Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 934: A Ship!

Chapter 934: A Ship!

The four of them went inside, and for some reason, neither Lilith nor Zafira bothered to get out of their bathrobes. In fact, they seemed way too comfortable to do so.

And now that they were all outside, the first thing Rael did was reach his hand out in front and then grasp the air. In the next instant, a ship appeared out of nowhere, then landed on the ground below. It thundered the blue star, but it didn’t manage to shatter the floor.

When Rael finally took a step back, he nodded in appreciation, realizing that he really did pick the right ship. It was roughly the size of eight boats, and it had three stories. It had a few flaps too, as well as a barrier that solely blocked out water and space residue, allowing for the ship to become a submarine or a space vessel.

Though there were obviously some quirks too. For one, the front was slightly damaged, and there were a couple of holes in the sides of the ship. It was obvious that this ship was probably stolen directly from a battlefront, or even from an impound… if pirates had impounds.

No matter what the case was, Rael turned to Melina and saw her smiling. She was expecting something much worse, but deep down, she was glad that Rael didn’t give her an absolute shit of a boat.

After all, she really did want to go out into space right away and start exploring. Spending time repairing and doing absolutely nothing for the first couple of weeks would’ve been torture, and she wasn’t much into torture of that kind.

Alas, she went ahead and approached Rael, her head held high as she said:

“How much?”

“Want a discount?” Rael offered out of kindness.

Yet she shook her head, determined to pay it off right away. After all, she might be a pirate, but she was a rich pirate. Traveling the seas of the Depths for so long had garnered her quite the wealth.

And yet…

“Hmm… Let’s see then. I spent 1,500,000 Premium Coins on it, so that should be… 1,500,000,000,000,000 Trell. Pay that up and we’re squared, Melina.”

The moment he uttered the final number, which just so happened to be 1.5 quadrillion Trell, Melina froze. She was rich, that much was certain… But that rich?

After so many years and so many countries conquered, her wealth had reached roughly 2.4 quadrillion Trell. Two decades worth of effort, threatened to be gone in an instant?

Ugh…

“How much would it have cost after the discount?” she asked with a faint cracking in her smile.

“I was planning to tick off a few thousand, so I guess 1,499,999,999,000,000 Trell.”

“…”

In all of her years of being a pirate, she had never seen a bigger pirate than Rael. A discount was supposed to be… well, a discount. What kind of discount was this!?

“Is something wrong?” Rael asked, puzzled. “I mean, you can also pay back bit by bit, but I do value loyalty, so I’ll be including a 25% interest per year. That’s fair, right? So long as you can pay it back in a year, you won’t have to spend more than necessary.”

Rael really was the best loan shark known to man. But sadly, she didn’t seem that interested in the loan or his gracious discount. Instead, she narrowed her eyes and decided to just pay up right away.

And of course…

Rael soon got his money.

And as for Melina, she had a boat. Lilith also seemed excited, to the point she could barely even contain herself from jumping onto the ship and starting to steer it into space. But for starters, Rael pointed at her body, signaling for her to put on some clothes.

“Haa? Why would I get dressed? I’ll be swimming, won’t I?” Lilith asked.

Rael rolled his eyes. “No you won’t. You’ll be mostly traveling with the ship and then flying with your mana.”

“That’s right, stop being childish,” Zafira chimed in, earning a frown from Lilith. Regardless of that, Lilith snapped her fingers and immediately changed her clothes. It really was like magic.

But also like magic was her speed in the way she hopped onto the ship and began looking through every nook and cranny of it, fixing anything she could lay her hands on.

As for Melina, she didn’t enter yet. She caressed the ship from the outside, taking in just how good it looked and how well it would serve her in the future. She was honestly immersed, since even in the past, she never had a ship that quite called out to her this way.

But then again, it might just be the price tag of 1.5 quadrillion Trell weighing on her conscience, forcing her to like this ship.

Gulping in annoyance, Melina finally hopped onto the ship and glanced around. There were a few things that were out of order, and the cannons, from the looks of things, were also fake. The wooden frame was also cracked, and to replace it, she would need to spend a lot more money.

But it was fine.

A start like this was good, since even with a broken frame, she could travel for many years. Though for longevity’s sake, she would go and fix her ship up right away. She only needed someone to accompany her and give her the location of a ship merchant and mechanic.

Thankfully, she had Lilith for that.

Anyhow, she exhaled a relieved breath, and then walked to the edge of the ship before finally glancing down at Rael and Zafira.

She didn’t care much about Zafira, but she did wave at Rael, thankful for what he had done.

Rael, on the other hand, just waved back at her as well, not saying a word as he knew the reason why this ship was so cheap compared to the others.

And as it so happens, Lilith just about managed to find it.

“Why the fuck is there a walking skeleton cleaning the bottom?”

Yep.

It was a cursed ship.
