Chapter 907: The Apocalypse (11)

Chapter 907: The Apocalypse (11)

"Mountain Breaking Punch"

Kaizo landed hard, his fist crackling with golden lightning as he punched out, striking the chest of a Spirit Lord. The Spirit Emperor was sent flying several meters away.

However, Kaizo wasn’t done. He moved, and before the Spirit Emperor could land on the ground, his fist connected with his back, breaking his spine.

A painful cry came from the Spirit Emperor, who couldn’t bear that the battle had not even truly begun, yet he was already overpowered by a mere core formation stage brute.

But his nightmare didn’t end there.

Just as his body was about to touch the ground, a faint shadow portal appeared, and the Spirit Emperor fell in, only to reappear with a dagger just an inch away from his forehead.

Vari drove her dagger through the Spirit Emperor’s forehead.

His vision turned dark, and then he fell to the ground. Not far from her, Irina also beheaded another Spirit Emperor and was off to the next.

One might wonder just how Core Formation experts were killing Spirit Lords. Naturally, none of this should have been possible. There was no way a small world like Sonox should have this many terrifying warriors.

However, Alina was on the battlefield, and while she could write a restriction to limit the cultivation base of the forsaken warriors to the Core Formation stage, that was just too darn time-consuming and too powerful to maintain.

So she was able to write one that gave her side an upper hand when it came to pinpointing the weak points of the enemies.

The formation she had opened and was pouring all her energy into was doing three things. The first was the speed boost.

Every last warrior on her side had three times their speed, which was enough to match the speed of the enemy, especially the assassins and archers on the battlefield, who were known for their swiftness.

The second, of course, was quick teleportation. It was what was draining the most energy. However, it was set up in such a way that if a teammate was severely injured, they would be teleported outside of the battlefield.

It was absolute, but effective.

It was also draining her.

However, the last effect was the Weak Point Identifier. It was, in a way, like Kent’s Soul Map, but much weaker, yet still effective.

It was pointing out the weak points of the enemy, allowing her teammates to deal the most lethal blows.

Veydris popped out of the void and stabbed his sword through the shoulder of a Spirit Emperor before slipping back into the void.

"Poison Explosion!"

Princess Lovina activated a poison skill, and from the wound left by Veydris, along with others left by her teammates, green lotuses started growing.

All those with cuts on them were immediately brought to a halt. However, none managed to figure out what was happening before powerful explosions started sounding across the battlefield.

Some lost their arms, lower halves of their bodies, limbs, and much more. Many also died, but Princess Lovina alone wasn’t enough to commit mass slaughter, so Elaine chose to become death instead of life.

She floated in the air, and behind her, a large tree housing thousands of thin leaves appeared, exuding a powerful death qi.

She pointed forward and mouthed the skill name, "Leaves of Death."

The tree shook violently, then, like bees, the leaves came off their branches and surged forward, cutting through the Spirit Emperor like swords.

Of course, the leaves alone weren’t enough to kill them. However, Elaine, too, wasn’t going for the kill immediately. Her plan had something to do with the many graves inside her Life and Death space.

Until then, she was simply doing her part to handle as many Spirit Emperors as she could.

Soon, the Spirit Emperors started getting mixed with Spirit King experts and Spirit Ascension forsaken warriors.

However, while that wasn’t exactly a good thing, the moment they appeared, Kaizo called out to Sylara, who was still on the outside, transforming the blood.

A few seconds later, she appeared in the distance, overlooking the battlefield.

Unity flew toward her. "How much longer until you are done?"

Sylara examined her body for a few seconds before answering, "Twenty more minutes. I have already formed the seal and am now fusing it with my soul."

"Better hurry, because we are outnumbered and overpowered here. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to handle them. The least we can do is hold them back if some of us go all out."

"I will do my best."

Unity nodded and flew away, raining down arrows on the Forsaken warriors.

Kaizo and Uncle Drake were at the front of the battlefield, clashing with many Spirit Lords. Naturally, Kaizo was using 5% of his bloodline, and so was Uncle Drake, so while they weren’t killing like their teammates, all the Peak Spirit Emperors were on them.

Kaizo was surrounded by five Peak Spirit Emperors, and so was Uncle Drake, but despite being overpowered, they kept getting back up. Since the enemy wasn’t about to ignore them and focus on the others, they weren’t having it easy at all.

The Seven Sea Kings held back Uncle Drake because he fought them at 10% of his power. Anything higher, and he would have killed thousands, which would have included his own teammates.

However, things were different now.

The battlefield was open on all sides, and Uncle Drake could see only Forsaken warriors. This made him start to fight more destructively, like a dragon should.

The enemy knew the damage he could cause, so they were going all out to stop him.

"How much higher can you go, Uncle Drake?" Kaizo asked, taking a sword swing with his hand, which was coated in a red metallic gauntlet.

"I can go as high as fifteen, but that will drain me rapidly. However, just five is already good enough to hold these idiots back."

Kaizo laughed, landing a kick in a Forsaken warrior’s gut. "I know, right? They are much weaker than I expected."

"Very weak. If I were to go up to seven, I am confident I can crush one’s head like a tomato."

"Why don’t you do it, Uncle Drake?"

"Are you sure?"

"I am. I want to see a head pop."

"Very well."

Uncle Drake rose into the air, causing the Forsaken warriors to sense something was amiss, so they flew toward him, aiming to stop the annoying dragon at all costs.

"Idiots," Kaizo muttered coldly. Then the heavens churned, and the clouds turned red and black. From the clouds, a large black dragon moved, sending down a powerful pressure.

"Yi Lai, now."

The moment Kaizo spoke, Kent’s Dragon Necromancer appeared with her sword raised.

"Forbidden Art," she spoke in a sinister tone, causing the clouds to churn and thunder to rumble across the sky.

The Peak Spirit Emperors who chased after Uncle Drake turned and looked at Yi Lai, sensing something very bad was about to happen.

"It is rude to turn your back on your enemy." Uncle Drake, now in his human form, appeared behind one of the Spirit Emperors and grabbed his head, sinking his claws through his forehead and around his skull.

’Pop!’

With a pop, the Spirit Lord’s head was crushed like a tomato.

At the same time, Yi Lai was also ready...

"First Form: Domain Sealing Strike."

"Nooooo..."
