Reborn as the Genius Son of the Richest Family

Chapter 1403: Chameleon

Chapter 1403: Chameleon

Michael’s mind began to wander with all sorts of thoughts and possibilities. If he could somehow master other people’s abilities and their own swordstyles, then wouldn’t he be able to use it himself? He had even already used their Sword Intent without even really intending it.

With these kinds of possibilities running through him, Michael immediately wanted to try it out.

He took out a new switch. And with a few magic circles, he was able to create a simple spear, one with a diamond Unity Saber tip at the very end.

Then, he thought back to Draco’s movements. His swordstyle. His unique actions. Bloodthirsty, unrelenting, fast.

He began to think of himself as Draco. Then, he raised his spear high up in the air before thrusting it forwards with the same speed and force that he’d seen back when he was fighting the Clone Draco for months at a time.

Michael was actually surprised at how well it had gone. It felt like second nature to him now. It felt as if Draco’s movements were now something that he had come up with himself!

And with each swing of his saber, the speed and intensity of his thrusts became ever more sharper. After all, he began to imbue more and more of his Sword Intent into the spear, much like what he had accidentally done just a few seconds ago.

Eldea, watching this, couldn’t help but cover her mouth. She just watched him. Watched him turn into a completely different person. It was as if Michael had become Draco, with even his facial expressions becoming more bloodthirsty as he unleashed his unrelenting and inexorable spear swings all around him.

It was very clear to the Heavenly Swordmistress that she was looking at a completely different kind of genius.

Jaku was a genius because of his speed and his natural affinity to the sword. Many masters like her would spend decades upon decades just so that they could master their own style and become good at it. But Jaku seemed to have that kind of talent innately.

Michael’s talent was completely different. It’s as if he was a chameleon. Eldea didn’t think that he was all that talented in the sword after seeing him swing his sword. He was good, but not anywhere in the same level as Jaku or her.

But once she showed him this kind of ’mimicking’ ability, she was able to finally understand what made Michael so different from the others.

His talent was assimilation! His talent was that he could do everything, and do everything well!

Nobody would have been able to copy someone else’s swordstyle to the point of conjuring Sword Intent because that was innate to the soul itself. But it seemed that Michael was an exception. His very swordstyle was that he could copy other swordstyles and use it for himself!

Michael finished his demonstration, finding his blood pumping even more than before. Was that because he had exerted himself greatly, or was it because of the bloodlust that was subtly growing inside of him as he put himself into the mindset of the crazy Draco?

He didn’t know.

But one thing was for sure. He had successfully made Draco’s swordstyle his very own!

He could use it for himself. But perhaps the greatest thing about it was that he could also teach it to other people!

Michael would not be able to use Draco’s swordstyle that much. After all, he still believed that his own Quantum Evolution swordstyle was a lot better than any other swordstyle out there. At the very least, it was something that was tailor made for him.

But still, this swordstyle, or should he say spearstyle, was very useful to the rest of the Rebornian soldiers who had yet to find their own suitable teachers.

Right now, their army was composed of sword users. Those who had other talents were on the sidelines. They were still practicing, but Michael and the other generals wouldn’t use them in actual battles like those Sanctum Duels. After all, they didn’t have a set swordstyle that would help them against much more experienced soldiers.

But with this new swordstyle, Michael had essentially copied Draco and transformed him into a teacher!

"Thank you, Miss Eldea! I have to go now," he said to her.

Immediately, he flew off into the skies and rocketed off into their army camp in the Nation of Reborn.

Meanwhile, Eldea was just left standing there, still a look of disbelief in her eyes.

"That guy... he just used a magic circle..."

...

...

...

First of all, Michael first went back to his personal estate. He went towards the ground floor, where most of his personal Unity Clones were residing.

This place was where they rested whenever they weren’t out there patrolling the streets of Reborn and making sure that there were no troublemakers around.

"Alpha, Bravo, Charlie..."

He began to call them out one by one, making sure that he made a proper roll call out of all of them. All eleven of his Unity Clones saluted him, before lining up.

"Right now, I am going to do a little experiment. I don’t know if it’s going to work or not, but I am not sure. It may mess with your own bodies, so it’s not without risk. Who is willing to go through it first?"

Immediately, Alpha raised her hand. She was his very first Clone. And because of that, she was the leader out of all of them, making sure that they all had their responsibilities and were doing it correctly.

After all, they were Reborn’s greatest secret power.

Whenever the Shadow Orcs were faced with a problem that was way too powerful for them to face against, that was when the Unity Clones were dispatched.

Their Pseudo Nascent Spirit cultivator rank allowed them easily defeat anyone under the Body Formation realm. And against other Nascent Spirit cultivators, they could hold their ground as long as there were many of them.

But now, Michael hoped that that would change.
