Kent muttered, staring at a vast ice domain spanning several kilometers wide.
He had no idea just how vast the Tormented Chaos Abyss is, but staring at the domain of the Frozen Tree Dragon, he could tell it was indeed vast.
His first target was the Frozen Tree Dragon, a chaos beast made purely from plant and ice. It is a dragon, but one from the tree dragon race.
Because of its unique composition, it wielded both the Ice and Wood elements. Naturally, as a peak demigod, its control over ice and wood was on a whole different level.
However, despite knowing all this, Kent had no fear in his eyes as he gazed at the large dragon about 600 km away from his location.
"I wonder why I haven’t yet formed an Ice Core,"
Tower hovered beside him. "The master is required to find an Ice Source first before thinking about forming an Ice Core. Of course, with the amount of Ice Qi the master currently has stored, he can harness it to fight even beings like this dragon.
Even if the master runs out of ice essence, the master can convert chaos qi or even Blood qi."
Kent smiled and jumped off the mountain, landing softly on the ground. "Then how about I test my ice abilities on this Tree Dragon?"

Kent nodded and then took flight. A few seconds later, he transformed into a large dragon, his wings spread wide, and a powerful chaos essence started oozing off his body.
With a single flap of his wings, he closed the gap between them by several km.

He let out a powerful roar that resonated throughout the entire ice domain, the Frozen Tree Dragon commanded.
He wanted to announce his presence, and so, tapping into his [Chaos Monarch’s Sovereignty] innate+ ability, he did just that.
What Kent never expected was the reaction he received when he [Chaos Monarch’s Sovereignty] on the Frozen Tree Dragon.
Maybe it was because Kent had forgotten he had now become a True Immortal, so he unleashed his [Chaos Monarch’s Sovereignty] in full capacity.
Due to that reckless action, just as he closed in on the Tree Dragon, it quickly transformed into a humanoid form and went down on its knees, its body trembling like it was made of a massage chair.
Kent came to a halt 100 meters away and transformed into his humanoid form, astonishment appearing on his face.

"Hold on a minute," Kent was practically stunned at this point. "Aren’t you like a demigod or something? Why are you cowering before me like a little coward?"
Even if he were a Monarch, the mere fact that his cultivation base was only at the True Immortal stage shouldn’t have been enough to scare a demigod to this point.
Kenthad already seen from Chaos’s memories the kind of influence he commanded when he became a Monarch. Back then, he was able to make Immortal Kings, Emperors, and some Immortal Monarchs submit to him when he was a True Immortal.
Against Immortal Lords, not all submitted.
In fact, out of ten Immortal Lords, only two submitted to him, so he knew for a fact he could not count on the [Chaos Monarch’s Sovereignty] to force this demigod chaos beast to become his contracted beast.
Using the [Chaos Monarch’s Sovereignty] was merely his way of announcing his presence in the Tormented Layer.
He never intended to use it to suppress anyone, not when he came to test his combat power. If his opponents surrender before he attacks, how would that help him?
"If calling me a coward would be enough to win this young lord’s mercy, then I, Yggzrael, am willing to accept whatever name and title you have for me."
Kent facepalmed, a pale smile appearing on his face.
"Stand up first."
Watching as Yggzrael slowly stood up, his gaze lowered, not daring to look Kent in the eye, a pale smile formed on Kent’s face.
’This is unbelievable.’ Kent turned and looked at Tower, who averted her gaze, almost as if she had expected this to happen.
"Tell me, Yggzrael, why did you surrender when you could have fought back?"
"The young lord carries the aura of a Monarch, so naturally, I am obligated to bow before you as a sign of respect. Failure to do so means my death, and I do not want to die just yet,"
"Well, nobody wants to die, Yggzrael. However, from where I stand, you are a demigod while I am merely a True Immortal. Shouldn’t that be all the reason you need to fight me and kill me?"
"I wouldn’t dare raise my weapon against the Young Lord."
"Oh, why not?"
"Because the Young Lord carries the aura of a Monarch. Monarchs are only found in the Chaos and Abyss Layer, so even if the Young Lord has the strength of a True Immortal, I wouldn’t dare fight you."
"Oh, so that is the reason, huh?" Kent laughed, a bit amused.
It appeared that in the Tormented Chaos Abyss, beasts with the bloodline aura of a Monarch were found only in the Chaos and Abyss Layer, the deepest and most dangerous layer in all of the Tormented Chaos Abyss.
"Tell me, Yggzrael, have you ever been to the Abyss Layer?"
"No, Young Lord. However, I have heard stories of that layer." Yggzrael paused, slowly raised his head, and looked Kent in the eye. "If the Young Lord wishes, I would like to share what I know."
While Kent wanted to laugh and say, "Wasn’t he the same person who claimed Kent was from the Abyss Layer and, by extension, that he should already know more about that place than Kent?" Kent swallowed his question and decided to hear what he had to say.
He retrieved two spirit fruits and threw one at Yggzrael. "Let’s sit first."
Yggzrael nodded and rapidly bent the ice to form two chairs for them. Kent occupied one, and Yggzrael took the other.
"Although I came to test my combat abilities, seeing my [Chaos Monarch’s Sovereignty] in action can be considered a win." Kent smiled and turned to Yggzrael.
"Go ahead, tell me what you know of the Abyss Layer."
Yggzrael nodded and started to reveal all he knew of the Abyss Layer.

While Yggzrael was speaking with Kent, three demigod beasts stood firmly in their respective domains, panicked expressions on their faces.
They were the other three demigod beasts in the Northern Region.
Just now, they felt a terrifying presence appear in the Northern Region, causing them all to drop whatever they were doing and prepare to face whatever danger was coming their way.
"I wonder who Yggzrael has offended," Morveth said, his gaze turned toward Yggzrael’s domain.
"Has Lord Crimson finally come out of seclusion and decided to absorb our domains?" Baelgor, or as most call him, Mammoth, muttered, the look of fear appearing on his face.
In the other region, Kryzoth shuddered and drew in a cold breath, his gaze narrowing toward Yggzrael’s domain. "Whatever that was, I had better prepare to go all out, or else I might die before I get my hands on that scum."
While the three demigod beasts of the Northern Region prepared to handle the presence that had appeared inside their domain, the other regions also felt Kent’s overwhelming presence, and so they started to prepare for his inevitable arrival.
Kent had no idea that by forming his Chaos Heart and awakening as a True Evil, his presence had undergone several mutations, making it even more overwhelming than that of other Monarchs.
The current him carried the aura of a Chaos Dragon, True Evil, Flame Tyrant, and Blood Warlock. Soon, his Dragon Intent would awaken, and all hell would break loose.
