Chapter 1933: Chapter 1927: It Will Get Better and Better

"How have you been these days?" Fang Xiu placed her youngest son in the cradle before sitting down at the table to eat.

"Pretty good, work and everything has been going smoothly. How about you?" Qin Xue dipped a dumpling into sauce and popped it into her mouth; truly, Chenchen’s culinary skills were exceptional, the taste was so fresh.

"I’m doing well too, I just missed you all." Fang Xiu had never been apart from her eldest son, so when Qin Xue asked, she glanced at her eldest son beside her before answering Qin Xue’s question.

"That’s understandable, Taotao is really a good and impressive child." Qin Xue recalled when Yu Ze was taken away, fortunately Jingtao had drawn. Although his drawings couldn’t compare to professional work, they were much better than average, thanks to Qin Xue teaching them all how to draw whenever she had time; Jingtao just showed a greater passion for it.

So Qin Xue thought that it wouldn’t be bad if Jingtao pursued this path in the future, but these decisions would have to be made by him later on because, in Qin Xue’s view, passion should outweigh just sheer talent.

"It’s all thanks to your guidance as parents; otherwise, he wouldn’t be achieving what he is now." Fang Xiu didn’t dismiss her son’s efforts, but having good teachers is crucial, so Qin Xue and Chu Molin couldn’t be credited enough.

"He is indeed a diligent learner, or else no matter how well we teach, it wouldn’t make a difference, right, Taotao?" Qin Xue asked Jingtao.

"Yes." Jingtao nodded. He was two years old now, so he could understand some words, even if he didn’t fully grasp their meaning.

"See, I told you it’s the child’s own effort." Qin Xue smiled and nodded.

"Yes, it’s the result of our effort." As soon as Qin Xue finished speaking, the four children at home chimed in with a line that was both amusing and touching.

"We know you’re all amazing. Keep working hard in the future." Qin Xue didn’t single out anyone for praise; she commended all of them collectively, for children need lots of encouragement, or they’d feel imbalance in their hearts.

As a modern woman, Qin Xue wouldn’t make such a mistake, so she treated everyone equally.

"Understood, mom! We will get better and better." All three children responded with an enthusiastic reply, except for the foodie, Yu Chen, who was focused on his meal, nodding continuously to show he was listening.

"Alright, I know you’re all good. Just eat well." Qin Xue really admired these little ones, such small children, what do they know? It’s better for them to play and do things suitable for their age; otherwise, they wouldn’t have a childhood, right? A few decades later, those kids living in the present era wouldn’t truly have a childhood.

They spend all their time immersed in studying, either attending classes at school or doing homework until midnight at home, with weekends filled with tutorials and interest classes; all these activities take up their time, leaving no extra time to play, so while there aren’t too many academic obligations now, play as much as possible, otherwise they won’t have the chance later.

Although Qin Xue didn’t want them all to do anything drastic, she also hoped they would be successful, or else their future lives would be difficult due to fierce competition.

"Qin Xue, what are you planning to do with Cohen?" Fang Xiu looked at Cohen, who should be starting school in a year or two, they couldn’t just keep going like this.

"We’re planning to adopt him. Chu Molin has already given him a name; he’ll take Chu as his surname." Qin Xue planned to send Jingtao back to Fang Xiu tonight and take Cohen to handle adoption paperwork tomorrow; she and Chu Molin had discussed it earlier, so this matter was urgent.
