Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1467: Talent Search

Chapter 1467: Talent Search

Kent had to be honest that he never expected the next stages of his journey to be impossible ones.

Nothing that Lord Bimk had said inspired his confidence to keep moving forward. If anything, he considered calling Vexthra or Miryssa to help him cross to the next continent.

Lord Bimk made it sound like he had nowhere else to go but to stay in Snow City.

Using the Continental Teleportation Channel sounded safe but hard to get. Kent knew if he wanted, he could just call Vexthra over, who he knew would be able to get a ticket or two for both of them.

However, doing so would defeat the purpose of his mission. The next time he can’t call for her help, what then would he do?

For now, he wants to be able to solve his problems without relying on others.

This is but a prelude to the main mission he would be embarking on in about a year’s time. So he wants to solve his own problems.

This means his focus should go to the Domain Sea, where he had to prepare for just about anything. Lord Bimk recommended Seven Flag Sea Shanti as the best cruise ship he could go for.

Kent was grateful for that because at least he would have a chance. The next thing would be to secure a ticket, meaning he must head over to where they are located.

"This Seven Flag Sea Shanti, where can I find them, and how prepared should I be?"

"They are in Crystal City. You can pick a teleportation gate from here and get there directly in less than five minutes. As for what you need to qualify for a ticket, just become popular. They are known for transporting celebrities.

I doubt you have fighting power that will impress a demigod, so if you have other talents, now would be the time for you to show them. Maybe it would earn you some social standing.

I will also give you a recommendation letter, so that would butter up your chances. That is the least I can do for you."

Kent nodded.

He is grateful for that.

Lord Bimk went ahead to scribble a few words on a scroll. Then she placed her seal on it to authenticate it. After that, she handed it to Kent before she stood up.

They are done with their discussion. All Kent wanted to know had been answered, so the next thing was to leave.

Lord Bimk is also meeting with someone important, so staying too long would infuriate that person.

"By the way, what is your name?" she asked.

"Jaqen."

"Well then, Jaqen. Good luck, and I hope with every fibre of my being you succeed." Kent nodded and exchanged a handshake with her before leaving the room.

They parted ways, and Kent quickly left the restaurant.

He had a lot to think about before making any decision after hearing what kind of journey lies ahead of him.

From what Lord Bimk said, the ship will be leaving in three months. This means he has three months, or maybe less, to get a ticket.

But to do that, he had to go to Crystal City, where he had been before. It is just like Snow City, but unlike how there is snow raining here, it is filled with only crystallized ice.

In the past, one of his adventures brought him there. He spent close to a year there before leaving. Now, he had to go there again, but first, he needed to understand just what he had to do to become popular.

"Are all Unique Worlds this complicated?" he muttered as he moved deeper into the city.

He never expected Planet Brymrr to be this challenging.

He is a mortal, so aside from his good looks, there is basically nothing else he can do that will impress anyone that high up the ladder.

His swordsmanship is good, but he isn’t about to reveal that here. Who knows what kind of danger he would be putting himself in if he were to display his moves?

This is a planet that gave birth to Lord Genesis, the greatest swordsman to ever live. It means there are always swordsmen around, each looking to be the next Lord Genesis.

So until he is certain his swordsmanship won’t put him in danger, he wouldn’t dare try that.

This means he must use his Pill Monarch status to his advantage. Thankfully, Lord Bimk had given him a recommendation. Adding that to his Pill Monarch status would allow him to get a ticket or at least improve his chances.

A plan set in his mind, one that he had absolute trust in. However, to be on the safe side, he decided to look for something else he could do that would give him a name in Snow City before heading to Crystal City.

His thought was, ’If I can dominate the scene in Snow City, there is a chance I can make it to the Continental Teleportation Channel.’

Although he is also here to train, if he could avoid the domain sea, he would love that. In the past, the domain sea wasn’t that big of a deal. But after billions of years, it seems things had changed.

So using the teleport channel sounds like a good idea.

Though that would probably never happen, he couldn’t help but entertain the thought. Of course, it would be great if he could make a name for himself, not as a swordsman or an alchemist.

The problem is, he had no other way. His memories are there, but aside from swordsmanship, Alchemy and assassination, he is blank.

Chaos had no other talents aside from fighting. As a brute, he had no elegance that would give Kent a chance to become someone else.

If he had even a single elegant side, Elina wouldn’t have suffered that much trying to turn him into a human.

Jest was also all about the sword. He never had time to pick up on anything aside from pursuing more knowledge about the sword.

When it came to Faceless, he was also all about assassination. Maybe due to that limitation he had, he made sure the Faceless Agent created a second persona.

As for the Ruthless Bandit, his earlier years were fun, but nothing mind-blowing that could aid him today. Perhaps if he hadn’t come home to the death of his family, he would have helped someone.

Right now, Kent knew the rest of the book contained bitterness, and so he chose to ignore it.

This means the only path now is to become a con artist because, aside from the above-mentioned professions, the only skill he has that isn’t widely recognized is con artistry, and he has that thanks to Kevin Sage, whose memories he recently started to recall.

That bastard’s father turned him into one of the finest con artists in the universe before he died. So aside from swordsmanship, alchemy, and assassination, he is also a con artist.

Unfortunately, there is no way he can use that talent to make a good name for himself.

Just thinking about it made him grin from ear to ear.

He really is fucked, and that can be understood from how useless his past lives were.

Because of his thoughts, he had no idea when he walked to a section of the city where thousands of calligraphies and paintings were displayed.

When Kent saw this, he was brought to a halt, his fingers tingling as he looked at the beautiful paintings and calligraphy on display.

This isn’t the first time he felt this. Whenever he sees Unity’s Primordial Spirit Paint, he feels some form of attraction to it.

He had no idea where that feeling was coming from. However, one thing is certain: as he stood there staring at the paintings and calligraphies, he felt like he could do it.
