Chapter 1819: End of the Dark War
Chapter 1819: End of the Dark War
"Finally," Runa muttered, lowering her bow as ice seeped from her body, mixed with green colored lightning.
She, alongside Arien and Elina, had been sent to a god world where one of the Dark Gates had opened.
This god world had a population of 200 million, but only a million were warriors. The rest were scholars, people who strove for peace and knowledge.
Out of the million warriors, 10,000 were gods, with the rest ranging between the Demigod and True Immortal stages.
Naturally, the moment over a hundred thousand God-tier Dark Fiends appeared, the planet was doomed. There was no way they could handle such a tide of devastating Dark Fiends.
It appeared the Dark Empress had done her homework, picking the most vulnerable worlds to infest with her insidious spell.
Thankfully, just when things turned dire for them, the three ladies, alongside some of Veera’s undead warriors and Shade King Nykali’s soul wraiths, arrived and, as they were instructed, started killing just to save the natives.
Runa’s arrows were like missiles fired from powerful war machines. She is a member of the 14 Chronicles of the Storm, a team that rose from mere slaves to universe-shaping warriors whose arrows dominated the Great War.
Runa herself did the universe a great service during the Great War. Back then, when the Universe Guardians betrayed the Universe and the Chaos Dragon, things reached a point where, if no miracle occurred, Chaos wouldn’t be able to finish the Spell of Origin.
At that moment, it was Runa, then known as Aelthyr, who made the ultimate sacrifice. She burned her soul and bloodline to unleash an arrow that reversed time by an hour.
Within that hour bought for Chaos, he was able to finish the spell that brought the 13 Legions from the future. Her sacrifice gave the universe one last hope, and that hope saved everyone.
Today, she graced the battlefield with her chilling and devastating presence. Just like some of her sisters, she also uses a bow, and she is damn good with it.
Runa stood atop a stone parapet overlooking the vast battlefield that she and her sisters, alongside the guardians of Planet XBX, had protected, clad in silk armour.
Green, lush hair fell down her back, crackling with energy, and her deep green eyes also seemed to capture the chilling moment around her. She is undoubted one of the most beautiful women in the universe.
Her large, majestic bow, lined with ice and lightning runes, remained in her arms.
"I need a cold bath and good rest." She had gone out of her way to unleash some arrows that her current body wasn’t strong enough to handle. However, to ensure they ended the battle on a good note, she didn’t hesitate.
"Hey, are you coming down or what?" Arien called out from the ground, looking up at Runa, who seemed to have been caught up in the moment.
Looking down, she smiled at her sister, then jumped and landed before her. They embraced each other, knowing that even though Kent never came to watch them fight, the three of them, despite being Demigods, had each killed over a hundred gods.
Even if those gods didn’t have their own divinity and domains, they were gods regardless, each wielding divine qi, so their victory wasn’t one to look down on.
"I know I only recently joined the harem, but if you have to look at it, I knew Kent the longest, so don’t exempt me from the group hug," Elina said with a pout as she walked toward her sisters.
They opened their arms, and she jumped in like the spoiled brat she is.
This was her first official major battle after she had become the Nine Tribulation Dragon. So far, she had proven herself worthy of the power Kent had given her.
In the battle, the tactic that helped them was largely shaped by Elina’s overwhelming strength and the power of her Tribulation Lightning.
Arien, being a Foxkin who specializes in illusions, used a large portion of her power to create a very powerful illusion. While she knew she wasn’t at the point where she could affect thousands of Dark Fiends, she was confident she could affect them long enough for Elina to eliminate them.
As for Runa, her job was to watch her sisters’ backs, especially Arien’s, and make sure she wasn’t attacked in any way while her illusion was up.
Their teamwork was solid, and now it appeared they had each reached their limit.
Arien still looked as radiant as ever.
Her fluffy fox ears were streaked with soft silver-white fur. Long, flowing moon-silver hair with subtle violet streaks cascaded down her back like a waterfall. Her facial features were as flawless and sharp as ever, making her even more beautiful.
A mage’s robe, woven from Void Silk and layered with spatial threads, fitted her body perfectly.
As she looked at the beauty whom they had been told to keep alive no matter what, Arien’s silver eyes sparkled with love and joy. Elina was just like Unity; every one of her sisters wanted to protect her.
The two of them had been the most unfortunate in their past lives.
Just when they broke their hug, a couple of the warriors they had fought alongside approached them.
"Thank you, fairies, for aiding us in saving our planet. If you all don’t mind, we would like to thank you properly if you could follow us to the palace, where the Queen has humbly invited you."
Arien and her sisters exchanged glances.
A few seconds later, they made their decision.
Since their man grew stronger by becoming the guardian of worlds, then why not use this opportunity to make this planet one of his vassal worlds?
They followed them, but they made sure to inform their sisters on the other planets, some of whom were already meeting the leaders. They knew what was good for their man, so they weren’t wasting any time.
The battles on all 250 planets ended just as Kent wanted. Though many died, it was better than no one surviving or the planets getting destroyed.
Kent had managed to make it to 102 planets before the battles ended. Thankfully, none of his wives sustained any life-threatening injuries. Of course, some of his subordinates perished, but as long as he lived, they wouldn’t die permanently.
The last planet he appeared on was one where the battle would have overwhelmed everyone had it not been for one particular warrior he never knew would one day become this important.
When they first met, he was the son of a very evil man and someone who thought he could have Lilian for himself. That thought soon left his mind when he met Kent and got thoroughly trashed.
Later, Kent rescued him after his family had sent him away to die. He became a member of Kent’s inner circle, and over the years, under the tutelage of Kaizo and most of his legion, Krex had become a fine warrior.
But Krex was a cockroach, someone who just wouldn’t die even if he wanted to. He was incredibly hard to kill, and in this battle, he had proven to Kent why he deserved to be part of his legion.
Kent wanted to approach him to express his appreciation.
However, just before he could make a move, Vexthra’s voice entered his mind, causing him to open a portal back to the Supreme World.
"Uhm, my love, the Blood Empress requests your presence."
Kent walked through the portal, and the next second, he was back on the Supreme Planet, where the battle had already come to an end. However, the sky was now painted red, and a beauty stood in the air whom Kent had recognized long before she arrived.
