Chapter 1292: Full Speed, No Regrets ( 1292 )

"Mimiiiiiiii!!!"

Gracelle gripped both armrests as tightly as she could, her knuckles turning white as her eyes widened in panic.

"Slow doooooooown!!!"

"Nyahahahahahahaha!!!" Mimi’s laughter grew even wilder as she pushed faster, her feet pounding against the marble floor, her tail high and swaying with pure exhilaration.

The Armand maids around the hallway, who had already noticed Mimi’s mischievous laughter, simply exhaled and calmly stepped aside, making sure the path was clear. One of them tapped her mana talkie, her voice calm and professional.

"Attention all staff. Princess Mimi is at it again. Please clear the main hallway and secure any fragile items."

"Mimi! Stop! Stoooppp!!!" Gracelle’s voice rose in panic. "If we don’t, we’re going to crash into someone!!"

Meanwhile.

Delya stepped out of the kitchen, a blissful smile on her face as she savored a piece of rich, dark chocolate melting in her mouth. She hugged a small, ornate box of chocolates to her chest, walking with a contented, dreamy expression.

"Mm~ Today’s chocolate is perfect~"

She paused in the middle of the hallway, hugging the box to her chest. Her eyes were half-closed in pure contentment as she chewed slowly, savoring the rich flavor

"Ah~ What a blissful day~"

Delya reached for another piece of chocolate and placed it gracefully on her tongue, letting the rich, bittersweet dark chocolate melt slowly. Her eyes fluttered closed in pure bliss.

Mm~ This chocolate is not as good as what Big Sis Liana and Danna-sama make, but it’s still perfect for me on a quiet day like today.

She closed her eyes, a soft sigh escaping her lips.

I can’t wait for Danna-sama and Big Sis Liana to return, so I can ask them to make another batch of their special chocolate blend.

She took a slow, contented step, still enjoying the lingering flavor in her mouth.

Maybe I’ll head back to the room, brew a pot of royal tea or hot chocolate, and curl up with one of Danna-sama’s storybooks. That would be the perfect way to spend the afternoon.

Lost in her thoughts, Delya walked gracefully, hugging her chocolate box, her mind completely absorbed in the day’s simple pleasures.

She was about to turn the corner when she heard Mimi’s familiar laughter echoing through the hallway.

What is Mimi up to again?

That catgirl is truly a strange one. Being a princess, yet so cheeky and reckless, always causing chaos wherever she goes.

Delya shook her head with a soft smile and turned the corner.

"Nyaaaaa!!! Make way! No brakes! NO BRAAAKKEEEE!!!"

Delya’s eyes widened as she saw a wheelchair barreling toward her, with Mimi pushing it at full speed.

Before she could react, the wheelchair crashed into her. The box of chocolates flew out of her hands, scattering pieces across the floor, as Delya stumbled backward and landed on the ground with a soft thud.

Gracelle was sprawled on the floor, her face pressed against the cool marble, having been thrown forward from the wheelchair upon impact. The wheelchair itself had rolled away and crashed into the wall with a loud clatter. Mimi lay flat on her back, her legs kicked up, her hips and butt in the air, groaning softly.

"Ow, ow, ow~" Delya mumbled, rubbing her side as she sat up. Her eyes scanned the floor, and her face fell as she saw her precious chocolates scattered everywhere, some crushed, others rolling to a stop.

She gave Mimi a sharp glare. "MIMI!!!"

Mimi sat up quickly, kneeling on the floor, before glancing at Delya with a sheepish grin, rubbing the back of her head.

"Ehehehe~"

"Look what you’ve done! My chocolate!" Delya puffed her cheeks, keeping her glare fixed on Mimi, who quickly averted her eyes, pretending to examine the ceiling.

"Umm... umm..." Gracelle mumbled weakly, still sprawled on the floor in mild pain. She lifted her head slightly and looked at them with pleading eyes. "A little help... please...?"

Delya’s eyes widened before she scrambled over to Gracelle, kneeling beside her and gently helping her sit upright. She supported Gracelle’s back with one hand while checking her for any injuries.

"Are you alright? Does anything hurt?" Delya asked, her voice laced with concern.

Gracelle shook her head weakly, still catching her breath. "I... I think I’m okay... just a little sore..."

Once Gracelle was seated safely, Delya turned her head and shot a sharp glare at Mimi.

"You brought her outside the room while she’s still not fully recovered?! What were you thinking?!"

"Eh?" Mimi narrowed her eyes, crossing her arms defensively. "She was the one who wanted to go out! And besides, husband-sama already said we could bring her for a walk around the estate as long as it’s not outside the grounds!"

"That’s not a walk!" Delya hissed, her voice rising. "You were running, laughing, and pushing her full speed down the hallway like it’s a race, laughing like a wild cat! That’s not helping her recover, that’s risking her getting hurt again!"

Mimi pouted, rubbing her arm as she mumbled under her breath. "Mou... you’re no fun, Delya... Nothing happened to her anyway. We all just fell a little, that’s all..."

"A little?!" Delya’s eye twitched. "You crashed into me! My chocolates are ruined!"

"Nya? Chocolate? Where?" Mimi glanced around with an exaggerated innocent expression, pretending not to see the scattered chocolates on the floor.

"Right there!" Delya hissed, pointing angrily at the mess on the floor. "You’ve ruined my perfect day! I was going to enjoy those with some royal tea, and now look at them!"

"Nya? It’s not like they’ll be dirty," Mimi said casually, waving a hand dismissively. "The Armand hallway is so clean you could eat off the floor, nya~" She stood up, walked over to a nearby piece, and squatted down, picking it up. "See? I’ll help you pick them up~"

Delya puffed her cheeks before slowly standing up, brushing off her dress. "This is all your fault, Mimi. Now pick up all my chocolates while I help Gracelle."

"Nya?" Mimi gave Delya a sly, cheeky glance before popping the piece of chocolate she had picked up into her mouth. She chewed slowly, a mischievous grin spreading across her face.

"Mmm~ Delicious~"

Delya’s eyes widened. "Mimi! That was mine!"

Mimi quickly grabbed another piece, stuffed it into her mouth, and then scooped up a handful, shoving them into her cheeks like a cheeky squirrel, laughing with her mouth full as she darted around, dodging Delya’s outstretched hands.

"Nyahahahaha! I’ll help by ’safely storing’ them in my tummy, nya!"

"Get back here, you thief!" Delya chased after her, her earlier frustration forgotten as she tried to catch the mischievous catgirl.
