Chapter 832: The Arching of Eyebrows

Chapter 832: Chapter 832: The Arching of Eyebrows

"It’s okay, just make sure not to leak the design drafts." Tang Yue smiled gently as she spoke.

Wu Xin brought over a soft chair from the side, and Tang Yue sat down, feeling much more comfortable. Although she had the exact same face as Lian Qingqing, the gentleness in her eyes made it hard for anyone to dislike her.

"No, my sister won’t reveal the design drafts." Sun Qing immediately assured, patting her chest.

Sun Rou also nodded firmly and said, "Sister is right, I was just bored at home alone, so I wanted to join her."

Tang Yue didn’t dwell on the topic. She directly picked up the design drafts they had recently completed and looked through them one by one.

Because of Tang Yue’s pregnancy, even the sample clothes were hung directly on a rack and rolled in front of her. The brand-new clothes were neatly displayed. Xin Jiaren introduced each piece while Peng Yufei attentively pushed another empty rack. After Xin Jiaren’s introductions, he took the clothes and hung them up.

Sometimes Xin Jiaren’s introduction wasn’t complete, and Peng Yufei would add a comment.

During this time, the two cooperated with incredible harmony. The sample clothes swayed in front of Tang Yue, each with its own character. By modern standards, they might seem a bit rustic, but they matched the taste of this era.

Even in terms of color matching, the three of them had made tremendous progress.

Tang Yue’s gaze shifted back and forth between Xin Jiaren and Peng Yufei, feeling that they had become much more in sync since she last saw them.

Taking the opportunity while they moved the clothes, Tang Yue turned to Sun Qing and asked, "Sun Qing, did something happen that I don’t know about?"

Sun Qing was a bit surprised and said, "You’re really impressive; they just confirmed their relationship."

This happened not long ago and Tang Yue noticed it the first time she was here.

"No wonder," Tang Yue nodded, having sensed the romantic vibes between them before.

"How did you see it?" Sun Qing asked curiously. She was with them every day and only found out after someone else mentioned it. How did Tang Yue figure it out on her first visit?

"Didn’t you notice the pink bubbles of happiness between them?" Tang Yue tilted her head as she spoke, using her hands to gesture a heart shape for emphasis.

After getting pregnant, aside from her growing belly and slightly fuller face, nothing else about Tang Yue had changed.

The pregnancy brought another level of maternal glow to Tang Yue’s already beautiful face, her features becoming even softer. Her hand gestures were both adorable and charming.

"Pink bubbles of happiness?" Sun Qing looked at Tang Yue, puzzled.

Tang Yue laughed and explained, "It’s that kind of romantic feeling flowing between them. Sun Qing, you’re about the same age as Xin Jiaren, aren’t you? What about you, do you like anyone?"

"No," Sun Qing quickly replied, embarrassedly touching her nose. "I haven’t thought about dating yet."

With Sun Rou’s illness and all the debt, she couldn’t just rely on their parents to pay it off.

She was still young and could work for a few more years, so there was no rush.

Tang Yue smiled but said nothing more. Love is unpredictable; maybe Sun Qing would meet the right person and get married soon after.

Tang Yue carefully reviewed the design drafts. Currently, for the design drafts she provided to Mingyue Clothing Factory, there were only ten per season—spring, summer, autumn, winter. Most of the remaining designs were done by Sun Qing and the team, as she focused most of her energy on the Star Bright side.

Even though she made fewer designs for Mingyue, all of Sun Qing’s team’s designs had to pass through Tang Yue’s hands.

In Wangjiang County, Sister Deng was also in the design department making clothes herself. Most styles would send samples for her to review before calling to inform if they could be mass-produced.

Before she knew it, the day at the factory had passed. Tang Mingli was worried that Tang Yue might be tired, so he sent her back early.

Just as she returned to Jianan Prefecture, she saw Jin Yan arrived.

Jin Yan brought a number of clothes as well, all of which were designed by Tang Yue and independently made by Jin Yan.

"Xiao Yan, you’re two days early," Tang Yue praised, having definitely chosen the right assistant in Jin Yan, whose careful and responsible work was matched by her passion for the job. Giving her tasks meant they’d only be done ahead of time, not left unfinished.

"Sister Xiao Yue, I also feel like I’ve improved a lot at making samples lately," Jin Yan sought praise with a proud look, as now she could almost make two sample garments in the time she used to make one. It had all been practice.

At the same time, Jin Yan was very grateful to Tang Yue for giving her this opportunity, even receiving praise from her grandfather for her progress.

"Not bad," Tang Yue praised, looking at the clothes. When she sketched the designs, she had found them attractive, but the finished products were even more vibrant. Among these, three outfits had colors chosen by Jin Yan herself, with different colors resulting in unique visual effects.

"Xiao Jun, just do your best tomorrow, don’t stress, and answer all the questions on the test paper," Tang Yue encouraged Tang Jun over the phone from a thousand miles away.

With the college entrance exams approaching, Tang Yue felt a sense of indescribable emotion, as Xiao Jun now was a completely different person from his past self.

She was genuinely happy for Xiao Jun.

No matter if Xiao Jun got into a Jing City school or not, with his grades, he could also shine in any other university.

"Sis, I’ll be too embarrassed to see you if I mess up."

Tang Jun brimmed with confidence, no longer the clueless little boy he once was. He asked, "Sis, is my nephew behaving well? I’ve already packed up; after the exam, I’m heading to Jing City with Zhang Qiang, Wei Jiajie, and Mo Weidong. The four of us are going."

"Sis, you’ve got to save a room for me," Tang Jun reminded her for the tenth time.

Tang Yue stifled the urge to roll her eyes and said, "Xiao Jun, when you come to Jing City, no way would I let you sleep on the floor, right?"

"Hehe, sis, you’re the best," Tang Jun chuckled.

Tang Yue initially wanted to chat more with Tang Jun, but seeing his good mental state, she felt reassured and reminded him to eat at their restaurant these days, as the staff had been instructed to make meals just for them.

After hanging up, Zhang Hualian couldn’t help but ask, "Xiao Yue, do you think Xiao Jun can get into a Jing City university?"

Zhang Hualian hadn’t been nervous before, but after Wei Jiajia’s visits, she seemed to have caught the nerves too.
