Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1549: Forming the First Chaos Heart (5)

Chapter 1549: Forming the First Chaos Heart (5)

[Void Realm]

Seated on a large black stone, a pale man with two dark, twisted horns opened his blue jade eyes and gazed down at a multicolored star several billion light-years away.

His gaze seemed to have pierced through the barriers of the stars. After a few moments, he turned away and smirked...

"So you are finally back, little dragon." A look of disdain filled his eyes and face as he spoke those words.

He made a fist and gritted his teeth, looking at the scar on his arm. "You won the last time, little dragon. This time, however, wait for me to personally slice you into several pieces until there is not even a bit of you left."

During the Primordial Era, he was instructed by the Void Sovereign to march his army to the Infinity Universe and take control of it, just as they had done with several other universes.

He accepted the mission, thinking it would be a walk in the park. Unfortunately for him, when he arrived, an existence he later came to know as the Primordial Chaos Dragon stood in his way, and no matter what he tried, he was there to stop him.

In the end, before he was banished from the Infinity Universe, Chaos made one last attempt to sever his head but ended up carving a large wound into his left arm.

Even after billions of years, the scar still remains.

When he returned to the Void Realm with only one-third of his army, he was banished to the Void Borders and stripped of his role as a Void Monarch, reduced to a mere Void Border Guard.

His unit was absorbed by the other Void Monarchs, and since then, he had been left to rot at the borders.

His defeat, compounded by his failure and polished by his humiliation, fueled his rage, and for billions of years, he waited for Chaos to return. Now that he had returned, he knew it would only be a matter of time before the doom gates opened again.

This time, he wanted to wash away his humiliation and use Chaos’ blood to redeem himself.

For now, he could only bide his time and wait for a chance to reveal itself.

Kent felt a sudden chill seep deep into his body, causing him to sigh. "Ah, my bad luck. It seems an old enemy has sensed my presence and has already started plotting against me."

A pale smile formed on his face, and then he looked at the countdown before his eyes.

[Time Until Upgrade: 2 hours]

The Blood Qi was still being absorbed, but he was now waiting for the Tower to finish her upgrade before he would start the third phase. With the kind of tempering he had in mind, he needed his tower by his side when he went through it all.

For now, he could only wait.

’Ten seconds more to go.’ Kent sighed and started to count down. Just when the countdown struck zero, he felt his connection to the tower reestablish itself, stronger than before.

’Damn.’

Kent felt so much happening within him and inside the tower that he wondered just what had happened to her.

Inside the tower, everyone looked up when the sky suddenly changed color from blue to golden. Then the changes started to manifest.

First, the spiritual qi in the air was purified, becoming even denser. If before the upgrade, it was 10%, it has now increased to at least 250%.

Aside from that, the 13 moons in the sky had also become more visible, and birds appeared in the air. A very vast forest filled with all kinds of spirit beasts also appeared, making it one of the many attractions to appear.

Waterfalls, mountain ranges, and a few other places to explore had also appeared, turning the Tower City into a one-of-a-kind place.

In the other towers, great changes had occurred. Inside the Legion Tower, more training grounds had appeared. The dungeons in there had also undergone some changes—ones that would push the legion into training even more.

The Harem Tower saw some changes as well. As for the Soul, Sword, and Alchemy Towers, Kent would have to review the changes that had occurred there.

The Guardian Tower had also undergone some changes, allowing Kent to better protect his worlds. So far, over 100 gateways have appeared. Through each gateway led to a planet under his protection.

Lastly, one more tower had appeared.

But while all of this was amazing, the main shocking upgrade was the one Kent was staring at.

Just when the upgrade was complete, a small tower materialized before him, and before he could wonder what it was, it transformed into a tiny child.

She had a ponytail, a pair of white angelic wings, and a fluffy tail. She was very cute, almost as cute as a smaller version of Gaia.

"Master... I am human now, hehehe..."

She landed on Kent’s shoulder, planting a kiss on his cheek...

"I can see that, Tower," Kent smiled and asked, "Can I still call you Tower, or do you have a different name? Perhaps I should give you a more human name."

"Tower is okay, master." She jumped, flapping her wings as she landed on Kent’s other shoulder.

"Glad to see you in human form, Tower. Though I have to ask, how were you able to undergo an upgrade when I have yet to become an Immortal?"

Tower smiled cutely and turned her head away slightly.

"I stole some of the master’s soul essence to open a small path to my next upgrade. I figured since the master can’t level up his soul cultivation yet, I would rather undergo a pseudo upgrade so I will be better prepared for when the master forms his Chaos Heart."

She turned and looked at Kent with an apologetic expression. "I hope the master is not mad at me for not asking for permission first."

Kent reached out and poked her cute little cheek. "Don’t be silly, Tower. I can never be mad at you. If anything, why haven’t you done so months ago?"

"Well, the master had just welcomed over 16 million beings into the Tower City, so there was no better time to farm soul essence than at that very moment. Though I have to say, master, I never expected the Tower City to have already grown to this level."

"Me too. I can now feel my soul growing stronger by the second. It is amazing."

Tower nodded. "I guess once the star system in the medium world has been completely taken over by your agents, I can trigger the upgrade mechanism and let it undergo a full upgrade. I will initiate a world upgrade and transform that star system into a Supreme High World."

"You can do that?" Kent furrowed his brow. However, just before Tower could reply to him, a message appeared before him.

[You have fully absorbed the Blood Qi in your system.]

"I guess it’s back to business." Looking at the second message, he smiled wildly and then turned to the Dragon Spirit Essence.

[You have formed 1,000 blood runes. Total: 250,000]

Tower flew back and sat in a lotus posture opposite Kent. "I am ready when you are master."
