent raised his sword, and a wave of sword aura burst out from it.

"This is also good. I can just kill you and read your memories. Then I will beat it out of the person behind it all."

RUMBLE

A thousand blood runes were activated at the same time, causing a dangerous feeling to descend on the planet. Kent channelled his energy through his sword and released a powerful sword aura unfused with blood qi.

"Not on my watch," Lilixen clapped her hands together, and the void trembled, the thousands of swords squeaking.

Behind Kent, a thousand blood runes manifested, hovering in the air. On his arm, dark golden dragon scales moved and coated the sword (Gaap).

The squeaking of the thousand void swords sharpened into a chilling resonance. The void literally cracked, and void qi poured out. The swords absorbed them like hungry lions.

Then all at once, they shot forward like a storm of tearing night. The space trembled, and a wave of energy that could flatten even a Peak Heavenly Ascension Stage warrior erupted from the sword.

Kent didn’t move.

He simply tightened his grip on Gaap.

The black blade hummed, absorbing some of the blood runes floating behind Kent. Kent had already advanced his understanding of blood after experiencing Chaos’ memories.

He mastered the blood runes far beyond merely using them to boost his physical strength. He can now convert them into sword qi.

This gave him the confidence to stand at ease, watching as the swords descended on him with deadly energy.

"What a disappointment."

Suddenly, one command left Kent’s lips, causing the scene to change.

"Cut."

SHRRRINGGG...

A single sword arc flashed, illuminating the sky. However, while it is a beautiful sight, the energy behind it is anything but enjoyable.

If one doesn’t pay attention, they won’t see the arc, since it is as thin as a hair. In an instant, it arrived before the swords.

Every void sword that came close was split in half. Their fragments dissolved into ash-like void particles that scattered across the dark sky without much resistance.

Just that single thin arc was enough to destroy all the void swords with ease.

Lilixen’s eyes widened.

’Impossible...’ she thought, her expression turning pale as she looked at Kent from above.

Kent didn’t even step forward, yet her technique, powerful enough to slaughter thousands of Life Stage cultivators, was destroyed casually.

"You..." she whispered, voice trembling with disbelief.

Kent paid her no attention, since his focus was on the second Monarch, who also made his move.

Azrakul didn’t wait for the heat to die down. He formed a hand seal and muttered coldly.

"Demonic Pillar—Devour!"

The massive pillar he raised earlier suddenly cracked open, releasing tendrils of demonic qi that tore across the sky, whipping toward Kent like starving beasts.

Two blood runes flew and merged with Kent’s fingers. When he channelled his energy into them, they began to emit faint killing intent.

Then, when the tendrils were close enough, he flicked his finger.

BOOM.

The explosion was loud and blinding, a perfect moment for Kent to act.

A burst of wind pressure exploded beneath his feet, channelling the flame veins into his speed.

In an instant, he just vanished. This action caught the Monarchs off guard. However, before Azrakul could register it, Kent appeared over his head, sword raised.

Gaap was already descending in a deadly slash.

Azrakul crossed all four of his arms to block the attack, black demonic qi coating them. He was caught off guard by how fast Kent moved; however, he isn’t exactly weak to begin with.

Even so, Kent gave the classic arrogant remark before his sword connected with his arm...

"Weak"

CLANG!

His obsidian-metal skin cracked under the powerful slash Kent unleashed. However, his nightmare wasn’t over...

A second strike followed.

CLANG!

This time, both arms shattered, spraying black ichor into the air. Kent’s deadly attack shattered the fragile resistance he had mounted.

He was just too fast for any of the three monarchs to match up to him.

Azrakul roared in agony as he was blasted backwards, tumoring through mountains like a meteor. The demonic pillar flickered violently, losing its stability.

Kent raised his head and looked at it, a smirk forming on his lips.

He rotated Gaap once, scattering the blood runes hovering behind him.

Some moved and merged with his sword, raising the sword aura around it and the sword intent in the air. However, before Kent could move to destroy the pillar, Khar’mol, the Bone Monarch, finally acted.

With a screech, he raised his bone scythe and spun it in a deadly arc.

"Corpse Legion—Awaken!" The sky suddenly turned dark.
