Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1543: Shadow Emperor

Chapter 1543: Shadow Emperor

Among the seven Eternal Sword Intents he had refined, Baldy was the cutest simply because his mind was that of a child, despite being extremely brilliant.

Kent can even say he is the most intelligent among the seven Eternal Sword intents.

The others came out as fully grown beings, but he remained a 13-year-old child. Due to his cuteness and a bit of childish behavior, Jest planned to travel the universe and had so much fun along the way.

Unfortunately for him, they never did because he died in the climax of the Divine War. So he understood perfectly why he was heartbroken.

However, while he would love to say he had no idea he would be dying in that last battle, he knew deep down he would, but chose not to tell him.

Jest had a bad premonition before facing the Abyss king. Maybe if he had told Baldy this, he wouldn’t have been too heartbroken.

His death wasn’t because he wanted to escape him; it was a necessary decision that saved the universe.

He, too, would have loved to take his little bro on a trip across the universe after everything was over. It would have even helped him gain a bit of his happiness after all the shenanigans with Inaya and his heart demon.

Safe to say that never happened.

"I am sorry, Baldy. I should have made you aware that the last battle would be a life-or-death one. For that, I apologize and promise to take you on a tour around the universe this time around."

Kent smiled and brushed his hand against his bald head. "After all, we have to look for your siblings. They each owe me a sword technique."

Baldy nodded. "I will enjoy that very much. That said, Big Brother Ted is in Hell, and Big Sister Vic has ventured into some unknown ruin that came from the Primordial Era. As for Big Brother Mak, he is somewhere in the Succubus Empire."

Kent raised his brow. "Say what now?"

"Ha," Baldy laughed. "Big Brother Mak only likes to hang around ladies, so he has been there for millions of years. He occasionally contacts me to check up on me. Come to think of it, he was the only one who checked up on me.

Though his last check-in was 2 million years ago, so there is no telling if he is there again."

"I see. What about Pat and Han?"

"Big Sister Pat would probably be drifting somewhere in the Void. Her technique had to do with the void, so she has been moving from one void realm to the next.

As for Big Brother Han, none of us heard from him except that during the Flame Era, he appeared briefly and cut down a Pseudo-Primordial. Afterward, he was gone.

Big Sister Vic speculated that he is somewhere in this universe, walking among mortals. Also, we all think he has long succeeded in comprehending everything about his technique and might have long surpassed it."

"So in short, he is the strongest of you."

"Yes. But I wouldn’t say that in front of Big Sister Vic. She is the prideful type."

"Noted." Kent smiled, a bit happy and a bit concerned about the safety of his Eternal Sword Intents. He knew that, while they may look and feel human, they are beings who stand above this universe.

They are limited in what they can do, so if they make the wrong move, there is a good chance they will find themselves in danger, the kind that will restrict them forever.

They may be superior beings, but they still have to play by the rules.

In the end, he was happy Baldy had now returned to his side. The rest would take care of itself. After spending more time catching up with Baldy, he proceeded to handle the other issues on his roster.

The first was the two Demigod soul spirits inside his Soul Universe. He tried to create two more soul warriors; however, it didn’t work.

It turned out his soul was still too weak to handle the creation of any soul warrior above the rank of a True Immortal.

Unfortunately for him, all the potential soul warrior candidates were above the rank of True Immortals. So he was forced to abandon that plan and focus instead on increasing his Assassin Class.

He expected to become a Shadow Emperor and awaken his Shadow Realm upon becoming a sword emperor. However, that didn’t happen; instead, he was given a requirement.

Granted, the requirement was just ridiculous. It wasn’t something he had to even worry about.

[Requirement to become a Shadow Emperor]

↠ Steal the Face of an Immortal

He was only required to use the Faceless Art to steal the face of an immortal.

While in a way this requirement would have been a bit harrowing, considering that finding an immortal and killing one was above the ranking of a mortal, Kent happened to have over a dozen of them, some inside the tower prison, while others were in the void prison.

He quickly brought one over and used the technique on him, adding yet another face to his arsenal.

The moment that was done, he advanced to the Shadow Emperor stage, and his Faceless Shadow Realm awakened.

Unlike his Genesis Sword Realm, this one was a bit bone-chilling. The moment it awakened, the entire Sword Tower became shrouded in darkness.

Bone-chilling enough, the moment the darkness filled the domain, Kent himself felt his back break into a cold sweat.

Hidden in the darkness, he could feel the gaze of thousands, perhaps millions of beings, each a monster in their own right, locked on him. It felt as if he had opened the first layer to a rather dangerous domain.

"There is something different about my Faceless Realm."

Just like with his Sword Realm, the Faceless Realm was something Faceless created. However, it wasn’t this harrowing in the past. Now, he had no idea what had become of his Shadow Realm.

Though he was sure of one thing: although there were dangers lurking within his shadow, they weren’t something he should be worried about.

They weren’t life-threatening, at least not to him.

He planned to explore it more, but he was forced to abandon that idea when the requirement to become a Shadow Divine appeared. Of course, he never expected it to have anything to do with his Shadow Realm.

But it did.

[Requirement to become a Shadow Divine]

↠ Kill 100,000 Root Immortals to awaken 1,000 Shadow Fiends.

↠ Kill 80,000 Core Immortals to awaken 100 Shadow Fiends.

↠ Kill 50,000 Spirit Immortals to awaken 100 Shadow Fiends.

↠ Kill 10,000 True Immortals to awaken 100 Shadow Fiends.

↠ Kill 1,000 Immortal Kings to awaken 100 Shadow Fiends.

The requirement was a bit stacked, but that wasn’t what took Kent aback. "Shadow Fiends, aren’t they those creatures that live in the Shadow Realm?"

His memories of Faceless ended when he was planning to head into the Shadow Realm. Back then, he researched that place thoroughly, so he knew the creatures there were called Shadow Fiends.

They were cursed beings said to have been imprisoned by the Shadow Dao for all eternity.

Hearing that he could now awaken them by killing thousands of immortals sounded all too good to be true. But then again, he had no idea why he would be deceived.

This meant he would indeed awaken them soon.

"But how would they appear, and just where in the heavens am I going to get that many immortals and kill?" he sighed and let the moment wash over him for now.

"I suppose another trump card unlocked."
