Chapter 1560: Entering The Star Gateway
Chapter 1560: Entering The Star Gateway
[Skull City - The Flame Temple]
Every 100 years, the natives of Skull City come to the Flame Temple to pray to the evil god and ask for his mercy and the mercy of the higher beings.
Every last being comes to the Flame Temple, even the aged and children. Even the sick are carried there to pray. This shows a clear respect and dedication to their culture and norms.
The High Priestess handles the gathering, leading the prayers since it is believed her voice is heard first by the evil god and higher beings.
Skull City can be considered a lower realm. It is among the 12 member states, comprising 12 different species of Star Beasts. For as long as they could remember, they had been living in this city.
For years, they faced many obstacles, with the most dire one being the sudden aggression of Stone City. It was said a very long time ago that, when the time comes, every being inside Skull City would have to take up arms and march into battle, for they would have no choice but to kill.
The only downside to this, however, was the fact that the natives of Skull City are pacifists. Killing is not in their nature, so they can only call on their higher beings to come to their aid in these times of great struggle.
As a lower realm, they have a few Immortal-level existences among them, with the High Priestess being the only demigod among them. She is a great healer and a wise leader.
Over the years, she had led her people in building all kinds of defensive formations to protect them. This had protected them for years until the sudden invasion of Stone City.
Now, they could only pray and hope for the best.
In the past, they had received some guidance. However, the past 20,000 years had been radio silent. Even so, they had not stopped and kept praying for the mercy of the higher beings.
A city of over 2 million beings coming together to pray surely must have an impact.
Today, as their prayer was coming to an end, a voice filled with such evil intent whispered in the High Priestess’s ear, and a look of astonishment appeared in her eyes.
It had been a very long time since she heard this voice. Today, it spoke to her again, and so she stood up and made a declaration.
"Light the Skull Bowl, a savior is coming to save us all."
Her words were received with great enthusiasm, with many singing the praises of the unknown higher beings they believed had spoken to them.

[Time Skip]
Meanwhile, three months had already passed on the outside since Kent had formed his Chaos Heart and entered the tower with his wives. Roughly six years had passed inside the tower.
Those years were spent in each other’s arms.
Kent hadn’t set foot outside the Harem Tower for the past few years. He had spent that time making love with his wives over and over again.
During that time, Lene had taken the next step with him, something that was long overdue. As for the rest, he hadn’t made any progress with them yet. However, they are not too far from joining the harem.
However, every good thing must come to an end, so after years spent making them feel loved, he had to leave for his final mission in the High World.
Gaia and her friends had already built the portal that would take him to the Star Gateway, so now that he was ready, it was only a matter of time before he left.
They freshened up and met the others inside the Legion Tower.
"Umai, great to see you once again," Kent said, looking at a silver-haired dragon lady.
She smiled and nodded at him. "Great to see you again, Lord Chaos."
While he was busy making love with his wives, Gaia took charge of the migration process, allowing Umai to relocate to the Dragon City built inside the tower.
There were 2,000 dragons in total under her care. Once they moved to the tower, she was briefed by Uncle Drake, making her aware that the Chaos Dragon had returned and that he owned the space she and her dragons now occupied.
She was both happy and a bit scared, considering that in the past, they had joined their master in fighting him many times. However, now that she had met him, she seemed to have relaxed a bit.
Kent nodded toward Daliah, who became pale but forced herself to nod back. This sight made him smile.
"Well, as you all know, I will be leaving for a few months, perhaps a year or two. While I’m gone, Lady Vexthra will be in charge," Kent paused when he sensed someone tug on his shirt. Looking down, his gaze met Gaia’s, who wore a pout on her face.
"Point of correction, while I am gone, Lady Vexthra and Sweet Gaia will be in charge. Listen to their instructions, and, well, if you need something, feel free to ask them.
I know some of you are eager to ascend to the Immortal World. That will happen, but before I return, be halfway done clearing the dungeon. Inasmuch as this is a free world, you must do some heavy lifting every now and then to keep your bodies active."
They nodded.
"Good. Also, it would be good if you all could form Primordial Spirits by utilizing the Primordial Chambers. Once I return, I will find a way to allow some of you to undergo Heavenly Tribulation to cleanse your bodies of impurities."
They nodded again, and Kent proceeded to leave more instructions.
Once he said all he had to say, he bade everyone goodbye and went to see Queen Eirdis and her daughter Xandira.
Since he would be gone for at least a year, by the time he returned, Xandira would be a little bigger, so he wanted to hold her for a few minutes before leaving.
As expected, for obvious reasons, Xandira was happy to see him. Her laughter filled the garden for a couple of minutes before he managed to make her sleep.
"When I return, we will play some more, little Xandy," Kent planted a kiss on her chubby cheeks and walked away. This sight made his wives smile and plan to hold another meeting when he was gone.
After he left Gaiaville, he went to meet his mom before finally heading to the portal.
"Big Brother, when coming, bring gifts," Yuna said, jumping from one stone to another. Purity and Aala kept following her around.
Kent nodded and promised all his lolis. Afterward, he kissed all his wives and then turned to Inaya.
"The seal will break in 10 days’ time. I have already instructed Baldy to protect you during your tribulation. So rest assured, with him there, you have nothing to worry about."
She nodded.
Kent nodded back and turned to Vexthra. "Take care of them while I am away. I will reward you when I return."
She smiled and nodded.
After a few minutes of kissing them again, he walked through the portal, and after two days, he emerged in front of what appeared to be the entrance to a large, dark cave.
Kent immediately knew he had to enter, so after making sure Tower and a few essentials were transferred into his Soul Universe, he moved forward and entered the cave.
His vision darkened the next second, and when he opened his eyes, he was lying inside a large forest, the sound of someone screaming jolting him to his feet.
