Xinyan briefly explained, "Granny Zhang will definitely stay in her hometown for a while. I’ll come back after I help her settle in."

Xinyan didn’t object. If there really was an issue with that household, the neighborhood police should be able to find some clues.
Noting that it was indeed late, she said, "Then you should hurry, otherwise you’ll miss the last bus home."
He Jinxuan walked her to the mouth of the alley, "Go in. I’ll watch you go in before I leave."
Xinyan didn’t want to delay him any longer and said, "Just explain things and head back quickly. Don’t miss the last bus, and make sure to rest early. Be safe on the way."
After speaking, she turned and jogged into the alley.
