Damba grinned, his expression turning twisted. "No hard feelings, Inaya, but as you can see, she is a threat to the two of us, and as such, she has to die. I never meant for you to get entangled in all of this, but your presence is what we needed most to flush her out."
He turned and looked at Ruby, who stood there calmly, her expression still soft and relaxed, almost as if, despite being a Pseudo-Primordial, she wasn't bothered that two Primordials had surrounded her.
"You already know that this domain cannot have a third Primordial. It is simply impossible. We are already short on resources, so having you here will hurt business.
This is why you must die, since you refuse to submit to either of us."
Damba's words were followed by the Ash Maiden, whose voice was as ashen as her appearance. "The green-faced bastard is right. The other six who refused have already been put down. You, however, had to prove your stubbornness by still refusing to bend the knee.
Now that we have finally managed to flush you out, you can say we will finally be rid of you. Then we can go back to fighting each other," she laughed, her voice spreading throughout the Blood Variant Pool.
Ruby looked at the two Primordials and smirked. "So that's how it is, huh? Three eras ago, you two tried to kill me but failed, so what makes you think you can succeed now?"
Damba smirked. "Three eras ago, she wasn't here. And from what you revealed back then, it is clear that you are obsessed with her. So tell me, now that she is in danger, are you going to run or fight? If you run, she dies. If you fight, you die."
