Chapter 1774: Tell Me Everything
Chapter 1774: Tell Me Everything
Unlike Kent’s past life as Kevin Sage, who hated his siblings from his mother’s side, Kalimndra, the lazy prince whom many looked down on, loved his big sister dearly.
She had protected him when many thought he was useless. And when she discovered his secret identity, she didn’t expose him as most people would have.
She understood him and knew letting him continue as he was would be helpful to him. So for several years, Kalimndra maintained his peace.
Because of this, he had grown grateful to her, and so when he saw her get pulled into an unfamiliar portal, Kalimndra became so furious that he went all out, breaking his limits and unlocking so much power that by the time he reached a certain point of power, everyone had stopped fighting and simply watched him decimate the Sun Demons until the very last one.
Everyone has their reverse scale.
Kalimndra’s reverse scale was Fiannarel, who was both overprotective of him and his biggest inspiration. So Chaos Dragon or not, his emotions ran wild, and for ten full minutes, he simply embraced his sister.
Tribe Leader Zdzislav, who was known for his player lifestyle, could only sigh, wishing he were in Kent’s position, hugging such a beauty. Too bad for him, because Kent would never allow a bastard like him to come near his sister.
In fact, if he tried, he would be the first Eternal in history to fall to the claws of a Demigod Dragon.
After ten full minutes of emotional reunion, Kent pulled back and stared his sister in the eye, almost as if to make sure she was indeed her.
While he had changed due to reincarnation, she remained the same, only much more beautiful.
Just like most Elves, she possessed long silver hair with strands of red running through it. She had pale white skin, a testament to her affinity for the Everlasting Dream Sacred Flame, which was naturally white.
She stood with an athletic physique and broad hips, perfectly capturing her striking figure. Her ruby-like blue eyes, of course, had left many wondering whether a person could be both beautiful in shape and in the eyes.
She was gorgeous by all standards.
Kent, after confirming she was indeed the person he had missed for years, hugged her again. This time, it lasted only a few minutes before he pulled back once more.
"Big sister," Kent said, looking back at her with an emotional expression...
Fiannarel smiled and brushed Kent’s purple hair to the side. "You have become much taller, Kalimndra," she said, causing Kent to realize he was still in his demi-human form.
He quickly reverted to his human form, but even so, he stood 6’5" tall, three inches taller than her.
"Much better," she smiled beautifully, then apologized, "I am sorry for not being by your side until the very end, Kalimndra. Everything happened so fast that before I knew it, I was in this world with no way back to you. I really am sorry."
"No need to apologize for anything, big sister. I thought you were dead. Now that I have finally found you, I don’t care about anything else."
Hearing Kent’s reply, she smiled happily and nodded.
Then she began examining Kent’s body. After a few seconds of making sure he was alright, she asked the question on her mind...
"How...?"
"It is a long story, big sister."
"Tell me everything," she said, waving her hand. A sofa-like chair appeared for them to sit on. Naturally, she sat down, placed her head on Kent’s shoulder, and hugged his arm.
Kent, who wanted to use the excuse that the tribe leaders were waiting for him, had to abandon that thought, for he knew the kind of person his sister was.
Until she was satisfied, nobody else would get to have a moment with her baby brother. So he started to narrate everything that had happened after she was sucked into the portal and found herself here.
"After you left, which I thought meant you had died, I lost it and went berserk, killing as though that was my purpose in the universe. However, during that time, I also started to unlock the hidden abilities we had tried several times and failed to awaken.
Thanks to that, I managed to face the four Primordials and won. However, the last one managed to block the arrow I fired at his past self, and his present self came close to killing me.
But father stepped in and used his life to save mine." Kent sighed, thinking about the moment his father, who had always hated him, or so he thought, was taken down by a spear through the heart just so he could live on.
"He came through for me in the end, big sister. Because of that, we won. We celebrated the victory and mourned our losses. After that, I left our planet to travel to all the places we had planned to visit after the war.
After years of roaming, I returned home to bid farewell to the family before entering the cycle of reincarnation."
Fiannarel sighed and turned to look at Kent. "I knew father had been harsh on you, but deep down, he cared for you. In fact, I told him about your other identity a few weeks after I found out, but instead of making a fuss about it, he actually told me to keep an eye on you.
He was a good man and a great father. More importantly, he was also a great and brave warrior."
"That he was. I just hope he reincarnates too. I owe him an apology and a whole father-son bonding session."
Fiannarel chuckled. "As if reincarnation is that simple. Even as an Eternal, we haven’t figured out reincarnation yet. If it were that simple, I would have done it long ago and returned to the Infinity Universe.
It just happens without anyone controlling it. Sometimes the reincarnation is partial; sometimes, as with you, it is true, since you have your past-life memories. But nobody can navigate it."
Kent smiled and answered, "I figured it out a long time ago, big sister. In fact, I figured out the Origin of Life, Death, and Rebirth during the Primordial Era and have been using it for eras."
Fiannarel furrowed her brow and sat upright, looking back at the smug Kent. "What do you mean?"
Kent laughed and replied, "What I mean is that Kalimndra isn’t the only life I’ve lived. In fact, during the Primordial Era, I was known as the Primordial Chaos Dragon, Mom’s idol, and during the Divine Era, I was known as Lord Genesis, your idol.
It all started during the Primordial Era with a spell known as the Spell of Origin."
Fiannarel’s eyes widened as she looked at Kent with a dumbfounded expression. Never in the billions of years she had lived had she ever considered the possibility that her brother was someone she had idolized for years.
She had been infatuated with Lord Genesis to the point that whenever anything about him surfaced, she would do everything in her power either to acquire it or to get to the bottom of it.
That was how much she admired Lord Genesis. So to think he had been her little brother all along, she simply couldn’t wrap her mind around it.
After several minutes of processing what she had heard, a sigh escaped her lips.
"I guess that explains so many things. Perhaps it also explains why you are here."
