Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 865: The Slaughter King

Chapter 865: The Slaughter King

"Hahahahaha... Finally, after waiting for so long, you have arrived."

Kent felt a chill run down his back when he heard the laughter. Instinctively, he took a few steps back, but it was futile, for he was standing in a pool of blood with nothing but blood spreading far and wide.

"Who is there?" Kent asked, looking around, his instinct screaming at him to run. However, all he could see was a sea of blood.

There was nowhere to run, and he knew that.

So he was left with one desperate option if it came down to it — to face whatever had pulled him into this godforsaken realm. Kent was ready to battle, and so he prepared himself.

However, when the void cracked red and a large, razor-sharp claw emerged from it, dripping with blood, all hope, no matter how much he felt it, was lost.

The presence that appeared was one he would never have had a counter for. Just gazing at the claw was shattering his mind and pressing down on his soul.

He was outmatched, outclassed, and out of his league, and that realization was all Kent knew to understand that he was in real danger now.

However, he didn’t turn away from the claw.

His gaze was locked on it, and the more he looked, the paler he turned.

A normal person would have looked away, but Kent continued to stare, and for a while, his body started shaking as he broke into a profuse sweat.

His body was screaming at him to look away, but his will as a chaos dragon said otherwise.

"Hahaha... Not bad. Not bad at all. Despite being a mere ant standing before me, you didn’t lose your will to look away but actually kept staring at me. That shows true strength worthy of the last True Primordial."

The claw transformed, and a figure emerged from it, locking gazes with Kent. Kent took a few steps back, but he kept staring.

He was clad in a tattered red cloak, and on his forehead were two long, twisted, red horns. His eyes were red, and his body was covered in golden-red scales that a weapon couldn’t easily penetrate.

"Welcome to my domain, Chaos Dragon," the man said, moving closer. When he was close enough to Kent, two red chairs made from bones appeared.

"Sit."

Kent obeyed and sat down, not taking his eyes off the man.

"You can call me Bhaal’Khar, the Slaughter King." He smiled, but Kent didn’t look amused. If anything, he wanted to tell the man never to smile at anyone ever again.

The smile is evil, and anyone who sees that will break down, their souls extinguished.

"This is the part where you tell me your name," Bhaal said, and Kent felt his body shudder.

"I am Kent, but I guess you already know that. So why am I here?"

Bhaal smirked. "Very simple, actually. You are here to inherit my legacy."

"No, thank you." The feeling he was getting wasn’t one he wanted to experience again, or at least not for a while.

"You don’t have a choice here, Kent. You are the primordial Chaos Dragon, the True Primordial. Without my legacy, you will be stuck at the Core Formation stage forever."

Kent’s eyes widened.

His mind quickly went back to a few weeks ago when he finally reached level 8. Back then, upon reaching the 8th level, he felt like something was missing. Of course, the Tower told him nothing was missing, but Kent could feel it.

This made him start to wonder if he needed a stronger energy source before he could reach the 9th level and form his core.

In the end, he chose to deal with that after he came out of seclusion. Unfortunately, he was pulled into an urgent quest, which left him now on the run against time but also against dangerous opponents.

So, hearing something related to his worry now confirmed, he just couldn’t keep calm.

"What do you mean I will get stuck at the Core Formation stage if I don’t inherit your legacy?" Kent asked, looking more involved in the situation.

In a way, the fear he felt toward Bhaal’Khar was washed away, now replaced with genuine worry.

"Hahahaha... Look at your worried face. Aren’t you the Primordial Chaos Dragon? Why worry over something this small?" Bhaal laughed, making Kent clench his fist.

’This bastard... I would love to punch his face,’ Kent thought inwardly, but it was already too late for him to pull back his thoughts.

He had already been in similar situations and knew whatever he thought would be known by the owner of that realm, so naturally, Bhaal heard his thoughts, causing him to laugh amusedly.

"Looks like you have bigger dreams, Kent. But I guess, as the Primordial Chaos Dragon, you do qualify to punch me in the face.

However, you are just too weak even to pinch me, even if I allowed you to hit my mortal body." Bhaal paused and laughed for five good minutes before returning to the issue at hand.

"I know you are already aware of the True Primordials. I can sense Heliux’s aura on you, meaning you have already come into contact with something that belongs to that Flame Bastard, just like how you have come into contact with two things that belonged to me."

Kent squinted his eyes. "The Claw Art and the Primal Body Tempering Art."

"Bingo," Bhaal said with a cheerful laugh. "You have once used that Tempering Art, but we both know that was in another life, and I wasn’t the one who gave it to you.

But now you have my permission to obtain it. However, the main reason you are here today is because of the Primal Core Formation Diagram.

I have waited for a very long time to hand it to you, and now, after your rebirth, you have reached all the acceptable qualifications to use it."

"And what requirements are those?" Kent asked.

"The 13 Lives and 13 Deaths kind. In short, you can just call it the 13 Rebirths."

Kent swallowed, never expecting there to be something like that hidden within his existence. But he had no reason to argue since he had already seen what Chaos could do after obtaining the Primal Body Tempering Art.

He could only listen to what Bhaal had to say and, if possible, gain a good understanding before making any decisions.

"What is this Primal Core Formation Diagram?"

"Very simple. It is one of the six things you need to be able to transcend beyond the limits of this universe one day. Don’t ask me what is beyond this universe because I don’t know.

However, know that the six True Primordials lived so that the one True Primordial could be born. We did our part, and now we can only give you what is rightfully yours.

On my part, I was meant to pass the Primal Core Formation Diagram, a technique you need to be able to form your core.

You are a beast, Kent, an apex predator, so forming your core like a normal mundane is a waste of your potential.

Of course, there are many methods out there, but the Primal Core Formation Diagram is the best of them all because it is a Primordial Grade technique, and now you will need it if you want to rule this universe one day.

So tell me, Kent, are you ready to inherit the legacy of the Slaughter King and become the King of all Beasts in the wild?"
