Chapter 1202: Plans in the Highest Tower ( 1202 )
"They no longer have their summoned heroes to protect them~" Zeyrinda smirked. She glanced at Maekaria. "Good job on inciting those heroes to hate Armand and launch a war against them. It worked perfectly."
Rafazelia chuckled darkly. "And Garius had no choice but to kill them all. This means they no longer have any powerful allies left. Garius is strong, but he’s alone. He might have Lioness, Mylezra, and Veldrac to help him, but none of them are as powerful as Garius."
Zeyrinda snorted. "They won’t be able to fight our summoned heroes, who have immense power, unique talents, and special magic beyond anything they’ve ever faced."
"We made sure those Terrestrial... well, what those idiots call ’Celestial’ beings were released, and we let those three claim their so-called power. Edmund, Gumarak, and Gurdan." Rafazelia smirked. "It forced Garius to kill his own former allies. Now, with two of them dead and Gumarak too ashamed to face Garius after claiming that ’Celestial’ power, Garius and those old-timers are the only ones left."
"Indeed," Zeyrinda said, leaning forward. "Without his full former team, Garius wouldn’t be able to handle our summoned heroes. Even with his strength, he can’t fight alone against an army of quality and quantity like ours. He’ll be overwhelmed, unable to fight back effectively."
Maekaria chuckled. "True~" She narrowed her eyes. "And how dare those dumbasses try to compare those filth with us, the real Celestial?"
"For now, we wait for the human kingdom to descend into civil war. Let them crush each other for power. We will divide them, weaken their unity, and conquer them piece by piece."
"Mm~" Zeyrinda smirked, crossing her arms and leaning back on her throne. "Once that continent is in complete chaos, making Armand too busy to intervene, that’s when we’ll send our army." She took out a leather map. "The only land route is through Amazarak, but we must wait for the right tide when the land bridge appears."
"Mm~ Good thing some of our heroes have knowledge about ships. And we’ve been able to improve our weapons as well."
"True. We have bombs and that thing they call... what was it again?" Rafazelia smirked and glanced at Maekaria.
Maekaria exhaled. "Bolt rifle, Rafa... it’s a bolt rifle. The ones the human kingdom on the other continent has are old-time muskets, the weaker version."
"Aw~ I was just asking. No need to get so defensive~" Rafazelia teased, her tone playful yet mocking.
Zeyrinda narrowed her eyes and glanced toward Maekaria and Rafazelia.
"So... do you have any information about Garius’s sons?"
Maekaria smirked. "Yes. There are two talented among all of Garius’s sons. From the information we gathered, Marcellus is the strongest wizard, able to fight and cast magic without chanting and with incredible speed. Cedric is a rare talent, a Paladin."
"Oh? How interesting. A Paladin, huh?" Zeyrinda smirked. "What about the other sons?"
"Aelius and Athine? They’re just brains. From the information we got, they’re geniuses in economy and market. Heres is the weakest among them. So I don’t think they’ll be trouble." Rafazelia explained dismissively.
Zeyrinda rested her cheek on her palm. "That means the only problem is with two." She paused and rested her chin on her hand. "Well... we’ll just send two of your strongest wizards to fight him. And for that Paladin, I believe your warriors can handle him, Mae?"
Maekaria snorted. "Of course. Who do you think my two warriors are? They’re dual wielders and have talent for attack magic too. I’m sure they can defeat Cedric easily."
Zeyrinda smirked. "No need to send the strongest to fight these two. We only need to divert them while our main force focuses on Garius and his former team."
"But the problem is Alf and Erinette. Not to mention Erinette’s little brother, that dumb Berserker." Rafazelia exhaled.
"Ara~? I’m sure among your five huge heroes, they can fight them, right?" Zeyrinda smirked. "Not to mention we have a lot of chosen ones to assist the heroes. All we need is to take down Garius, kill him, and once he’s down, we can finish everyone."
"Yeah." Maekaria smiled darkly. "And once everyone is finished, no one will be able to protect Francesca."
"And we’ll send heroes to weaken her."
"And by the time she’s weakened, we’ll kill her."
Zeyrinda smirked. "And I’ll claim her divine power for myself."
Rafazelia narrowed her eyes while crossing her arms.
"But I believe there’s one more son of Garius... I think his name is... Javier? I wonder what his talents are."
Maekaria smirked. "Ah... that snotty boy?"
"Why do you call him a snotty boy? He’s Garius’s son. I’m sure he’s not just a brat." Zeyrinda glanced at Maekaria.
"Huh? You know what information I got? He only plays with his weird huge bird, what’s it called again? P... pek... pekko? And another piece of information I have is that he only finished one year of noble school. He has basic talent for magic, like fireball, vine bind, body strengthening, and other simple spells."
"Really?" Rafazelia rubbed her chin while narrowing her eyes. "But according to witnesses, they have weird golems."
Zeyrinda smirked. "Do you forget that the one who can summon those golems is Garius? His special talent? Tell me, when the golems appeared, Garius was around, right?"
Rafazelia tapped her chin. "Yeah. Now that you mention it, the witnesses said Garius was nearby, though not too close."
"That means it was Garius all along." Maekaria grinned darkly. "This means we should focus on wearing out Garius’s power and killing him."
"But there’s one dragon girl from the Dragon Clan who’s married to Garius, right?" Zeyrinda’s face turned serious.
"The White Flame..." Rafazelia narrowed her eyes.
Maekaria smirked darkly. "Zey... didn’t you mention we just need to focus on Garius?"
"Yeah, true. But that dragon girl isn’t easy, you know? She’s been Francesca’s protector for a long time, and she’s not weak." Zeyrinda crossed her arms and looked at the map. "We all know wearing out a dragon girl like her requires a lot of strong heroes. Even if I have twenty heroes, it’ll take about five to seven just to keep her busy and wear her down. That means fewer heroes to fight Garius."
"Heh... she might be strong, but she can’t fight several talented heroes at once." Maekaria smirked darkly. "Not to mention we have a lot of chosen ones to assist the heroes too."
"Don’t be overconfident, Maekaria. You know the Demon King, Veldrac, has a sister who’s also strong, right? I believe her name is Nyxara. Isn’t she also in love with Garius? Not to mention Mylezra, the Elven Queen, isn’t someone we should take lightly. She didn’t become Queen of the Elves if she was weak, you know."
"From what I heard, she’s going to marry Garius, huh?" Rafazelia tapped her chin.
