[You have received 50% of Yggzrael’s soul power]

Kent’s soul surged, waves of overwhelming power seeping deep into his body. The contract was formed, and the benefits were immediate.

He had expected his soul to become stronger after forming the Grim Contract with Yggzrael, since that was the nature of the contract. However, what he felt was beyond anything he had expected.

Already, his soul cultivation had reached Tier 30. That made him an Immortal Lord in soul cultivation.

However, judging by how vast his soul sea was and the fact that the soul universe had become much more powerful, even demigods could not contend with him in soul arts.

However, after all this, Yggzrael still managed to strengthen his soul to the point where he saw a profound change. He even felt his soul universe expand.

That was beyond anything he had expected.

’Makes me wonder who created the Grim Contract,’ Kent smiled and turned to look at Yggzrael.

Seeing the dazed look that had appeared on his face, Kent could tell he was in shock, and perhaps more blown away than he was.

Naturally, that was indeed true. Yggzrael had never expected the changes he felt to happen the moment he formed the contract with Kent.

He was a dragon, so naturally, arrogance was his nature. However, from the moment Kent appeared before him, his arrogance vanished, replaced by respect and fear.

Kent terrified him, but his strength made him respect him. Now, however, he did not know what to even think.

"Until today, my bloodline had not undergone the evolution to become Divine. However, I can feel an evolution rising deep within me. Soon, I believe I will become a Divine Beast."

The happiness on his face and in his voice made Kent smile.

Kent had already discovered that there are actually four groups, grades, levels, or ranks of blood essence.

Five, if the common grade is added.

The first of them is the Divine grade, where beasts or humans with such blood essence were known as Divine Beasts or Divine Beings.

Vexthra and the rest of her sisters were at this stage. Below that grade were ordinary beings who could be classified as common.

The second stage is the Monarch stage.

At this stage, Beast Monarchs such as the Primordial Chaos Dragon, who ruled the Primordial Era, could be put in this category. This rank makes them super powerful and more domineering.

However, it had been rumored above the monarch stage that there is another grade known as Overlord. They ranked above Monarchs. In fact, just one Overlord is powerful enough to take on thousands of Monarchs.

Kent had reason to believe that the beings hidden within the Abyss layer are probably Overlords. He could not confirm that yet, but he intended to find out when Princess Pandora’s main body awakened and found him.

The last rank, however, had only been mentioned once. Kent had no idea whether they existed, but he was not about to be arrogant and say they did not, because he believed they did.

Tyrants existed, but he prayed he would not meet them just yet.

Even he, who was a Monarch, was already terrifying enough. How much more terrifying would a Tyrant be?

"Rest assured, Yggzrael, with me around, becoming a Monarch one day is not impossible."

With the knowledge he had received during the Tower’s upgrade, he was confident that, aside from him, the people around him would soon become much more powerful.

Yggzrael nodded and allowed himself to feel happy. After savoring his joy for a few minutes, he turned toward Kent and knelt down.

"I pledge on my Chaos Core that I, Yggzrael, will follow the Young Master through thick and thin. I will give my life to protect the Master."

As if to prove his loyalty, he waved his hand, and a storage pouch appeared. He presented it to Kent.

"Contained in this pouch are all the valuable treasures I have collected over the thousands of years I ruled this domain."

Kent smiled and received the gift he was being offered. As someone who liked to take what did not belong to him, he was not about to deny such valuables.

Peeking inside, a broad smile formed on his face. "Oh my, so many goodies."

Yggzrael smiled, a part of him cursing himself for presenting everything to Kent. However, recalling the benefits he had reaped after becoming Kent’s contracted beast, he let himself calm down.

Now, aside from cultivating like normal people, he would never meet bottlenecks in his cultivation path. That alone was more than enough for him to give everything he owned to Kent.

Kent reached into the pouch and pulled out a green fruit oozing the power of chaos. It looked like an orange, but slightly bigger. On its surface, small runes could be seen.

"Verdant Abyss Corefruit." Kent brought it close to his nose and smelled it, his eyes sparkling.

He looked at Yggzrael and smiled. "Thanks, buddy. With this, I will make so much progress."

Yggzrael nodded at his master. "I am happy I can help the Young Master."

Kent sat in a lotus posture and decided to eat the Verdant Abyss Corefruit first. However, knowing it might take him a few days to absorb everything, he decided to put Yggzrael to work first.

"Yggzrael, visit the other domains and tell them to come see me in five days’ time. Failure to do so means they have chosen death."

"I will do as you command, Young Master."

Kent nodded and watched as Yggzrael sped off toward the domain of the second demigod beasts in the Northern Region.

"With this fruit, I will awaken my Dragon Intent and even push my Chaos Heart close to saturation."

Perhaps already eager to taste the essence, Kent took a bite out of the Verdant Abyss Corefruit, and the pure chaos essence seeped deep into his body.

Feeling the power strengthen his body, he smiled and took another bite. The Dragon Intent seed trembled as waves of chaos essence were absorbed into it.

In less than three hours, Kent consumed the entire fruit and waited for the essence to be completely absorbed.

Meanwhile, after Yggzrael left his domain, he made his way toward Morveth’s domain. Morveth is one of the demigods in the northern region. He is a Mid-level Demigod known mostly as the Night Crow Sovereign.

He came from a race called Chaos Ravens, so when it came to speed and aerial combat, he could be counted among the top ten in the Tormented Layer.

After he heard the roar come from Yggzrael’s domain, he was on high alert. So even long before Yggzrael reached his domain, he had sensed the approaching figure.

What he never expected, however, was to see Yggzrael when he had anticipated him to be dead, considering the pressure he felt came from Yggzrael’s domain.

But seeing Yggzrael appear in his domain, he was taken aback.

His shock, however, intensified when he sensed that Yggzrael had become much stronger than he was the last time they met.

Yggzrael was a Peak-level Demigod, while Morveth was a Mid-level Demigod. However, judging by the aura now coming off Yggzrael, it was about three times his previous strength.

"Yggzrael, what happened to you?"

Morveth asked, his expression narrowing.

Yggzrael smiled and flicked his hair back. "What, were you expecting to hear that I died?"

To his utter shock, Morveth nodded. "Of course I expected you to die. After all, the presence I felt was that of a Monarch. How are you still alive?"

"Tsk." Yggzrael smirked and said, "I am still alive simply because the Young Lord spared my life and allowed me to become his subordinate." He paused, letting the frown on Morveth’s face deepen.

"In fact, I am here because the Young Master wants you to become his subordinate too."
