Reborn As The Minor Villain In A Romance Fantasy Novel

Chapter 253: Elena

Chapter 253: Elena

They were back at the top floor of the Moon Hotel and Lucius was currently in the luxurious dining hall while eating dinner.

The girls were scattered around the dining hall too, seated at a long mahogany table that could easily accommodate twenty people, and the maids were making sure that everyone ate properly.

They moved between the seated guests with grace, refilling drinks and bringing out new courses with perfect timing.

"And just like that... our first day of vacation is done." Vanessa said while stretching her arms above her head, her back arching slightly.

Even though it wasn’t exactly what she had initially wanted to do with the day, it was still fun regardless.

The amusement park had been unexpectedly enjoyable, and watching Lucius interact with everyone had been entertaining in its own way.

"I had a lot of fun, what about everyone else?" she asked, looking around the table.

There were nods of agreement all over, heads bobbing and smiles spreading across tired faces. The exhaustion was pleasant, the kind that came from a full day of activity rather than stress.

Emilia raised her fork up dramatically like a sword.

"It was really fun, however... I’ll win the next round so that all of us can go shopping for dildos together..." She announced with absolute seriousness.

Everyone immediately became steeled with determination to ensure that she didn’t win a round at all costs.

The thought of spending an entire day in adult shops while Emilia enthusiastically compared products was too horrifying to contemplate.

"I think there’s a bigger issue at hand right now." Selene said, her voice cutting through the chatter as she glanced at Amber across the table.

The President’s daughter seemed noticeably dejected as she ate mechanically, pushing food around her plate without much appetite.

Her disguise was gone now, revealing her natural hair and small frame.

"Girls, don’t you want Lucius to sleep with you in your room tonight?" Selene asked with calculated innocence.

That simple question drew everyone’s immediate attention as they all turned to her with widening eyes.

"Of course." Vanessa said instantly, glancing at Lucius with pink cheeks that deepened as memories surfaced.

She could still vividly remember when he had taken her to a high-end hotel last week and absolutely fucked everything out of her.

They’d gone for hours, different positions, until she couldn’t form coherent sentences anymore. She was completely satisfied right now, but the memory alone made her core temperature rise.

Lucius was currently on his phone, texting back and forth with the Saintess about which specific Moon Hotel location she would come to when she landed in New Avalon.

So he didn’t pay much attention to the conversation happening around him, assuming it was just girl talk.

Judea’s eyes flicked to Selene with sudden alertness.

Since Lucius was now her official mate according to dragon customs, they needed to be in the same room tonight to complete the bonding ritual properly but she decided to silently pray to whatever goddess might be listening that she would win the next round fair and square.

"It’ll be the same rules as before... we’ll be doing a tournament bracket and the winner of this one gets to drag Lucius to their room tonight." Selene announced immediately with a mischievous smile.

Lucius’s eyes flicked up sharply from his phone screen.

"Hey... I didn’t agree to this at all!" Lucius protested, looking around the table for support.

However, the girls completely ignored his objection and immediately started organizing their Rock-Paper-Scissors tournament once again, already pairing off and practicing their throws.

...

Several rounds later, Judea’s heart beat wildly in her chest as everyone at the table looked at her with obvious jealousy burning in their eyes.

"Anddd you win again." Selene sounded completely deflated, her shoulders slumping in defeat.

Emilia stood up dramatically, pointing an accusing finger directly at Judea like a lawyer in a courtroom.

"I think she’s cheating!" she declared loudly.

Judea chuckled trying to maintain an innocent expression. All in all, she was genuinely happy that she had won.

The odds of winning twice in a row were astronomically low, which made everyone suspicious.

"She didn’t use any mana during the matches... nobody did, I was monitoring closely. There wouldn’t be any way of cheating." Selene said logically, though her tone suggested she was also slightly suspicious. "It’s not like dragons have the power to see into the future or anything, right?"

"Right." Judea nodded quickly, perhaps a bit too quickly. "Just good luck."

She stood up from her chair with dignity. "I have something to announce... instead of calling me Minerva, please call me Judea from now on. We’re all sister-wives in this place after all, so I should use my real name."

And to the shock of everyone present, she walked over to where Lucius was sitting and then took him firmly by the hand.

"Let’s go... to my room." She said, her voice leaving no room for argument.

Lucius obliged and stood up, recognizing that tone.

He wished everyone a goodnight as they wished him the same with varying degrees of enthusiasm and jealousy.

Selene called out after them as they headed toward the hallway.

"Judea, know that tomorrow, you won’t be allowed to participate in event choosing and bedroom time since you already won both rounds!" She said firmly.

There was absolutely no way she was letting one person monopolize Lucius twice in a row, especially since Judea seemed to have a suspiciously high amount of luck.

That needed to be regulated.

"Alright, my fellow sister-wives... goodnight! Let’s meet up tomorrow morning for breakfast!" Selene announced.

...

Minutes later, in Judea’s private room, she felt her back hit the wall as she looked up into Lucius’s eyes.

He was shirtless like she had nervously instructed earlier, his muscular torso on full display.

And she had removed her top clothes as well, now wearing only a black lace bra that barely fit her generous curves.

The garment strained slightly with each breath she took.

"So what’s this tradition thing you’re talking about?" He asked as he looked down at her, his purple eyes catching the soft light.

Judea’s fingers had begun unconsciously massaging his biceps with her hands, feeling the firm muscle beneath his skin.

"We need to sleep together." She said, her face turning noticeably pink at the admission.

"Sleeping togethe—?"

"It’s not what you think, pervert!" She interrupted immediately, her voice pitching higher with embarrassment.

"But I didn’t even sa—" Lucius tried to defend himself.

"We are going to be sleeping on the same bed... not doing any sexual activity." She said firmly, though she couldn’t quite meet his eyes as she looked away. "I’ll need to perform more research on human mating customs before I accept to do that properly."

"Then why are we both currently without our top clothes... well except you, you’re wearing a bra." He pointed out logically, gesturing between them.

She let out a long sigh, preparing to explain. "First of all, I took off my upper clothes so fabric doesn’t get in the way of sprouting my wings. They need space to manifest properly from my back."

She paused, her blush deepening. "Next, I need a broad, warm surface to sleep on which is your bare chest. It’s... it’s part of the bonding process."

Judea turned even more pink as she said that, realizing how it must sound to him.

"Whatever, just get onto the bed and lie facing up." She commanded, trying to regain some composure through authority.

Lucius did as she said without further argument, taking hold of his phone and lying down over the massive bed.

It was really soft, the mattress almost swallowing him with its plush comfort.

He sank into it perfectly.

Slowly, Judea climbed into the bed from the foot, approaching from his legs.

She was kneeling over him now, positioned above his waist. He didn’t know why but for some reason, she looked really hot right now.

The dim lighting of the room... her nervous expression and the way her hair fell around her face... she looked sexy.

From her back, her dragon wings suddenly spread out with a soft sound like unfurling silk.

They were magnificent, scaled in deep purple and black, easily spanning ten feet across.

The membrane between the bone structures glowed with an inner light, and they radiated warmth.

She laid down carefully on his chest, pressing her nose into his sternum as her dragon wings covered them both, draping over the edges of the bed like a living blanket.

The wings created a private cocoon, shutting out the rest of the world.

Lucius immediately felt newfound energy stir within him then it stabilized.

"Just stay still, we’ll be like this till morning." She said, looking up at his face.

However, that was a mistake.

She could see his lips from this angle, full and inviting, and her dragon instincts wanted her to kiss them desperately.

The urge was overwhelming.

Since she was a dragon and he was now her officially bonded mate, her natural instincts were screaming at her to mate with him properly to potentially produce children.

Dragons had strong reproductive drives once bonded but she buried her face deeper into his chest, fighting against the biological imperatives, she was not ready for such an endeavor.

"Is there any way I can get my mind off this...?" She yelped out, her voice muffled against his skin.

Lucius lifted his phone into view above them.

"How about we watch movies... the internet connection is really fast here." He suggested practically.

She pushed herself up slightly while pouting, trying to create a bit of distance without breaking the wing coverage. "Let’s watch them then..."

He pulled up a streaming service and selected something action-oriented to distract from the intimacy of their position.

...

[The Next Morning]

Elena von Hohenberg stood outside the Moon Hotel Number 5 with two large pieces of designer luggage.

Her hair was swooshed back dramatically by the morning breeze, and she looked as menacing as ever despite her casual travel clothes.

Dark sunglasses hid her eyes, but her posture radiated controlled violence.

’So Lucius is on the top floor of this establishment, huh?’ She thought, having tracked his location through his social media post.

She pulled out her phone and looked at that vacation picture from yesterday, gritting her teeth.

Right now it had accumulated 101 million likes and was still climbing... She scrolled through the comments, most of them thirsting over Lucius or asking who the mystery women were.

Then she looked at all the women in the background of the photo, genuinely having fun in that pool.

They were happy, carefree, enjoying themselves and she wanted that too.

She wanted to have fun with Lucius, to be one of those women in his orbit instead of being stuck in boring military meetings.

Just then, a yellow cab pulled up next to where she was standing and out came Rita.

The Saintess was wearing casual clothes that somehow still managed to look modest and alluring simultaneously, but her distinctive pink hair was tied back in a high ponytail.

She had two large pairs of matching luggage with her.

"It’s only a week vacation... you overpacked." Elena observed critically, looking at the excessive baggage.

Rita seemed very delighted this morning, practically glowing with anticipation.

"Are you here to see Lucius too?" Elena asked.

"Yes, I told him I was coming over and he gave me the location details..." She said cheerfully as a maid in Moon Hotel uniform approached the two of them from the entrance.

Elena’s expression darkened, her pleasant mask slipping.

"When I’m with him... stay away from him less I rip off your skull from the rest of your body." She said seriously, her voice dropping to a threatening register.

She wasn’t joking. She had literally done that exact thing to about ten people during the last few months, decapitating them with her bare hands enhanced by magic.

"If this was before, then I would be very scared of such remarks." Rita said calmly, completely unfazed by the death threat. "But I know that Lucius will not let you hurt me now."

Her confidence was absolute, born from his protection.

Elena turned to face her directly, removing her sunglasses to reveal dangerous eyes. "Want to test out that theory...?"

"Enough ladies." A smooth voice interrupted.

With the approaching maid was a silver-haired woman who radiated power. It was the same woman from Lucius’s vacation picture, and she gave off an immense amount of concentrated mana that made the air feel thick.

Elena was absolutely sure of it now. She had seen this woman once before, years ago during a high-level summit.

"Moon Goddess... is that you?" Elena asked, her voice taking on a note of respect despite herself.

"Yes, Queen Of Death... it is I." Selene replied while making a small, elegant curtsey that somehow didn’t seem mocking. "You remember what I told you about during that meeting... my quest for finding my fated one? I found him yesterday."

Her smile was radiant and genuine.

"I see..." Elena processed this information, connecting dots. So Lucius was the Moon Goddess’s fated one? That explained why she was hosting them.

Elena took hold of her luggage handles. "Shall we go meet Lucius then?"

"We shall." Rita replied eagerly, already moving toward the entrance.

However, just as Elena passed by Selene, Elena suddenly stopped.

Her expression twisted with fury.

She cocked her fist back and mana began vibrating violently around it, her magic swirling in visible black and purple patterns.

The very air crackled with destructive force.

"Fucking homewrecker!" Elena shouted, punching forward with enough concentrated power to blow the concrete pavement apart and create a crater.

However, her attack never connected with its intended target.
