“I didn’t know.” Fang Xinxin shook her head. “But just as Huang Zhishu and Bai Jingrou said, a lot of ‘strange’ things have been happening in the Bai family. I was worried and immediately thought of you first. After all, you’re an elder and it isn’t good for you to suffer any fright. Thus, I decided to let Tong Yu pay attention to your safety at all times.”

“Understood.” Two of the helpers waiting by the side stepped forward to move the body away.
