Chapter 1905 Meiko's Anger (1)
Chapter 1905 Meiko's Anger (1)
It is a good thing Kent left before his wives decided to embark on this mission.
They know his relationship with the Forsaken Race, while a bit better now, thanks to finally learning more about them from Safira, is still bad, as he hates them in general.
They took someone very dear to him, and inasmuch as one would say that while Elina was alive, he didn't tell her how he felt, so her death shouldn't have affected him that much, it did.
And because he wasn't that emotionally intelligent back then, when he tapped into his hatred, it became everything he knew.
That hatred still burns in his soul, and now that he knows just how much he has lost, it would take more than a simple explanation to calm his anger.
His wives knew that much, so they were willing to do something to better sate his anger.
If all goes according to plan, they will soon host a meeting between one of the three Forsaken leaders and Kent.
In some way, it would be one of the most unexpected meetings to ever take place in the universe. The Primordial Chaos Dragon meets the leader of a race he had sworn to annihilate.
If only Kent knew. Soon, he would come to learn about things that threaten this universe, things so devastating that had he not allowed his anger to subside a bit, they would swallow everything and everyone he knew and swore to protect.
Now, however, the ladies had to find Meiko's sister, who had been alive during the Flame Era, and they still knew she was alive. She had made sure she survived and continued to live until she somehow found her way back to her.
Since she had died during the Flame Wars, she didn't know what had happened to her sister. But she knew where she had to go to find out where she could be.
After leaving the tower, almost every last one of the ladies entered Unity's Love Space. While all of them had Primordial Spaces of their own after they awakened their Primordial Spirits, Unity's Love Space came out as the most beautiful and soothing to live in.
They all have powerful Primordial Spaces, but Unity's is the best. And so, since all four dozen of them could not walk through the Celestial Realm like that, the majority of them entered, leaving only Vexthra, Pandora, Unity, Meiko, Ruby, and Dia outside.
Aside from coming to the Celestial Realm to look for Meiko's sister, they also plan to explore and buy some stuff, so they all would eventually come out, but only after Meiko's sister is found.
"I thought you hated your sisters," Ruby asked, just as they arrived in the Supreme Realm and were making their way to a transport array that would take them to the Celestial Realm.
"Oh, I hate them all. They are the worst in the entire universe." Meiko grinned and turned to look at Ruby. "My sister is more like a family sister from my mother's side."
She sighed and revealed more details. "My mother's family were all maids. She was sold to my father's family, and well, thanks to her beauty, that bastard forced himself on her, leading to my birth. On the other side, my mom's younger sister was also sold to another family, and the same thing happened to her.
"However, unlike how my mother managed to buy me some cultivation manuals, which kick-started my cultivation journey, Inkala never had that chance because her mother died giving birth to her.
"I found her later on when I managed to escape the rule of my father's family. I helped her settle down somewhere safe and provided her with cultivation manuals, which, thanks to her superior talent in cultivation, enabled her to rise through the ranks much faster."
A smile formed on her face, which, for someone like Ruby who personally knew Meiko, told her Meiko really liked this sister of hers very much...
"She isn't the violent type like me. She prefers to handle her issues with words, which I found very boring. But as long as it makes her happy, I had no problem with that."
"Sounds like she is a good person," Vexthra said, and Meiko nodded.
"Inkala was the best soul I knew during the Flame Era. If anyone deserved to survive that era, it was her, for she had been through a lot of hardship before I met her."
Pandora, who, over the years staying with Kent's wives, had allowed her to learn more about human emotions, smiled and then she placed her hands on Meiko's shoulder and said, "Don't worry, if she is still alive, we will find her, and you two can have your sisterly reunion."
Meiko nodded.
Sometime later, they entered the transport array, and after a week of teleporting, they arrived in the Celestial Realm, where the energies in the air were much denser and more purified.
Meiko led them all to a planet, which took them another week to reach.
"Knowing Inkala, I had to make sure she was protected in the shadows, so I formed a shadow unit of some of the capable warriors I knew, with their sole purpose being to protect Inkala while I was away. This planet is where their headquarters are located."
After three days of travel, they arrived in a remote part of the planet where Meiko said they would find this assassin's hideout.
However, when they arrived, instead of an assassin's building, it was an inn, and the remoteness of the place had now become more urban than most busy cities.
"What is this?" Meiko asked, her brow furrowed.
"Relax, Meiko. We don't know what has happened, so let's first gather intel," Dia said. She could sense anger blooming in Meiko's heart, so she warned her.
Luckily, Meiko calmed down and nodded.
"First, let's figure out when this inn appeared here and why the remote location has now turned into a busy location." Vexthra proposed, and since none objected, they made their way toward the inn.
A few minutes later, they entered and booked a table. While they could easily obtain the information they needed by using underhanded means, this was the Celestial Realm, where danger lurked at every corner.
Pandora may be a powerhouse, but she is a Primordial, meaning she can use her power only when a Primordial attacks them.
So they had to take things slowly and carefully.
