Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1908 And Angry Ruby Is a Dangerous Ruby

Chapter 1908 And Angry Ruby Is a Dangerous Ruby

"That is Young Master Justin. He is known for—"

Before the owner of the inn could finish what he was saying, Ruby turned into blood mist and vanished from the basement.

"Oh, this is bad," Dia said quickly, making her way up the stairs. The rest of her sisters followed, knowing that what was about to happen, if not prevented, would cause blood to flow.

On the outside, a young man with beautiful brown hair stood in front of a carriage, with over ten guards, each a Celestial, guarding him.

He held a smug expression on his face, which showed the kind of person he was and why his death would make so many people very happy.

Many wish him death, but luckily for him, over the years, he had never met someone motivated enough to wipe the smug look off his face.

Safe to say, he had finally met one.

Ruby appeared in the air, 200 meters from him, and at once, the smile on his face vanished. But only for a moment, since the instant he saw Vexthra and the rest of her sisters outside, he smiled again.

"Oh, they didn't lie to me. There are indeed fairies here." He stepped off the carriage and bowed. "Hello there. My name is Justin, heir of the Brown Star Merchant Family. If you don't mind, I would like to take you ladies out and spend on you."

His smile, coupled with the fact that he had already started licking his lips, disgusted even Vexthra, who, most of the time, was the last to get angry.

However, since today they were already at their breaking point, she frowned and was about to warn the guy when Ruby moved, and before they could stop her, the young man lost his head.

"There, better now. At least you can try your luck in the underworld."

She threw the head into the carriage and glared at the ten Celestials. "Don't, if you don't want to die a senseless death."

They hesitated for a moment, and then they charged at her, knowing that if they didn't kill her, they would have to answer to their master, and that would surely lead to a more painful death.

Ruby sighed. "How unfortunate."

The next second, Ruby turned into blood mist, and before the ten Celestials could even make heads or tails of where she had gone, they started losing their heads.

The people inside the inn who saw this gasped, some even falling on their butts, clearly in shock at how Celestials were dying like bugs. It didn't make sense to them, considering that, in their eyes, Celestials were the peak of existence, and so they couldn't die.

In the end, however, after only a few seconds had passed, all ten Celestials were dead, and their bodies were reduced to a small pool of blood.

"Just who is this lady, and how can she kill Young Master Justin and his guards that fast and without a care in the world?"

"How should I know? All I know is, I wasn't part of the people who went to report to Lord Justin."

"Same here. At least she wouldn't come after me for that."

"That is a relief then."

The people who witnessed this chilling massacre were now scared of Ruby, whom they were meeting for the first time, but would soon hear more chilling things about.

"This could have been avoided. However, Ruby isn't in the right mindset right now," Vexthra sighed.

Zaila shook her head and said, "That is to be expected. She and Meiko are some kind of rivals, but deep within, we both know they are best friends. Seeing her friend like that clearly touched her more deeply than one might think.

It is even admirable how she was able to hold herself back from going berserk, considering what Meiko told us about her."

"An Angry Ruby is a Dangerous Ruby," Dia said. "Looks like Meiko didn't lie when she said those words."

"I guess so. But we have to leave now. Finding Inkala is of the highest priority right now."

Zaila turned and looked at the inn owner. "Thank you for everything, mister. And sorry for the mess."

"Don't worry about it," the man said, not even scared that an heir of a very powerful family had been killed in front of his establishment. This behaviour told Zaila and her sisters that perhaps this man wasn't simple at all.

There was more to him than he appeared to be. But since he hadn't given them a reason to doubt him, they said nothing, and soon, they were gone.

They would have to meet up with Crimson Dagger, whom Kent had already briefed on why they were coming, and so he had started gathering everything they had on the Grim Arcane Legends.

While the Midnight Shadows would not be taking the lead on this, considering the ladies had already made up their minds to handle everything, Kent wanted his men to be on standby.

He trusted his wives, but if these Grim Arcane Legends turned out to be as dreadful as they sounded, then he couldn't let even a single one of them escape.

They all had to die, and that could be done by his Midnight Shadows.

They were masters of infiltration and assassination, so they would prove very valuable, and since Vexthra was the one leading this campaign, he knew the Grim Arcane Legends were in for a rude awakening.

Zaila was also intelligent, but when it came to strategic thinking, she still paled in comparison to Vexthra, who had plans for every other plan.

Luckily for them, Planet Bankari wasn't that far from where they were.

It took just five days to get there, and another day to reach the city where they would meet Crimson Dagger.

After a few hours of navigating the busy streets, Vexthra, Dia, Eliza and Zaila entered a restaurant. They had sent Ruby away since she wasn't mentally in a state to handle minor talks.

She had to cool down inside the tower.

In the meantime, they summoned Eliza, the Blood Harvester, to stand in as their guard while they met with Crimson Dagger and figured out their next plan.
