Primordial Villain with a Slave Harem

Chapter 1297 Black Fang's Stats

Chapter 1297  Black Fang's Stats

[Name: Black Fang]

[Race: Human]

[Level: 74]

[Stats]

[Health: 1610]

[Mana: 920]

[Vitality: 161]

[Strength: 185]

[Agility: 228]

[Magic: 92]

A total of 666 points.

This stood in contrast to Quinlan's own stats, which went as such at level 46;

[Health Points: 3056] [Mana Points: 3713] [Vitality: 204] [Strength: 145] [Agility: 153] [Magic: 248] A total of 750 points.

But, well, there was a problem. Those were Black Fang's stats before her Legendary-tier class's Attribute bonuses were added into the equation, compared against Quinlan's once all his bonuses were added already.

The Venomborne Terror had three bonuses, namely, +25% Health

+25% Vitality

+25% Strength

And +50% Agility, as opposed to Quinlan's Primordial Villain bonuses, which went as such:

+50% Health

+50% Mana

+25% Vitality

+25% Strength

+25% Agility

+25% Magic.

With Black Fang's bonuses added together, she stood at:

[Vitality: 201.25]

[Strength: 231.25]

[Agility: 342.0]

[Magic: 92.0]

But as the systemic interface did not display decimals for clarity's sake, despite them being very real and always considered in calculations, her final status window was as such:

[Health: 2512]

[Mana: 920]

[Vitality: 201]

[Strength: 231]

[Agility: 342]

[Magic: 92]

A total of 866 Attribute Points, not counting Health and Mana. Those two categories were stats one could not invest directly into; they were the results of multiplying Magic and Vitality by 10, respectively, unless one had boosts to those as well, such as Black Fang's 25% to Health. Then they would be Health = Vitality*10*1.25.

866 Attrbite Points, 116 more than Quinlan's.

This was a great build, Quinlan thought. She focused on raw physical stats mostly, bolstered by her bonuses. It showed in her battles as well; she was a speedy menace to even keep an eye on, let alone face. And she also had enough Mana to cast her spells, though she could not at all be as trigger happy with those as Quinlan or Morgana could.

But one had to remember that Black Fang was the holder of a Legendary class; most people, even those at level 74, held only Epic-tier ones, Morgana included. Quinlan was pretty confident that the king himself also had a Legendary-tier class, and whatever was going on with Kaede likely made her on their level stat-wise as well, but aside from them, he didn't know for sure who else could be considered to be a holder of such a class. Legendary-tier was a truly rare class, and stat bonus-wise, it likely meant a bump in one stat when compared to the Epic-tier classes.

It was thus more accurate to assume that Quinlan was close to matching most level 74 people's status totals, though his were distributed across all attributes, making him the perfect jack of all trades.

However, there was a trade-off to pay as well, evidenced by his match against Morgana. He was already much higher than her in all stats but Mana and Magic, but as Morgana was a glass canon who put nearly her all into Magic, she was likely in the 400s, letting her dominate Quinlan in a pure magical matchup.

Since that battle, Quinlan had already invested in Magic, bringing the gap closer yet again.

With each level, one gained an attribute point in each stat category, and 5 to spend freely however they wished. Then, in his case, those would be bolstered by another 25% no matter where he invested them.

Thus, if his calculations were right, he should be able to face basically anyone as equals or near equals stat-wise as soon as he came back from the Primordial Trials.

As a side note, it was important to note that most classes, especially on this level, had some self-buffing capabilities that could increase one's stats. Black Fang's did as well, and so did Quinlan's Harbinger of Aeons class, letting him switch between Elemental Stances.

But these details didn't change the fact that he was close. Tantalizingly close.

The fire in his chest burned hotter than it ever had.

Quinlan and Co. reached the end of the mansion hallway and pushed the doors open.

Morning air swept across the steps outside. His allies were gathered across the courtyard, weapons checked, gear arranged, spirits sharp. Black Fang stood among them with her disciples lined behind her like rows of blades.

The moment Quinlan stepped outside, her gaze slid toward him in the form of a slow, drawn-out side-eye glare.

Flat. Poisonous. Absolutely unamused.

He didn't even need to have mind-reading abilities to know exactly what she was thinking.

He'd sent his daughter to harass her for hours on end, right after she helped him with the assault on the nobles that lasted long into the night.

It was not exactly the most gentlemanly of gestures, especially coming from the man who was supposedly courting her right this very moment.

After all, their bet was that in one year's time, he'd make her fall for him, and as a result, he'd stop her aging by doing the same as he was doing with his girls in the bedroom. If he failed, then he'd have to give her access to the [Blessed Seed] in a way he would absolutely detest.

That was their deal, agreed upon in the steam of the sauna.

As for her current annoyance…

Quinlan gave Black Fang a playful wink.

Yes, he was courting the woman. But he was not Generic Simp #9999 for this tatted baddie; he had his own style, which he would not abandon just so he could be a traditional knight in shining armor.

Black Fang would fall for the real him, not an act he put on. Doing otherwise would defeat the whole purpose.

Seeing his playful wink, her eyelid twitched. Barely, but it twitched. The rest of her face remained a stone mask, her expression as deadpan as ever. She turned away in the most assassin-like attempt at "I will remember this" he had ever seen.

'How utterly adorable,' he thought.

His footsteps carried him down the stairs, toward the waiting group. The duchy's lockdown remained vivid in his head.

Alexios had sealed Greenvale tight in a cage of royal steel.

Defensive wards, trained guards, and instant responses through Kaede's portals.

A strike force ready to drop on his head the moment he touched a single noble estate.

Quinlan exhaled.

The old fox really committed.

But then another thought slid in.

Greenvale is but one duchy.

He lifted his gaze toward the distant treeline, toward the roads that stretched far beyond these borders.

Alexios locked down Greenvale spectacularly.

But what about the rest of the kingdom?

He wasn't bound to this duchy.

Not in the slightest.
