Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 888: Determination

Chapter 888: Determination

“Let’s go right away,” Rael said. But right as he was about to step through the portal, Gaia grabbed him by the collar and lifted him up.

Not to mention, she pointed him in the direction of none other than Reyna, as if reminding him of something.

“Oh… Right. Reyna, do you want to come with us?”

She stared back at him and raised a brow. “Sorry? No. I might be bored, but I do have a race I want to try returning to. Vampires might not have been the most popular or happy species in the past, but I am curious how much they evolved. I’ll be sure to pay you a visit one day, though.”

Nyx tapped his shoulder.

“Looks like you got rejected. Looks like your harem might not reach double digits after all.”

Rael raised a brow and turned to her. “Do you consider yourself in my harem?”

“Shouldn’t I?” Nyx hummed. “You’re not planning to court me? Or are all those stares and occasional lewd thoughts you have about me just some things you can’t control? I’m sorry I’m beautiful, I suppose.”

Rael rolled his eyes at her comment and didn’t elaborate. He wasn’t sure what he was going to do with her, but he knew for a fact that Gaia was someone he was interested in.

Still, he didn’t dwell too long on the rejection, and instead, Rael just gave them a smile. Especially at Renoir and his wife.

“I hope you two visit sometime as well.”

Renoir scoffed. “Well, we’ll probably be too busy making a family. But I’ll keep that in mind if I ever feel like stopping by. As for you, with so many wives, you should at least have ten children each, if not a little more.”

Rael sighed. “I’ll see what I can do.”

Nyx immediately bonked him over the head, and without letting him embarrass the women further, she tossed him straight through the portal. After saying their goodbyes, they also entered through the portal, and it immediately closed behind them.

Finally, Rael just floated there, not saying anything as he observed the world he himself had personally upgraded to the extremes. The giant city here in particular… Rael saw millions of people floating around the streets. Some were driving in cars, while others were actively streaming and recording.

Rael saw elves doing their recordings, some dwarves, and even goblins. There was no concept of giving a shit about appearances here, and from the looks of things… Rael’s constructs had actually managed to succeed in spreading the finalized Sketa Online copy across the universe.

It was perfect, and that probably explained why Rael spotted so many people down on the continent just killing random monsters and doing their quests. It was indistinguishable from the semi-dead world that Rael had seen before, as now, there were billions of people there to inhabit it.

Heh…

He was actually getting quite emotional.

But then again, Rael knew it wasn’t completely over. Not until a certain someone was dead.

He turned toward Zafira, Lilith, and Nyx, then said:

“Could you guys go down and check some stuff out? There’s something Gaia and I need to do.”

“I doubt you’ll have sex, so are you two going to kill Lucien?” Nyx asked.

Rael gave her a thumbs up. “Yep. We got it all under control, so go ahead and check out the stands or some shit. Oh, also, I want you to very carefully see what the fuck Uriel’s been up to. Send me a message immediately if he got that Solenne bitch pregnant.”

She let out a chuckle and saluted. “Yes, captain.”

With that, she dashed over to the world. Only Zafira and Lilith were left. They were staring at him with slightly concerned looks, and Rael decided to simply reassure them.

“I’ll be back before dinner, and I won’t even need to buy us a big ass hot tub, since we got one at home. I’ll be ready, so you two get sorted out as well and catch up with whomever you want… I swear I’ll be back after I finish this.”

Zafira’s cheeks flushed, while Lilith simply chuckled. She found it far more amusing than Zafira, simply because she had a much lewder personality. Despite that, Lilith took the initiative to approach him and kiss him on the lips.

He was momentarily startled, but before he could react, she was already gone. Zafira still stood there, pouting as she eventually pointed her finger at him.

“Handle everything you need, and today… W-We’ll be trying for…”

“Trying for?”

Her cheeks flushed even more, and without elaborating further, she vanished as well. Rael just floated there, utterly confused. That was until Gaia coughed and said:

“By the context, I assume she meant trying for a kid.”

“A kid…? Like our very own kid?”

Gaia raised a brow. “You do know where babies come from, right?”

Rael’s brows twitched. “Yes, jeez… I just wasn’t expecting it. Shit… Am I even ready to be a father? Look at Uriel. He’s spent more time with Solenne than he has with me.”

Gaia just patted his shoulder with a pitiful look. “It happens to some unfortunate souls. Now as for us… We must depart now. We’ll likely be back by nightfall, but until then, please put all your focus into helping me.”

Rael nodded and focused up. “How do I help you?”

She paused for a moment, then said:

“I already have Lucien, so all I need now is a way to locate his actual body. If we can kill the form he had taken inside the tower, and the form he has out here, we can finish him off once and for all.”

Rael stared at her. “Are you sure it’s going to be that easy?”

Gaia smiled. “Sometimes, not everything is as difficult as one might expect. He might be a very powerful being, but in contrast, you’re a being who is even more powerful. Not to mention, you have Lucien in the palm of your hand…”

“So yes… Lucien will be dying very, very soon.”
