Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1574: Rebirth of the Ruthless Bandit (2)

Chapter 1574: Rebirth of the Ruthless Bandit (2)

The records of the Jade Emperor described some things and some people as beyond the realm of common sense. These people, no matter how closely one looks at them, just don’t make sense.

The records described the Primordial Chaos Dragon as an entity whose nature lies beyond common sense. It was said that his entire existence was so bizarre that making heads or tails of him was just not possible.

Years later, the Ruthless Bandit was born, an existence that also defied the laws of common sense. He stood at the peak of immortality and fought, killed, and slaughtered gods.

The forbidden records speak of him as one of the untamed ones, for he indeed exists outside the realm of common sense.

Many came and left.

Today, the rebirth of the Ruthless Bandit had already sent waves of shock everywhere, causing fear and panic to take root in the hearts of many.

[Infinity Universe - The Celestial Universe Garden]

Inside a lush garden where, aside from life, no other energy could be sensed, sat a man with flowing dark hair drinking tea from a jade cup.

Looking closely at him, he does not appear to be a day over 40, despite already having lived for billions of years. His handsomeness trumps that of many men.

At some point, he was known as the most handsome man in the entire universe.

While no beauty contest was held to determine whether those claims were true, given his perfect bone structure, there is no doubt that his handsomeness ranks among the top 10.

But while his good looks will score him some brownie points, it is the aura around him that would cause anyone to look at him with interest.

He has the aura of a Celestial, but hidden within it, a profound aura that can’t be explained lingers. This aura gives him a presence that would force even a Celestial at their peak to bow before him.

If Jest (Kent’s incarnation, known widely as Lord Genesis) were around, he would have recognized this aura, for in his final moments during the divine era, he felt it—the aura of a half-step Primordial.

This man’s name is Han Tan, the 14th Celestial Supreme, leader of the Universe Council.

Nobody really knows how the Celestial Supremes are selected, only that at the end of every era, a new one is revealed to the universe, every last one of them from the same lineage.

Han Tan has existed since the beginning of this era, and for billions of years, he has been preparing for the arrival of people he deemed a threat to the universe.

Today, he senses the emergence of perhaps the greatest of them all.

He lifted his teacup and was about to take a sip of his tea when a crack appeared at the bottom, and the tea started to spill out.

"Hmmm," he hummed, his brow tightening a bit.

Throwing his head to the left, his gaze penetrated space and time, looking beyond the borders of the universe. As someone blessed by the very heavens, he has special privileges that allow him to do more than the ordinary being.

So as his gaze penetrated the void, he knew he would be able to spot the threat and clip it in the bud before it sprouted and bloomed into a threat he could not handle.

This was not his first rodeo.

However, just when he was about to find the location of the threat, a golden eye with a red pupil opened, releasing a wave of unfathomable energy, the kind that rendered all forms of authority Han Tan had null and void.

The void and the very fabric of the universe shattered when this eye opened.

Seated inside the garden, Han Tan shut his eyes instantly, green blood coming from the corners.

"W-What was that?" he muttered, a frown appearing on his face.

"A dragon..." As someone who knows everything from the dawn of this universe, he recognized the eye immediately.

However, he just could not understand whose eye that was or why they protected the presence he believed was the Ruthless Bandit.

For a moment, the look of panic settled in his heart. He is among the beings who stand at the peak of the universe. He sees himself as an Absolute, but with a mere gaze, he was defeated.

The feeling of defeat and weakness washed over his heart, making him frown deeper. Suddenly, a subtle wave of red energy began seeping from his body, causing the green life in the garden to begin drying out.

After sitting inside the garden for a moment, he stood up, and with a simple step, he vanished into thin air

[Core of the Universe - Lady Universe’s POV]

Seated on her usual throne, Lady Universe watched everything happening to Kent inside the Star Realm with a calm expression.

Many years ago, she and every Dao in existence tried to prevent the birth of Ruthless Bandit simply because, from their perspective, that power was foreign and, as such, they had no hold over it.

The Dao of Evil originated from outside this universe, so it doesn’t fall under their laws.

However, after many attempts that ultimately ended in abysmal failure, they gave up and watched as the Ruthless Bandit emerged, bringing pain and horror to the universe.

They tried to raise many heroes to kill him; however, just when they were almost about to succeed, an existence locked in the void stopped them.

This existence was one none of them could comprehend, so when he intervened, they all stepped back.

To their shock, however, when the time came for the universe to face the ultimate trial, the one who stood at the vanguard was the same person they had tried many times to kill.

Today, watching as Kent undergoes his rebirth, finally reclaiming a part of his shattered soul, she could only sigh.

She knew the Kent she knew would change when this transformation was over. That, and the fact that the existence she just couldn’t understand had moved to shield him again, made her feel uneasy.

Turning away from the cocoon that would soon be hatching, her gaze landed on a slumbering dragon inside the void.

"Just who are you, and what do you want with him?" she asked in a hushed tone, perhaps afraid the figure would hear her. For a moment, her expression changed, but then she sighed and turned back to Kent’s cocoon.

"My existence is one even I don’t know. But rest assured, when the time comes, you will finally understand everything."

The reply entered her ear and mind, sinking deep into her heart.

Surprisingly, the voice was rather calm. It sounded distant and, for a moment, familiar. However, before she could digest everything, the cocoon cracked, and waves of evil Qi gushed out.

---

The cocoon cracked, and from within, waves of insidious energy poured out. It widened the next second, and this time a dark flame burst out, engulfing the garden.

ROAR

A loud roar came from the cocoon, shattering it instantly. From within, a bone dragon rose into the air and circled around. Wherever it moved, dark flames followed.

On the ground, Kent’s figure was revealed.

He looked pale, almost like all the blood in his body had been sucked out.

On his forehead, his dragon horns stood, now completely black in color instead of dark gold. His body was of the same size, but on his back, 12 metallic tendril extended from his tattered cloak armor.

His eyes were dark with white pupils. His hair had shortened, only touching his shoulders. Aside from that, around his waist, a dark silver belt remained fastened, a black wooden-covered grimoire hanging loose from it.

Finally, hovering four inches off his back, a skull-shaped diagram bathed in dark flames spun, every revolution causing the air to shimmer.

"HMMM"

Kent let out a sigh, then he lifted his gaze up.

"RYOA..." he called out, and lightning and thunder echoed in the clouds. His bone dragon, which had at one point entered the clouds, descended like a mountain toward Kent.

Just when he was a meter away, it transformed into a black spear decorated in all kinds of eldritch symbols and entered his waiting grip.
