Chapter 1874 True Killing Intent
Chapter 1874 True Killing Intent
BOOM BOOM BOOM
Mjolnir was pushed back, his expression finally cracking. He looked at the thousands of crimson eyes behind Kent, each oozing overwhelming killing intent and sigh.
All he could do was stare dumbfoundedly at Kent.
There was no way someone who hadn't even reached the realm of Godhood could possess that much control over killing intent.
In fact, from what Mjolnir had seen in the last few eras he had wandered the universe, not even Celestials had that much control over their killing intent.
They didn't even have enough kills under their belts to possess that much killing intent.
However, Kent did, and that was just too shocking.
"H-How?" he asked, his voice breaking, perhaps due to the strain on his body.
Kent had only taken six steps, but the pressure in the air was just on another level.
Each step came with so much pressure that Mjolnir, who lacked that much killing intent, struggled to hold his stance.
One funny thing about killing intent, however, is the fact that blocking it is nearly impossible. The only way it can be blocked is for the person being attacked to possess enough killing intent to rival that of the one suppressing them.
Mjolnir was a Primordial-grade weapon with powers so deep that even Kent could not fathom them. However, he lacked the level of killing intent Kent possessed, which, at the moment, left him shaken to the core.
The first step unleashed the killing intent, while the second doubled it. The third tripled it, and it continued from there, with every step raising the terrifying level of killing intent in the air to an all-time high.
Kent smiled and snapped his fingers, causing the killing intent in the air to vanish...
He then turned and looked at Mjolnir, who seemed to have finally found his footing again. "If you wish to know why a mere Demigod such as myself possesses this level of killing intent, then the answer is simple: I inherited it."
Mjolnir furrowed his brow upon hearing his answer. "You inherited it? That doesn't make sense to me. Who inherits killing intent?"
Kent smiled. "Oh, trust me, it is a normal thing if you know what I know. However, while killing intent can be inherited, the quality of it depends on who you are inheriting it from, your soul strength and how much control they had over it when they sealed it away.
In my case, I have 100% control, so everything I showed you now all came from me. In other words, I have inherited the killing intent of my past incarnations."
Mjolnir was still confused, but that was normal considering what Kent was saying simply didn't make sense.
He had lived thirteen lives, and so far, he had recalled nine of them. Each life came with its own unique story, yet they all shared something in common. They were all legendary warriors with millions of kills under their belts.
This means that in all 9 lives, he had accumulated a rather dense killing intent.
At first, he never really had that much control over the killing intent of his past lives. However, that all changed when he read the first page of the Chaos Ascension King Legacy Manual.
He had witnessed how the Chaos Ascension King cultivated his killing intent. But even that didn't do much for his own killing intent.
It was after he had finished reading the book that the main gain came.
The runes left on the page were something linked directly to killing intent. He had learned them all, and the moment he did, he comprehended an aspect of killing intent called True Killing Intent.
This True Killing Intent opened access to his soul, connecting it to all nine lives he had recalled so far. This connection, however, allowed him to harness the killing intent of all those lives.
Of course, there was a limit to how much he could harness. But with how robust his soul was, he was able to channel at least 10% of the killing intent from each of his nine lives.
That, coupled with the fact that he was cultivating Blood, Evil, and Abyssal Qi, made the already terrifying killing intent reach a whole different level of madness.
"Allow me to burst your bubble, Mjolnir," Kent said. Then he proceeded to reveal his identities to Mjolnir, who, after hearing all he had said, could only stare back at Kent in awe.
"As you have heard, I have lived so many lives, with every last one ending with a bang. You knew me as the Nine Underworld Flame Blacksmith.
However, long before that life, I was Lord Genesis. I was also the Primordial Chaos Dragon, and I was even the dreadful bastard widely known as the Ruthless Bandit.
So yes, I may be a Demigod, but I have the killing intent of beings who once ruled the universe and walked with their shoulders held high."
Sigh
Mjolnir took a deep breath and exhaled. "Then answer me, who are you really?"
"I've lived several lives and experienced a variety of things. However, I identify as one person, and that is the Primordial Chaos Dragon. But you can just call me Kent."
Mjolnir nodded, making sense of the kind of person his master was, or had become.
The past him was merely a fragment of a much larger self. Luckily, he had been privileged to have been a part of it. Now, however, he would have the chance to walk the path of ascension with him again.
"So tell me, Mjolnir, do you still want to play hard to get, or are you ready to return to my side, where you belong?"
"Only if you promise to use me only in battles against Celestials and above, or to forge Supreme-grade weapons and above. I am not a simple weapon now, and I would rather rot in Hell than be lowered to the level where I will be used against Gods."
Kent laughed, hearing the concern of his fourth Living Weapon.
Already, he had Gaap, who was one of the most dreadful swords he had ever had in his arsenal. Then there was Ryoa, his evil spear, which he had wielded back in the day as the Ruthless Bandit.
The third was the corrupted spear, which, with Lady Kenzie's help, had been transformed into the Grim Corrupted Dagger, becoming his third Living Weapon.
Now, he had reunited with his fourth Living Weapon...Mjolnir, the Devastating Hell Hammer.
