Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1433: Strange Painting

Chapter 1433: Strange Painting

Kent spent 8 days inside the pool before he came out.

By the time he came out, his soul had healed and even become stronger than before.

"This pool is a treasure."

Kenna nodded. "The water flowing down is filled with purified soul essence, so naturally, it has all the qualities to heal and strengthen the soul. As the soul universe grows stronger, so will this pool."

"Then I will frequent here, since I know for a fact I will be sustaining more soul damage soon." Kent laughed. He plans to use the Underworld Soul River again, so that is an automatic soul injury.

"The master is always welcome in my domain."

Kent walked out of the pool, Kenna still in his arms. She seemed a bit more clingy than she was supposed to be, but Kent didn’t mind.

Clingy is nice.

After all, when he enters the star gateway, he won’t be able to talk to his wives until he is out. But with Kenna around, he would have someone to hold and cuddle with.

Kenna had no plans to sleep with him, which is nice. Kent also had no plans to take such a step—not that he wouldn’t if Kenna offered. But since she seems to like it just by being with him and close to him, he wouldn’t mind ending things where they are now.

He quickly put on his clothes and got ready to leave.

"I will be in seclusion for a while, but if you need me, I will be there."

Kent nodded and soon left the waterfall. This time, he didn’t spend minutes walking through the darkness. Kenna sent him away with a snap of her finger.

Once he was out, he quickly made his way toward the third soul warrior’s residence. In less than five minutes, he arrived before a small mountain made from what appeared to be a stone-glass hybrid.

There is no concrete name for it, since it has the look of both glass and stone. He flew over, and soon, he saw someone sitting in a quiet posture, staring at a mural that had a painting of a bow on it.

"Looks like Kenna wasn’t joking. All he really does is stare at a painting all day," Kent muttered, looking at the back of the figure seated in a lotus posture.

He noticed he had become a True Immortal instead of his Core Immortal strength. That was a big leap for him, which in a way added to his own strength.

But aside from that, as Kent began to focus more on the mural, he couldn’t help but feel some of the ancient power emanating from it. The longer he stared at it, the more he started to see that the mural was not as simple as it looked.

Even more insidious, the longer he stared at it, the more he couldn’t help but feel like it was calling out to him. It is weird that a painting would be calling out to him when he had never held a bow before.

But this feeling sparked his curiosity.

"Tower, what is this mural? More importantly, can you identify the bow in the painting?" he asked his only trusted source.

[I am not sure, but it looks like the Bow of Calamity.]

"Bow of Calamity. What is that?"

[The Bow of Calamity was the weapon wielded by the Calamity King. He led the battle against the Calamity Beasts, where he fought and died like the honourable warrior he was.

Legend has it he was the greatest archer to ever live in the history of the Universe.

From what has been recorded, when he fell, his bow fought on its own, dealing the last strike that the Calamity King couldn’t before he died.

After the war, it vanished, and nobody had ever seen it again.]

"I see. Sounds like it was a legendary weapon."

[It was. However, I am not sure whether this painting is the Bow of Calamity or not. What I can say, however, is that this mural is no simple painting. There is something mystical about that even I can’t figure it out.]

Kent nodded and decided to move closer. Just as he moved, he sensed the air around him twist and turn. The next second, he was standing before the mural.

"Hmm, Space Law, I suppose," Kent muttered, a bit stunned and a bit happy to see what his third soul warrior could do.

"Space Law. I have just comprehended it from the mural and have been waiting for you to come so I could test it on you."

"Looks like you have mastered it. Congratulations. Space Displacement is a difficult law aspect to comprehend."

"Oh, does the master also understand Space Law?"

Kent smiled and shook his head. "Unfortunately, no. However, I used to know someone who had mastered this aspect of the universal laws."

Inaya, the Sword Immortal that Jest met in the Whispering Wind Sword Sect, came to mind.

Although he couldn’t shake off the feeling that she and he are a bad pair—considering whenever he thinks of her, his body shudders—she was someone he knew had mastered the Space Law to some degree.

He himself had taken the path of the Void when he reached the Sword Legend stage. However, Inaya was someone who had walked the path of Space Law.

That was how he knew the space law his third soul warrior used was space displacement. Jest had learned alot about her just in case she came after her.

"It is all in the past now," he turned and looked at the mural. "Though I have to ask, how were you able to comprehend Space Law from merely staring at a painting? Also, where did this painting come from?"

"It was already here when I arrived. As for how I was able to learn Space Law from it, I didn’t. The painting taught me on its own."

"Huh?"

"Yeah. It’s shocking, but that was what happened. After you killed me, I entered a dark place. However, after a while, I returned as a different person. When I opened my eyes, this thing was here.

It called out to me and offered to teach me the Space Law if I wanted to learn. Of course, I accepted. After all, I already have a deep understanding of the Void Law, so adding Space Law seemed like the best option.

By the way, you can call me Bello."

Kent nodded, but he was in shock. All Bello had just said sounded too good to be true. However, if he were to think of all that had happened in this short time he spent inside the Soul Universe and those that happened in the past, he couldn’t help but wonder if something else is at play here.

In fact, the entire nature of the Soul Universe is weird. There is just no way he is following the rules of the universe when inside his Soul Universe.

Creating weapons, in a way, is normal. However, when he moved ahead to creating literal warriors, that is where he crossed the line. However, even if he had crossed the line, the heavens didn’t seem to care.

He didn’t put much thought into it before, but now, he can’t help but wonder what is at play here.

"Oh, I found this scroll before the painting. I couldn’t open it, so I figured it was for you." Bello handed a scroll to Kent, who, the moment he touched it, felt like it was meant for him.

He closed his eyes for a moment, then he opened them. Under Bello’s gaze, the scroll unfurled.

Kent read the first line, which, even before he could finish it, made a smile appear on his face.

"Sup dude, it is your big brother Paragon writing."
