Chapter 1061: Sister-in-Law Is in Trouble
Chapter 1061: Chapter 1061: Sister-in-Law Is in Trouble
Zhao Xiangqian hung up the phone, his heart was in his throat. How could his sister-in-law have been kidnapped?
The crucial point is that Brother Meng is not here!
Zhao Xiangqian stood up, shook his foot, and picked up the phone to call Meng Jin, who was Meng Siyu’s father. The daughter-in-law had been kidnapped, and as the father-in-law, Meng Jin should get involved, shouldn’t he?
If this were Jing City, he would handle it himself, but in Su City, he couldn’t do much.
"Sir, sister-in-law has been kidnapped in Su City."
Zhao Xiangqian quickly explained to Meng Jin. As soon as Meng Jin heard that Tang Yue had been kidnapped, his face turned grim. After hanging up, Meng Jin immediately made a few calls. Meng Siyu was still on a business trip, and contacting him was useless; a distant water couldn’t save a nearby fire.
Tang Yue had been missing for an hour, and Meng Jin was worried that something might happen. He also called Lian He. Lian He had good connections on the Sea City side, sometimes even better than his own resources.
As Tang Yue’s safety was at stake, Meng Jin dared not put all hope in one place. The more people involved, the more strength they could muster.
After hanging up, Zhao Xiangqian rushed to Meng Jin, adamantly requesting to go to Su City for support. No matter what, Tang Yue had disappeared on Zhao Xiangyang’s watch, and as he put it, he was willing to risk his life to rescue his sister-in-law.

"Brother, what’s going on?" Lian Tong had just woken up from a nap and saw Lian He hanging up the phone with a stern face, then began making another call.
Lian He didn’t have time to answer. He made several calls, and Lian Tong learned from the conversations that Tang Yue had been kidnapped.
"They must have a death wish."
Lian Tong completely lost her sleepiness.
She sat aside, hurriedly asking Lian He, "Brother, is Xiao Yue in Su City now? Where did she get kidnapped?"
"In a village in Su City. I’m going there now." Lian He hung up and finally had time to reply to Lian Tong. He said, "Xiaotong, contact Gu Chun and see if there are better connections in Su City. I’m going there, and you hold down the fort at home. Also, don’t let the old man find out about this."
The old man was elderly and doted on Tang Yue the most. If something happened, what would they do?
After giving instructions, Lian He walked out. Lian Tong chased after him, saying, "Brother, I want to go too."
However, Lian Tong’s words faded into the night, and the car Lian He was in had already disappeared.
Lian Tong stomped her foot and called Gu Chun. Initially, she wanted Gu Chun to stay home while she went out to look for people. Yet, Gu Chun gave her no chance, saying, "Tongtong, you stay home and take care of the kids. My brother and I are going to Su City. We’ll make sure to bring Xiao Yue back safe and sound."
Gu Chun also valued this niece very much, realizing that without her, he and Lian Tong wouldn’t have such a happy life.
Lian He, Gu Chun, and Zhao Xiangqian were all racing towards Su City at the fastest speed.
Meng Jin didn’t dare tell Mo Xiaolin about this, afraid it would only add to her worry. Nor did he dare to tell Zhang Hualian, to spare the family from worry. And if the two kids found out their mother was in trouble, they would surely cry.
He hoped Xiao Yue could return safely.
Meng Jin didn’t return home either; he stayed in his office waiting for a call, making excuses about work to Mo Xiaolin’s concerned inquiries.
Su City, Dayu Town, Zhaojia Village.
Wu Xin had been tracking the whole way but still found no trace, returning to the scene of the incident.
"How is it, where’s Sister Xiao Yue?" Zhao Xiangyang asked excitedly, looking behind Wu Xin, but there was nothing there, not even a ghostly shadow to be found.
Zhao Xiangyang’s heart, tensed this whole time, collapsed at this moment. She leaned against the wall and started crying, saying through her sobs, "It’s all my fault; I got Sister Xiao Yue into trouble."
"She will be fine. Where’s the phone?" Wu Xin inquired.
Zhao Xiangyang stood up, sniffling, "I called my brother. The company will definitely send people over."
"Not enough."
Wu Xin shook her head. Her phone had been dropped in water yesterday and had not yet been replaced. With Tang Yue’s phone also gone, it was evident those people had planned this since yesterday.
Wu Xin dared not delve deep into thought. Zhao Xiangyang led Wu Xin to find a phone, hers was out of battery too.
Having informed the company, Wu Xin needed to tell Bai Qing about this matter.
Just as Wu Xin ended the call, the company’s people had already arrived, as well as those from the police station.
Everyone who was there during the day gathered here upon hearing the news.
Wu Xin led them to the last place where Tang Yue was seen.

When Tang Yue, who had been knocked unconscious and taken away, woke up, she was in a dilapidated, dark house, bound all over, even her mouth was gagged. She couldn’t speak, even if she wanted to.
Tang Yue’s dark eyes scanned around, but apart from some faint light seeping in from outside, there was nothing to see. She could vaguely hear the chaotic sounds coming from outside. However, unable to move, she calmed her mind to think: Who went to such great lengths to bring her here?
And how should she escape?
Tang Yue shifted her hands, but they were tied so tightly she couldn’t move. Her feet wouldn’t budge either.
Suddenly, a subtle noise arose.
Tang Yue stopped moving, pretending to still be unconscious.
"Tang Yue?"
A strange yet familiar voice, leaving Tang Yue in disbelief. In the darkness, her dark eyes widened.
"Tang Yue, where are you?"
Wu Xinming said softly, having followed someone all the way here, relying on the familiarity of the place to quietly see Tang Yue being taken here. He snuck in and, using the dim light, saw Tang Yue in the corner and eagerly approached her.
"Tang Yue, I’m here to rescue you," Wu Xinming whispered, reaching out to pull Tang Yue. Yet, despite saying so, Wu Xinming’s expression made Tang Yue realize that even being taken away by him wouldn’t make things any better.
However, Wu Xinming was too excited. Suddenly, he was kicked, causing him to fall forward.
"Ah..."
Wu Xinming screamed. The next moment, the room lit up. A man tied him up and gagged him, disdainfully regarding Wu Xinming, "So you know this woman? Playing hero to save the beauty?"
"Tsk."
The man sneered, kicking Wu Xinming again, "Overestimating yourself."
Tang Yue kept her eyes shut. From the brief exchange, she realized it was indeed Wu Xinming. She didn’t know why he was here, but she contemplated who had captured her.
The male voice was unfamiliar, completely foreign to Tang Yue. She remained with her eyes shut, breathing evenly, as if she was asleep.
"Boss, the area is sealed off. How do we get out?"
