Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1691: Proper Reunion

Chapter 1691: Proper Reunion

Unlike swordsmanship, where a swordsman’s rank is determined by both their mastery and their sword realm or domain, in alchemy, it is all about soul power, technique, and flames.

If an alchemist possesses all three, then they can easily rise through the ranks.

Initially, Kent had limitations in some areas, keeping him at levels he couldn’t rise above.

However, after ascending to the Immortal Realm, his soul had undergone countless changes, and with the memories of Kevin Sage returning to him, he can now be compared to a Pill God.

Of course, it would take some practice and polishing before he could concoct Immortal-grade pills and above.

However, with time on his side and a requirement to meet, he knew that nothing would stop him from participating in the Intergalactic Alchemy Competition.

He may be a Pill Legend, but when it comes to true mastery, even Pill Immortals would find themselves competing against him.

Elder Zhen Kai still seemed hesitant, not because of what he thought, but because letting a Pill Legend represent the Eastern Pill Immortal Council sounded like an insult to the other Pill Immortals who had already been selected.

Kent could read his thoughts from his expression, so he found a way to help him relax a little.

"You clearly came here to invite Pill God Flura to participate in the Intergalactic Alchemy Competition, right? So, how about this? Since she is now overqualified, why don’t you give her spot to me?

Of course, if anyone has a problem with that, they can come challenge me any day, at any time. While I hate stealing the spotlight from my friends, I wouldn’t mind concocting a pill that hasn’t been seen for billions of years."

He let out a chuckle while Elder Zhen Kai and Pill God Flura both seemed interested in hearing more about such a pill.

Of course, Kent knew they would be curious, but since he had no reason to create a spectacle for now, at least not until Pill God Flura’s fame died down, he simply smiled and brushed the matter aside.

"Since that is the case, then I will report to the Pill Council that you will be the tenth candidate representing the Eastern Region. However, make sure to report to the council before the competition begins."

Elder Zhen Kai knew he stood no chance against Kent, so he conceded while the brat was still willing to play nice.

What Kent had displayed today was more than enough to demonstrate the kind of monster he truly was.

His name appeared on three Dao Tablets, two of which were combat-oriented tablets. So while he might be a great alchemist, he was also a deadly swordsman and the wielder of a True Ice Element.

"I will surely come, Elder Zhen Kai," Kent replied.

To become a Pill Divine, he had to win the Intergalactic Alchemy Competition, so securing a place among the participants was a step in the right direction.

Surprisingly, his life in the Immortal Realm was shaping up to be one of the best periods of his journey back to the peak, like it had been in all 13 lives he had lived.

Perhaps he would even surpass that level this time around.

After Elder Zhen Kai left, Kent proceeded to outline several rules regarding how the distribution of the Soul Tempering Pill would be handled through the Dream Pill Emporium, the one-stop store for all things pill-related owned and managed by the infamous Lady Veth.

Once that was settled, Kent took Flura, Veth, Ursa, and Bryna into the tower, arriving at the Tower Garden. Unlike Sylvara and Vey, who had practically run straight into his bed, Flura and Veth were different.

In fact, among the women he had met while traveling through the Pill World, Veth, Lady Wu, and Flura were the only ones with whom nothing particularly serious had happened.

So he brought them to the garden rather than the Harem Tower.

"This place is wonderful," Veth said as she looked around the beautiful garden.

Flura and the others felt the same. The beauty of the garden took all of them by surprise.

Lili Thara jumped down and immediately started running around, chasing butterflies throughout the garden.

"Everyone, welcome to my home. It is a place accessible only to me unless, of course, I grant you permission to come and go as you please.

In here, there is no such thing as suffering, so make yourselves at home because this is where you will be spending most of your time from now on."

They nodded, none of them opposed to the arrangement he had for them. Even without Kent saying anything, they all felt at peace simply standing within the garden.

Ursa and Bryna began looking around some more, using that as an excuse to give Kent some privacy for a proper reunion with Veth and Flura.

They both hugged Kent the moment they got some privacy. It had been a while since they had last seen him, so the hug lasted for a couple of minutes.

"I miss you ladies," Kent said, flashing a handsome smile.

"We miss you, too, Kent."

They shared another hug, and then Kent started asking about their lives and how they had managed during the 370,000-plus years they had been apart.

Veth told him all about the adventures she had while building the Dream Pill Emporium, one of the largest and most powerful Pill stores in the Eastern Region. She had cemented her position as one of the wealthiest people in the Immortal Realm.

As for Flura, her 370,000 years had been spent studying alchemy, hoping to surpass Kent when they met again.

"I have surpassed you, Kent," she said again, a happy smile on her face.

Indeed, she had surpassed him in rank. After all, she had just become a Pill God while Kent was merely a Pill Legend. However, in terms of experience, she was still severely lacking.

Kent was the wisest and most intelligent man who had ever lived. On top of that, he was one of the most accomplished alchemists the universe had ever seen. So, saying that she had surpassed such a person was just too cute.

His memories were returning to him every now and then, so surpassing him was simply impossible.

But Kent wanted her to be happy, and Flura herself knew Kent wanted her to have this moment. So, she allowed herself to be happy, and that alone was more than enough for Kent to see her happy.

"I am proud of you, Flura," Kent said, giving her hand a gentle squeeze. "With how fast you are growing, there is no telling what you will be able to accomplish in the near future."

She smiled and nodded. "I will work hard to do more than I have done now."

"Then be ready to become one of the best because, guess what? There are many alchemists, but only a few have managed to impress the Pill Dao.

You are now one of them, but compared to the achievements of those who came before you, you must become even more impressive.

The universe needs more alchemists, but it also needs those who can make a huge difference."

"I will, Kent. While I am perhaps the weakest among all eighteen names, I will one day become one of the strongest and the best."

"I have no doubt you will, Flura." Kent laughed and continued to chat with the two ladies.

Meanwhile, outside, word of what had happened at the Everlasting Pill Mountain continued to travel from one planet to another, reaching as many people as possible.

Aside from that, the appearance of a Living Pill and the offer given to everyone had started causing many to go all out, chasing after treasures to use in exchange for just one Soul Tempering Pill.

At the same time, Axten had returned to the God Realm and started moving to Pill God Brandon’s private world.
