They stopped only when they reached the entrance of the teaching building, turned their heads to look back simultaneously.

They saw Cao Haiping standing there, frozen, as if lost in thought.

"That guy really has no shame," Jiang Peiqin said disdainfully, "You’re just too kind-hearted. Just give him a taste of his own medicine."

Xinyan knew the professor meant well. After all, translating a professional foreign-language book pays quite a bit nowadays, so she accepted with a smile: "Thank you, Professor, I’ll definitely finish it on time."

The publisher indeed gave ample time, but their requirements are high too. The translation fee for this book is higher than others, so naturally, it made sense to take care of his most proud student.

When she returned to the dorm with the book, everyone was getting ready to head to the cafeteria for lunch.

Tang Congrong looked over at just that moment: "Hello Han Xinyan, I’m Tang Congrong. Please take care of me in the future."

Xinyan nodded at her: "Hello, I don’t stay in the dorm, and we’re not in the same class, so ’taking care’ doesn’t quite apply."

Ever since He Jinxuan told her those people who kept appearing in front of her were arranged by certain families, she’s been very wary.

This Tang Congrong transferring from the Russian Department to their dorm, specifically room 306, doesn’t seem coincidental.

With that, the group burst into laughter.
