Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1861 Fated

Chapter 1861 Fated

"What happened?" Kent asked the moment he opened his eyes.

Lady Kenzie turned to Fiannarel, who had been with her when he woke up. While she stayed because she is literally Kent's life spirit, Fiannarel came because she wanted to be with her brother.

Fiannarel nodded to Lady Kenzie, who then told Kent what had happened.

By the time she was done, Kent had managed to piece together his memories of the events that had transpired when he read the Chaos Ascension King Legacy Manual.

"So that was what happened, huh?" He took a deep breath, summoned the manual again, and flipped it open only to see an almost empty page.

The only writings available were of some runes that, when he examined them, pointed to a technique linked to cultivating killing intent.

The word he had said that led to him going unconscious was no more, and the other pages were locked, so he had no way of knowing what or whose name it had been in the first place.

"I'd better be careful next time, or I might just die inheriting my own legacy," he sighed and turned to Lady Kenzie.

"Thank you for taking care of me, my dear. You have done an amazing job."

She smiled and nodded. "If you need something else, let me know immediately."

"I sure will."

She vanished back into his soul sea, leaving only Kent and Fiannarel in the room. He stood up from the healing pod and walked into the bathroom. A few minutes later, he came out looking more refreshed.

"You scared me, little brother," Fiannarel said, hugging Kent.

Aside from her, Lady Kenzie, Tower, and Hades, none of his wives knew he had come this close to death. This decision was reached because Tower saw no reason to scare them.

They were having so much fun, so she allowed them to be.

So instead of revealing the truth, she merely told them Kent was tired from training and had decided to sleep for a while. Of course, the ladies knew there was more to it, but since nothing alarming had happened to the tower, they accepted her excuse.

As for Fiannarel, she came to check on Kent every now and then, this time waiting for him to wake up.

"I am fine, big sister. It was just that I tried to bite off more than I could chew." He smiled, and holding Fiannarel's hand, they walked out of the healing chamber and onto the vast world inside the Soul Tower, where cultivating the soul was less stressful.

"Don't scare me like that again, or else I will kill you myself."

Kent laughed and nodded, allowing Fiannarel to rest her head on his shoulder as they stood on a cliff overlooking the vastness below them.

"I have some business on the outside that will take a couple of months, perhaps a year. Once it's handled, we can go look for Mother and the others."

"Really?" Fiannarel asked, turning to look at Kent.

"Yes. I wasn't really up for that family reunion before, but my wives seem to like the idea of meeting my past-life families, so since I want them to be happy, I wouldn't mind exploring the Celestial Realm with you."

"That would be great, little brother. It would be like a field trip... the one we never got to go on back then."

Kent nodded. "Exactly. I can finally make it up to you."

Fiannarel had no reason to say no to that, so she rested her head back on his shoulder and hugged his arm. They stood in that posture for a couple of hours, talking about other things.

Eventually, they were forced to part when Tower arrived with a report.

"Big Brother, Lady Inaya has returned from Amon's Guillotine Cave with the package."

"Tower, her name is Safira... and what do you mean by package?" Kent couldn't hold back his laughter.

Tower, however, smiled and nodded, taking note.

"You know what? You can say whatever you want as long as it makes you happy."

Kent turned to Fiannarel and said, "Big sister, I am leaving now. Don't miss me too much."

"I am coming with you," Fiannarel stated, not attempting to mask her desire.

"This is a private reunion between old acquaintance... so I think you are not welcome."

"Who said I am coming with you to meet the Forsaken Seer? In case you are not aware, your wives are like sisters to me, so I couldn't care less about your business. I am coming with you to meet them."

Kent smirked. "Well, that was before. Now, the Harem Tower is off-limits to you... Isn't that right, Tower?"

"Well, Big Brother, your wives gave me a strict warning never to block Big Sister Fiannarel from coming here, so maybe don't drag me into your siblings' squabbles."

"You..."

The tower was gone before Kent could pull on her tiny elven ear.

Seeing this, Fiannarel laughed.

Kent chuckled. "Better stay away from Selene before she pollutes your mind. I have no plans on spreading your legs."

Fiannarel smirked and whispered into his ear, "That's the thing, little brother. She is my favorite among your wives. And one more thing—we have different parents now, so technically, we are not..."

Kent was gone before she could finish her sentence.

Fiannarel laughed and also vanished from the Soul Temple.

Kent arrived before the Love House, where Safira was still asleep.

He walked in and, seeing the familiar pale-white beauty who had saved him back then and nurtured him back to life, the hatred he felt for most Forsaken beings surprisingly vanished from his heart.

This caused him to halt, his eyelids trembling slightly. He tried to summon that hatred, but for reasons he couldn't explain, he couldn't.

It had completely vanished from his heart, mind and soul.

Instead, watching her sleep with a much thinner body than he remembered, he felt his heart break.

'She might have suffered so much because of me.'

Without even knowing how, tears started falling down his face. Seeing this, Vexthra and Elaine, who were with Safira, teleported away to give him some space.

Kent walked to the bed and sat down. Then, lifting Safira's head, he placed it on his lap and hugged her, his tears falling onto her chest, which was only covered by a thin cloth shielding her nipples.

He had no idea why he was crying.

But amid the tears and embraces, Safira opened her eyes and began to tear up, too.

Seated somewhere far away, Fate smiled, watching the reunion that had been in the works since the dawn of the universe.
