Rebirth Plan to Save Leader

Chapter 72.3

Chapter 72 Part 3

After they finished talking about the extremely complicated topic, they had already walked to Zhang Man’s community.

“Oh… I thought there was something strange at the end and it turns out I was wrong.”

Zhang Man nodded. She stared blankly at the gate of the community and was still deep in her thoughts.

Zhang Man had slender eyebrows and big eyes, with a delicate small nose, and a pointy face. She was the kind of girl that looked very sweet and smart. Of course, because she didn’t like to smile, the corners of her lips were always down, and the sweetness disappeared.

But when she got serious, it was different.

Whenever she was thinking about a problem, her eyes were pretty lost in thought. She would frown and her fleshy cheeks would puff up. Her rosy lips were also slightly pursed—it made her look much cuter than usual.

The boy’s heart began to itch again, and his Adam’s apple rolled up and down.

His gaze stayed on her lips the entire time. Even under the dim light, her lips were still beautifully red.

The umbrella handle was in the middle, so it was really inconvenient to do some things. He pulled her into the eave downstairs in the community that shielded them from the rain. He closed his umbrella and leaned down to her, holding her face in his hands and was about to kiss her.

However, it failed again.

The girl seemed to have snapped out of it. She looked up at him in surprise, and kissed him on the cheek.

The lips stayed on his face for almost 0.1 second, and then left.

“Boyfriend, I’m going up. I know where I went wrong. I have to write it down immediately, so I don’t forget later. Be careful on the way back, and call me when you get home!”

After she finished speaking, she waved to him excitedly. Then she turned around and went upstairs.

In the darkness, amidst the rainstorm, under the eaves, the youth was still in a leaning position with his head turned. His whole body was as stiff as a plaster statue for someone to paint on.

Physics was truly an extreme third wheel that didn’t know it was embarrassing him…

That Sunday, the school gave the physics class a day off.

On Saturday night, downstairs at Zhang Man’s house, the classmate who finally got a brief but tasteless kiss sighed contently in his heart.

His requirements were getting lower and lower.

“Man Man, what are your plans for tomorrow?”

Zhang Man gave him a strange look. “Self study of course. Why would I go out to play?”

“…”

Okay, let’s pretend he never asked.

The youth’s expression dimmed, and then lit up again in the next second. “Instead of going to school, why don’t you go to my house for self study?”

To his house?

Zhang Man leaned over and hugged him as she thought about it.

Going to his house might be good. The room was spacious and the lights were bright. She heard from Qi Lele that the school might have a power outage tomorrow, and they might not be able to study if they came.

After some consideration, Zhang Man nodded. She leaned on the boy’s chest, and said something.

It just so happened that there was a sudden thunder that overwhelmed her voice. The youth didn’t hear it at all, he only knew that she nodded. He hugged her tightly and kissed her again.

The youth almost immediately thought of the long and deep kiss they had.

He suddenly felt happy.

—Tomorrow, they will have plenty of time together.

Early the next morning, the boy got up early and quickly took a cold shower.

The cold water in the shower flowed down the black hair to his strong shoulders and neck. The youth raised his head slightly, panting for a moment.

Under the stimulation of the cold water, the beating heart, the chaotic brain, and some shameful and strange feelings finally returned to calmness.

During this period of time, he had been suppressing himself for so long that yesterday he actually… had an absurd dream.

It was so ridiculous that even he couldn’t control his burning face when he woke up.

In the dream, she was delicate and soft. Her eyes and voice were not quite the same as it usually was.

The boy closed his eyes. He turned off the water, grabbed a towel to dry his body, and put on the bathrobe loosely.

The moment he put it on, he suddenly stopped.

… Damn it. He took the wrong one during his confusion. He was now wearing the same bathrobe that she wore when she occasionally came to stay with him.

He obviously washed it afterwards, but at this moment, his nose seemed to be able to smell the faint milky and sweet smell of her body.

After half a minute, the youth put his hand to his forehead restlessly. He reluctantly untied the bathrobe, turned on the shower again, and stood under the cold shower.

After taking a shower, the boy walked back to his room. He opened the closet, and out of habit he wanted to take the black short-sleeve from the left, but stopped when he caught sight of the row of colorful clothes on the right.

These clothes were all chosen by her.

Yellow, blue, orange, red, and even his most hated color… pink.

These colors, like her, broke into his monotonous world.

The boy looked at the brand new pink T-shirt with a big Mickey Mouse head on it. This bright and cute cartoon style really didn’t suit him.

It suited her though.

He lightly rubbed the shirt with his index finger. Mickey Mouse’s cute belly puffed out, he imagined how she would look if he wore this and his eyes were smiling.

—Pink doesn’t seem to be that annoying.

So the boy took out the shirt and put it on.

Man Man made arrangements with him at nine o’clock, and there was an hour left.

He was extra cautious during that time alone.

The youth shaved his facial hair carefully and ran his hands through his hair.

He first diligently threw the clothes scattered on the sofa into the washing machine, then went downstairs to buy some groceries. He also bought a bouquet of flowers she liked, and put them in the vase on the dining table. This thin vase was also something she had bought.

It was still not enough though.

The youth dug out the candle she had bought before from the cabinet. He remembered that she said it was a scented candle, and it was a scent she liked a lot.

He placed some candles on the table, and struck a match to light them.

The fragrance was overflowing.

When everything was ready, the doorbell rang.

The boy smiled happily and walked over to open the door.

—“Man Man, you’re here…”

In the next second, a warmth was completely bursting on his face.

At the door, in addition to his Man Man, a large group of people were standing there. It made the narrow stairway very crowded.

The group of people at the door were even more shocked when the door opened.

—Tsk tsk tsk, you can’t judge people by the cover. I didn’t expect the boss to be like this in private when he is so cold at school.

They gawked at the pink short sleeve shirt, the huge, grinning Mickey Mouse printed on it, the big bunch of flowers on the dining table and the flirty candles.

The three fools touched their chins at the same time.

They didn’t catch the goddess, and it must be because they weren’t flamboyant enough.
