Chapter 927 - 928: We Have Plenty of Time Ahead

Huo Jingrui didn’t give his sister a chance to cling to his wife: "It’s late, we’ve been tired all day, let’s rest early."

Jiang Jingya looked at her son and laughed in agreement: "Yes, yes, we still have to go to work tomorrow."

Saying this, she didn’t give Huo Shanhe a chance to speak and directly dragged him away.

Huo Jingrui also led Yunyi upstairs, not forgetting to instruct Huo Jiayuan behind them: "Turn off the lights downstairs before coming up."

Huo Jiayuan pouted, raised her fist and made faces behind them, muttering quietly: "Hmph, forgetting his sister when he has a wife, stinky Fourth Brother."

Huo Jingrui and Yunyi exchanged a glance and then laughed their way upstairs.

As soon as they entered the room, they locked the door and grabbed clean clothes to enter the space, having been busy all day and visiting the hospital, they just wanted a nice soak in the bath.

Though there was a bathroom in their room, it was nowhere near as comfortable as soaking in the hot spring in the space.

Huo Jingrui let Yunyi go in first, while he picked up a basket to gather some fruits that Yunyi liked to eat.

Huo Jingrui moved quickly. Just as Yunyi entered the pool, he came back and placed the cherries and strawberries he picked by the poolside, swiftly undressed and got in: "Do you want me to massage your shoulders?"

Yunyi looked at him warily, knowing he had history.

Huo Jingrui was amused by her expression: "What kind of face is that?"

Yunyi casually replied: "A wolf-deterrent face."

As soon as she finished speaking, Huo Jingrui lunged at her: "It’s a wonder if that face could actually work."

Playing around in the water, Yunyi eventually was overcome, and their playfulness lasted for over an hour.

Huo Jingrui actually kept his word, after the fact, not only massaging Yunyi’s shoulders but also giving her a full-body massage.

When they left the hot spring pool, Yunyi hadn’t managed to eat a single fruit. It was all just for the ambiance.

Huo Jingrui leaned close to Yunyi’s ear: "Yi’er, do you want to rest inside or go out?"

Yunyi suddenly opened her closed eyes: "You wouldn’t..."

Before she could finish her sentence, Huo Jingrui kissed her forehead: "I’m not that careless; it’s late, there’s always tomorrow."

A husband’s duty is to care for his wife. Having been busy all day and with plans for tomorrow, he should consider her wellbeing.

As it approached dawn, they finally left the space. Both of them had a habit of morning exercise, so after a quick wash, they went out together.

They ran three laps outside the Military Region compound and sparred in the woods for more than half an hour before returning.

Jiang Jingya saw them coming back from outside and immediately knew they went for a morning workout. She glanced at her son before asking her daughter-in-law: "Why didn’t you sleep a little longer?"

Yunyi smiled and replied: "I have the habit of morning exercise; I wake up at this time."

Jiang Jingya, feeling concerned, said: "Your health is your own, one day’s exercise won’t make a difference. Yesterday was exhausting, and you rested so late. I was going to suggest you get up later, but you’re already back from your workout."

At this moment, Huo Jiayuan came downstairs, rubbing her eyes: "Mom, good morning. Fourth Brother, Fourth Sister-in-law, good morning."

Jiang Jingya looked at her: "Why are you up so early?"

Yawning, Huo Jiayuan said: "To make breakfast for you."
